Our initial plans were derailed due to the Denali fire. We booked this VRBO at the very last minute -- so we didn't have much time to research. We were delighted with the accommodations. The unit is very clean and well appointed. It was just the two of us, so we used only the main bedroom with a queen mattress. The mattress was comfortable and sheets were soft. We appreciated the small extras like a box of kleenex and coffee. The window shades blocked out plenty of sunlight. It's not a large unit but plenty big for 4 people. There is a large deck with a wood fire pit and gas grill (we did not use either). By the time we arrived we still hadn't received the door code, but that was quickly remedied by the responsive manager/owner. The door code made it easy to get in/out throughout our 2 night stay. There is a short flight of stairs to access the bathroom and laundry. The only slightly negative issue that we can report is that there can be some noise from the main house that sits above the bathroom/laundry area. We heard some noise, but fortunately it doesn't affect most of the unit. Perhaps a sign in the main unit would be helpful to remind those guests that there are other guests below them. But again, it wasn't a huge issue for us since the noise is limited to one area of the unit. We would most definitely stay here again if we return to the Denali area.

Well-appointed and organized portion of house located in Healy about 10 minutes drive from Denali. Great deck, easy parking and easy to find. Conveniences nearby include restaurants and convenience stores. Easy communication with host.

This is a nice little place to stay that’s very convenient to Denali National Park. Not much of a kitchen and the bathroom/ laundry room is down a couple of stairs from the rest of the rental. Beds were comfy and beautiful view from the window. You can hear the people staying in the house that the unit is attached to. We were only there to sleep for two nights while we enjoyed the Park do it was okay.

Loved the Mom in Law. Nice accommodations with a view of Mt. Healy. Very private even though the larger unit was occupied. Fire pit was fun, don’t forget to pick up some wood at Three Bears. We have family in the area and will definitely rent this unit again.

This was a beautiful VRBO, with an awesome view! The check in process was very easy, and the service when we needed additional sheets and a fan, was awesome! The only downfall was the size and set up of the kitchen, it was very small and difficult for more than one person to work in at a time.

This place was perfect. Super close to groceries, Denali, and bonus creek about 100 yards from the cabin.
The kitchen was well stocked and we needed nothing to make our family supper tonight ach night. The full size frig and oven were clutch and the dining space meant we could all sit at the table and eat together. I love that. Also the washer and drier kept me out of my duffel entirely. So convenient!
The location is quiet, though you can hear the neighbors above.
We met the super nice property manager who was sure to be available if we needed anything, which we didn’t - because it had all the things.

The location of the cabin is very good. The view of some of the Mountain Ranges, especially the one from the back of the Cabin is wonderful. Dave was very attentive and helpful with the check-in instructions and directions to the cabin (We drove from Anchorage to Denali and the cabin.On a Personal note: We wish to mention and thank Laura (the manager of the rental) for all she did for us. We liked the house a lot. Only the noise from the neighbouring house was a minus. It was nice and close to the three bear grocery store and also a nice scenic drive to Denali. We even saw a moose in a pond. That was a bonus

An unexpected dinner guest
The property was as advertised - comfy beds, nice kitchen, large bathroom, washer and dryer (with soap provided). About 15 minutes from Denali NP entrance. About 5 minute walk to dry creek (which wasn't dry at all). Our last night we were eating dinner and looked out the window and saw a moose eating a salad about 15 feet away. Watched her for about 30 minutes until she hopped over the fence.

This property was just what you would expect in the remote Denali region. Had all the amenities you would need with a large washer and dryer. The beds were very comfortable. The view of the mountains from the kitchen window and deck was spectacular!

Great stay in Healy!
We stayed for 2 nights mid-Sept. Great location for visiting Denali and the area. The inside of the property is very nice, but pales in comparison to the view from the windows and back deck. We enjoyed hanging on the deck and enjoying the fire pit both nights. Kitchen was well stocked and the washer/dryer are top notch. I was almost a little intimidated to use them. The beds and bed linens were super comfy. Made you want to crawl in and not get back out. If we ever come back to Healy, we would stay here again.
