The property was fully consistent with its VRBO summary. Well-maintained, spacious, perfect for dinners with a large family with a great dining table (12), bar (3) and adjacent round table (4). With ample space in the kitchen for several cooks. Well-stocked kitchen - one of the few VRBO properties that truly deliver on this score. Excellent communication with Sharon - the property owner. Immediately responsive.

We enjoyed our stay at this house! It had great kitchen and living room space. There were 9 of us staying here and everyone was comfortable. We loved the back deck as well, very peaceful with the golf course view. Nice location in Tahoe Donner!

The house is wonderful for family gatherings. We had three families in our group. We loved how spacious the living, dining and kitchen areas are, and we loved hanging out around the large dining table. It’s really nice that each room has its own full bathroom with two of the rooms having en suite bathrooms. The location is great. The house is on a quiet street that is fun and easy to bike ride and walk around with little ones. We also really appreciated the Tesla charger in the garage and the easy communication with Susan. A great stay!

We had 6 adults and 4 young children in our group and stayed 3 nights. The kitchen and common spaces were large enough to fit us all comfortably even with the kids running around. The kitchen was well equipped with double ovens, large gas stove, plenty of prep space and working dishwasher. The backyard was a fun place for snow play. Check in and check out were easy. Overall we had a blast and would stay here again.

We rented the property the week before Christmas. The kitchen was well supplied. My only suggestion would be to have some Kleenex in the bathrooms and a spare roll of paper towels. Other than that, I do not have one complaint. We even got snow!

Stayed here for our family vacation. Loved that there was room to accommodate all of us, especially around the dinner table. The house had everything that we needed. The host was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Thanks so much for letting us stay in your home!

We were fortunate enough to enjoy a winter wonderland while staying at this beautiful home. The kitchen is large and well stoked making it easy to cook our meals. The location is wonderful and the backyard opens up to the golf course. This gave us plenty of room to enjoy the snow!. The house was in great shape and is spacious and relaxing. When the kids were tired of the snow we had great fun playing foosball. This will be a repeat location for us.

We loved our stay at this big, beautiful, well appointed mountain home in a wonderful location! 7 of us came for Christmas and we hosted 5 more local Truckee family members Christmas Day and twice for dinners around the massive dining table!! It’s an easy drive into town and there are fabulous walks and hikes right from the front door, not to mention beautiful views. We had one question while we were there and the Host was very responsive. I’d love to go back in the Summer some day! Thank you for a lovely stay!!

The house was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The size was perfect and worked well for our group. Unfortunately, the owner notified us immediately before we arrived that the gas fireplace wasn’t working. Not only was this disappointing because we were looking forward to using it, the power went out for 12 hours and we had no heat source, so the house became very cold. In the same communication, the owner also notified us that one of the ovens wasn’t available because it has a cracked door. This was also inconvenient because we were cooking for 10 people and really needed both ovens. Overall we did have a wonderful time but it would have been nice if these things were fixed before our arrival.

We spent our weekend here during a winter storm and it felt like a winter wonderland! The house and backyard was spacious and we didn’t have to drive to enjoy the snow. The only issue we had was that there were droppings from rodents in the house. We messaged the owner and she was very responsive and apologetic and stated that she would have an exterminator come out as soon as possible. It wasn’t a huge deal to us, however others may feel differently about the situation.

Tahoe/Donner!!!
Absolutely beautiful area perfect to enjoy outdoor adventures and find time to relax with family and friends. The home is spacious and clean! Large kitchen with great amenities. Close to Donner Lake, Lake Tahoe, and a ton of great hiking and biking trails. We had an incredible week and we will definitely look to come back!!!

Beautiful and spacious home with wonderful amenities!
The home was perfect for our small group. The kitchen is large and fully stocked. We used the neighborhood tennis courts, pool and lakeside club. We hope to return!

You can't beat the location, beauty, cleanliness and overall experience of this property. Donner ski area was just 4mins drive. Boreal and SugarBowl were about 15-20mins away. Definitely a place to revisit.

Lovely home and neighborhood.
The neighborhood was nice to walk through. The kitchen was well stocked with tools to cook. The downstairs was a little chilly, the fireplace was a welcomed feature and made a cozy feeling to the house. The upstairs carpet was quite dirty. The living room was super cozy. We were thankful for the large dining table to eat at one end and do a puzzle at the other. Lots of counter space made meal prep and serving a breeze. Lovely home overall!

The cabin is spacious and has an open floor plan. It’s excellent for a family gathering. It’s well equipped and has everything you’ll need for your stay. The location is within a short distance to downtown Truckee, Reno, or Lake Tahoe.
A couple of things to improve/consider:
1. There is no TV in the living room
2. The house has no AC. If the weather is hot, you’ll feel it upstairs

The cabin is spacious and has an open floor plan. It’s excellent for a family gathering. It’s well equipped and has everything you’ll need for your stay. The location is within a short distance to downtown Truckee, Reno, or Lake Tahoe.
