The condo was the perfect location for a week long stay while skiing and other winter activities at Purgatory ski resort. The condo has everything you would ever want and was very well maintained. When we arrived it was well stocked and very clean. We have stayed at numerous slope side condos at Purgatory and this one is our new favorite. The rental company is by far the easiest we have ever worked with and makes sure that you are totally satisfied with your stay. We will definitely be using the Durango Vacation Rental Collective again when we return to Purgatory.

We loved our stay at Black Bear 59! The townhome is super cozy and VERY convenient to the resort. The best part is that the on-demand shuttle arrives in minutes and picks you up/drops you off at your front door.

We can't say enough good things about this townhome. It was extremely clean, had a well stocked kitchen, plenty of dishes and cookware and was right across the street from Purgatory with great views. The rental company communicated clearly and often. It was perfect for my family and we would come back in a heartbeat. Wonderful time was had by all!

Stayed at Black Bear 59 for a week to ski with our family of 5. Condo has beautiful views and the free shuttle pick up / drop off to the resort was quick and easy for us. We used the grill, and kitchen had all the resources needed for cooking. Internet was painfully slow, our kids missed school for a week while skiing, and needed to turn in a few assignments electronically. The wifi was not ever strong enough for my kids to access the needed materials or send communication to their teachers, we ended up using our personal hotspots for this instead. TV was also painfully slow. Watched a couple of movies in the evening, and buffering was an issue. My husband had to update the downstairs TV in order to access the basic cable channels to watch the Super Bowl. Pet hair was an issue too. We love animals and do not have a problem with rentals being pet friendly. However, pet hair was absolutely everywhere. 1 of my kiddos and I do have certain allergies to pet hair and were coughing, wheezing & sneezing all week. I ended up getting allergy medicine for us, which helped. The blankets provided had hair all over them, and we could not sit on the floor due to the hair. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean, but it felt like everywhere else had not been properly vacuumed or dusted - due to the quantity of pet hair we experienced. Like I mentioned, we love animals but if allergies are an issue, I would consider looking elsewhere to stay. Other than the wifi and issues with pet-allergies, we loved our time at Purgatory and the condo suited our family nicely.

Easy check in, property was clean and well stocked with supplies to start off with. Close to purgatory ski resort. The on call shuttle service was very convenient for getting back and forth to the ski lifts. Nice quiet neighborhood. Would highly recommend.

Party of 5 adults and 3 kids. Living, Dining, and Kitchen very small areas. Bedrooms and baths very nice however master mattress is in need of replacing. One bunk bed does not have ladder and has an opening where a child could fall through to downstairs. Be aware if you bring two cars one must be in garage at all times, no parking on street so you wont be able to use ping pong table. CONSTRUCTION right on top of driveway. Kitchen appliances need repair - I would say cooktop is hazard based on gas flames shooting. Built in microwave not working so another one is on countertop taking up limited space. Loved having washer/dryer, loved location, Need to go to Durango for walmart or grocery store, dr places to dine. Balconys were nice

Our family had a great time staying in this condo. The location was perfect for getting to the slopes. The condo was clean and well stocked. The internet was out for 4 of the 5 days we were there but that wasn’t the fault of those managing the rental, the entire complex was out. The microwave could stand to be replaced as you had to hold the door closed to get it to work. But other then that, it was well maintained. A piece of information not included in the rental info was that you are o my allowed 2 cars. One in the garage and one in the driveway. Any additional cars must be left at the overflow parking lot for the resort. There isn’t any on property extra parking spaces. Not a deal breaker, but we had 3 families with 3 cars. And while we were not happy about having to leave a car unattended in the overflow lot, it all turned out ok.

Beautiful townhouse! We stayed with our friends and kids for a fun weekend and took the kids to the play express. The house had everything we needed plus so many fun things for the kids. It was clean and beautifully decorated. We took advantage of the pool and hot tub as well. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful Property
Property was even better than pictures. It was beautiful, clean and more than we expected. The kids loved the ping pong table in the garage and my 4 year old granddaughter found legos in the closet that kept her busy all weekend. View of the mountain from master bedroom was stunning.

This condo is beautiful and looked exactly as expected. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 3 separate outdoor spaces (patios). Even though we were there for a week (5 of us), enough supplies were left for us that we didn't even have to purchase paper towels, toilet paper, coffee filters, dish soap, dishwasher liquid, laundry detergent and dryer sheets - unbelievable! Condo is just across the street from Purgatory Resort so we enjoyed the pool, ski lift, slide, and coaster over there a couple days. Rode the train and went whitewater rafting - had a blast - condo was perfect for our needs and booking was effortless with Premier Vacation Rentals Group!! Highly recommend them and this condo!

We had a lovely stay! The cabin is beautiful and had everything we needed. Lots of soft cozy blankets, dishes, pots, pans etc. Absolutely loved hanging out on the deck and the kids enjoyed the ping pong table. We really liked that it backed up to the woods. Short walk to the lake. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful vacation condo
The condo was beautiful, and it was a wonderful place to relax! Whether you prefer relaxation or all Durango/Puragtory has to offer, this is the perfect spot! We enjoyed being close to Purgatory to enjoy all the activities, but we loved being in the quiet neighborhood across the highway.

We had a great week. Loved the pond and playing on the water. Boys enjoyed the ping pong table. Thanks for sharing your home with us! Our favorite things to do were whitewater rafting and jeeping on Imogene Pass & Ophir Pass. Visited Mesa Verde too and were amazed by the cliff dwellings. We will be back!

Great Location, Nice House - some issues
some furniture (couch & chair) was shabby with large scuffs, tears and scratches. Carpet was old, worn and stained. Too much furniture made it cluttered and hard to walk around the living room and dining area without removing some pieces of furniture to make it more accessible.
Temperature control /thermostat module in refrigerator was hanging/dangling down. Too many throw rugs throughout house (not secured) including rugs on top of the carpet making walking and tripping a interesting adjunct to the place. Master bedroom bed was missing Foot Board - which left exposed two large metal hangers/plates for you ankles and shins to catch on.
Master bed room closet had two very large trunks stored in the closet - which didn't leave any floor space for shoes or other items or the top shelf which had other household items placed there leaving very little room for anything else. I do have pictures in case anyone is interested in seeing.

The House is in Purgatory
The house is nice. It is located in Purgatory which is in between Silverton and Durango. It’s about 30 mins from Durango. The house is in a very desolate area. We did not go during snow season so there wasn’t much to do close to the house. The check in process was very easy and our GPS took us directly to the property from Montrose Airport. Also if you’re driving to the property from Montrose you’ll drive through Red Mountain Pass and while it’s a beautiful drive, you’re butthole will be puckered from fear lol. The house wasn’t as clean as I had hoped for. They’re were chips on the floor when we arrived, empty Bud Light bottle on the patio. The patio was also very dirty with dirt and bird crap and the patio furniture cushions has definitely seen their better days. Some of the cushions were even missing. But the real issue was when I pulled back the covers in the masters bed there was a ring. Looked like a wedding ring and there was hair on the sheets. We had to completely strip the bed and search for more sheets. Overall the house served the purpose.

Snowboard getaway
This is one of my fave rentals I’ve rented. Super cute townhouse with plenty of room, and great views. So loved the venting under cabinets for heating. I really don’t have any complaints.

This 3bdrm 2.5 bath is beautifully furnished with pleasing art and decor, better linens towels, cookware and knives. It is right across the highway from the Purgatory entrance. We have stayed here for 3 years because it is always clean and well kept. The management is helpful. We will return next year to this place to hike, fish and explore higher mountains in a Jeep rental.

Perfect Location
Beautiful property in excellent location just outside of the city of Durango. No air conditioning in these condos and was 100 degrees the day we were there. Master bedroom ceiling fan didn’t work so we had to sleep in guest bedroom. Also note that you need to haul your trash about half a mile away. Really those are just small issues. Beautiful property directly across from Purgatory. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great Summer Mountain Home!
This was a great place to stay and provided a scenic mountain view from the patio. Very comfortable beds and private garage. We will be back!
NOTE: Smokers please read!
These mountain homes in this complex do not have Air Conditioning for the summer time. This isn't an issue for comfort in the daytime or night if you're leaving your windows open. However when you smoke on your patio or in the driveway this becomes an issue for non smokers when windows are open. Please be courteous and aware of this situation. Knowing your wind direction is a must so you're not disrupting your neighbors vacations.

Excellent getaway
This property is beautiful! We came for a summer getaway from AZ and the cool weather was just what we needed. The location is pretty far outside of Durango so there aren’t a lot of restaurants or grocery stores nearby, plan accordingly. We intentionally didn’t want to be around a lot of people due to covid so it was a perfect stay for us. Beautiful lake nearby with a nice walking path as well as a hiking trail.

Stayed here with friends after a backpack trip. Great size for group of 6. All the amenities we could ask for after a week of hiking. Would recommend.
