Our ages range from 20-60. Our skiing is avid despite we are from Louisiana. We all have been skiing for 30 plus years. This ski in ski out listing was quite deceiving. I say this because there is no exclusive path to leave the deck or arrive to the deck. There was a make shift ungroomed path which was so deep to walk and was about 40 yards uphill to descending hill. Then on the return to the condo was a narrow slippery rough with deep ruts. Our group can ski very well. However each one of us fell in this area each and every day. Twice daily. We made videos of our navigation struggles if Vrbo or owners are interested in viewing. Needless to say we won’t be staying at Sitzmark condos again next year. The hot water tank also needs a size upgrade. A few of us had to take cold showers. Lastly. The signage on the building is very difficult to find during the day and at night. We did love the purgatory area. We have just stayed at nicer ski in ski out rentals. This was our 4 th year there and we plan on returning next year.

The rooms were very comfortable, but it was a trek to the main floor for the person in the downstairs bunk room. It's 3 flights to the main floor. The only recommendation I would make is upgrading the lamps. It was very dim in the great room and top floor bedroom. Ski in/Ski out wasn't as convenient as some in our group would have liked.

Close to everything we needed and was very well kept. Just a note, the water tap on the fridge doesn't stop sometimes.

The condo was clean, comfortable, very well decorated/furnished and has a great evening view. It's a little tricky to locate but, in the end, well worth the effort. Very nice property with a reasonable rate for the large size. A+ experience!

This was a great property, but we were not aware it was a 3 story condo. We had a toddler and two adults with hip and back issues. The up and down on the stairs wasn’t bad, just not convenient. The property was well stocked and homey!

The place was nice overall except we brought our side by sides to go riding up in Silverton and we stopped up by the condo to unload our luggage and the neighbor in the corner was very rude and reported us to the resort saying we were parked up by the condo and were threatened with a fine. There were little things like the blender in the kitchen did not work and we needed more towels, steps were killer when brining up our luggage and groceries but the back patio was Awesome. There were Tv’s in all the rooms which was nice and beds were comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay here. Love the ski in location. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. We will definitely be back!

This has to be our favorite condo up at Purgatory Resort! Best location right on the mountain for a true ski In experiance! Super cozy place with everything we could need supplied from cooking utensils to sleds and fire wood! Beautiful place with a lot of great decor. 100% recommend unless your planning on having a lively night, we did get in trouble for being loud late in night (i think we need a house next time!) Thank You So Much!!

Everything was as advertised.

The townhouse was perfect for what we needed: a large space upstairs to feed everyone, and enough rooms we all had a place to sleep. The sleds available and the snow right outside were great for entertaining all the kids (and most of the adults who joined in).

Place was just as advertised. Clean and spacious, could bike or trail run out the backdoor, pool and hot tub a 3min walk away. Had a great stay - thanks!

No complaints for this property, everything worked out great for our party of seven.

Beautiful condo with updated appliances. Had everything we needed. Definitely ski in, right to the back door. To get out we had to walk a short distance, but not too bad. There are a lot of stairs and 3 levels, if you have older guests, which we did, we had to put them on the top level with the kitchen and living area, so that they didn't have to take stairs too often. Other than that, plenty of room, nice kitchen, nice furniture. Would stay there again.

Wonderful place just not able to ski out. Had to walk up to the slope to ski out. When snow was too deep had to walk down the road to slopes. Was able to ski in to location.

Management company was extremely responsive and answered questions almost immediately. The property is on a very steep slope and can be very difficult to get to without chains if there is a lot of snow. I also would not consider it ski in/out. It is at the bottom of a black run to ski in and you have to walk up the slope quite a ways before you can ski out. Would definitely rent from this management company again, just maybe not this unit.

The condo was very clean and had most all the kitchen utensils we needed to prepare our dinner. We enjoy the Purgatory Lodge, skiing was a little sketchy due to the lack of early snow fall in Colorado. But the area was beautiful and we enjoyed the drive to Silverton and some light hiking. Durango is only 25 miles and enjoy walking around town and sampling the breweries. I would stay here again it was a great place.

The views from the living room are absolutely stunning and we were fortunate to catch the leaves as they were turning for the fall. The kitchen is well-equipped and provided everything we needed to prepare the food we brought for our breakfasts and dinners, including a crock pot. The layout was perfect for us, as well. Having an infant with a bedtime around 8, it can be difficult to enjoy a gathering of adults for fear of keeping her awake. However, the bunk bed room, which is located on the ground floor, allowed enough space to set up her portable crib and monitor. The living room / kitchen / master are on the third floor, so there is a two story buffer that allowed us to watch tv, play games, and talk at a normal level into the late hours of the night without disturbing the little one. There is a trail located behind the condo, accessed from the back patio, which we used exclusively for traveling to and from the village. However, due to the uphill trek from the village, this particular path would not be ideal with snow on the ground; although, it's a pleasant hike when dry. The condominium was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. We will rent this unit, again, if available on our next trip and recommend it to anyone who can handle the stairs.

The ski ski out was a bit tricky for the young ones but we managed. The information sheet says 4 bathrooms but there were only two full baths and two half baths. A bit misleading. Property Management company was AWESOME and always responded immediately if I had any questions about the condo or any Durango activities! There was plenty of snow right outside our back door for our kids to have snow play, and even were able to make a sledding hill on the side of the condo! My family and I had a wonderful Christmas in Durango and would HIGHLY recommend staying at this property. BEAUTIFUL VIEW TOO! Thank you for providing a MAGICAL Christmas for my family....skiing, snowboarding, sleigh rides, dog sledding, Polar Express and a beautiful condo. What could be better? ;)
