Diane’s lovely home is clean, comfortable and thoughtfully stocked with pretty much everything you might need. Add to that the magnificent location right on the water, spectacular views and proximity to great food trucks, restaurants and beaches and you have 5 stars! Diane’s communication before and during our stay was timely and kind also. We plan to come back as soon as we can!

Wow! We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is lovely and private - the back lanai was a perfect place to sit and sip coffee, listening to the waves roll in. The rental was immaculately clean when we arrived. We appreciated the location--not too close to busy Honolulu but close to lots of beaches that aren't overcrowded. Food trucks abound! The nearby Polynesian Cultural Center provided an exceptional day of entertainment and information. Our only minor complaint is that two of the bedrooms overlook the busy road and had a fair amount of road noise.

Wonderful location in Oahu. House was perfect for our group. Ocean access in the backyard provided a beautiful view and was much used by the kids.

The property was amazing. The views and water access were just what we hoped for. Everyone was comfortable in the space and we had everything we needed. We were amazed from the moment we stepped in and were sad to see our stay end. It was incredible. We love the area and the north shore vibe. Mahalo!

The home is gorgeous, looks exactly like the pictures. Diane is an excellent host! She was easy to communicate with, replied to my texts quickly, and provided me with up-to-date information within minutes. Her home was well stocked with everything we needed to get started and then some. Starbucks coffee supply was a pleasant surprise. There was a power outage on our 2nd day due to a storm and she had everything we needed to use the grill and cook our breakfast! (we purchased food already) Amazing! My only concern, the drive to Honolulu is a 30 minute plus drive due to lots of traffic. I would also suggest putting tv's in all bedrooms. We all felt comfortable and safe in her home and enjoyed our stay. We would stay in her home again. Thank you for making our vacation awesome.

Great spot. Owner communicated quickly, except for one night where we unfortunately had an issue with a light fixture that wouldn't turn off. Didn't hear back from the manager or owner until the next morning., which was not the norm. Lots of space to spread out. Great yard. As other have said, lots of road noise. My daughter (14) fell down the beach stairs to the water. They are VERY slippery. She fell down the last 3 stairs into the water and was scraped and bruised. Luckily, she didn't break anything or hit her head, which she easily could have. We went down the stairs on our behinds for the whole trip. There should be a hand hold or it should be closed off; at very least a sign. There is a warning of them being slippery, but it's in the property info book, which we didn't (and most people don't) look over right away. It's very scary to have your child fall down the stairs within the first 10 minutes. She refused to go down the stairs for several days because she was so scared. We had to reschedule her surf lesson for the next day because her heel was so bruised she couldn't put weight on it. Those stairs are a HUGE liability. The beach a few houses down is lovely. There is plenty of beach toys and water shoes to use. There are quite a few delicious food trucks nearby. The water shut off for about 12 hours because of a broken water main down the road, but owners kept us in the loop of what they found out was going on and even brought us water. Overall, a great place. The road noise and very dangerous stairs are why I deducted a star.

There is much to enjoy in the details of the decor and the ocean is your backyard. Watching the turtles was fascinating. You are close to many popular snorkeling areas, especially Turtle Bay. This was a great base for our vacation. Its central location on the north shore made for an easy trip to many of the island's sites. The beds were great and being on the surf gave us the chance to rest on the beach without traveling at all.

The property was perfect and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked, and it was nice to be able to use the beach towels, boogie, boards, sand, toys, fishing poles, and snorkel gear. Even the showers had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Very thoughtful. We would stay again! Thank you Diane.

Located along the main highway, so it is a bit busy with traffic sounds, but makes it easy to drive anywhere we wanted. Relaxing and private backyard that leads directly to the ocean. It had everything convenient with bags, toilet paper, shampoo etc - we just needed to show up and enjoy. The house is located on the north shore, so enjoying local life was easy. Another review mentioned you could hear road noise - and due to the side of the island you are on - there really are no ocean-side locations where this would not be the case. It was not intrusive and the ocean side crashing of the waves was far more symphonic and dominated our stay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Staying here at this beautiful home on the North Shore was the perfect way for us to bond as a family and to explore Oahu. The first level master bedroom was a dream as it opens up to the back patio and the gorgeous Pacific Ocean. I woke up at 5:30am each morning to catch the 6:am sunrise. Even my 12 year old daughter woke up and watched the sunrise with me - her on the hammock and me on one of the 4 lounge chairs. My daughter really took to that hammock! My 15 year old son was so excited to walk down the steps into the shallow waters. He doesn't get excited for much these days, except for sneakers and video games, so this was great to witness! We used your reef shoes, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, and beach toys. Thank you so much for having these for us. We also used your outdoor shower daily to wash the sand off before entering the house. So convenient and helped keep the house feeling clean during our stay. Your binder of recommendations were very helpful. Breakfast to-go at Kaya's Kitchen was delicious as was lunch from Shrimp Lovers Truck. I would add one more luau to your list - The Nutridge Experience in Honolulu. It's a very intimate backyard feel kind of luau. Very different form the large luaus we've been to in the past. My family loved it! On our last night on Oahu we set up a beautiful dinner on the back patio during sunset with local Hawaiian music playing from our phone. We grabbed Loco Moco for the kids, Garlic Shrimp for the adults, and cut up a pineapple and dragon fruit from Foodland. Delicious! After dinner we unstrung our flower leis we made earlier in the week and released them into the ocean as we expressed our gratitude for this trip and for Hawaii. It was such a memorable last night and your home set the stage for us and made it possible. Deep mahalo from our ohana to yours!

The place was beautiful, nice locations with a great access to the water, clean and just a perfect place to stay. The check-in was easy. The kitchen had a great setup. with a full set of plates, cookware, coffee makers, bottle openers, can openers it had much of the stuff that is often overlooked that you need. A good selection of spices and trash bags.
