The perfect place to spend a few days with family. There was plenty of activities to do indoors as we vacationed during December. There was a pool table, 2 poker tables, shuffle board table as well as a very large table for everyone (18 of us) to sit and play board games as well as to eat together. The kitchen was very big with plenty of cooking space and an ice machine. Evenings were cozy with 2 fireplaces and plenty of comfy chairs and recliners. The host provided plenty of towels and blankets as well. The outdoor deck was massive with lots of seating; although we did not use it due to the cold weather. We did use one of the three available outdoor grills. The only negative comment is due to our trip being in the off-season, the closest store was closed for the season and we had to drive 20 minutes to buy milk. Also, one bathroom had a finicky lock that had to be jostled to lock and unlock, which may be tricky for kids. Overall, a wonderful place to spend a family vacation. I would like to try this place during the spring or summer.

We rented Cool Goose Landing because we live in small house and didn't have the room to host a big Thanksgiving for our family. This place was amazing. It felt like a resort that we had all to ourselves but it also felt like a home ready to make us comfortable and ready to enjoy our family. Everything was perfect. There is plenty of space. The accomodations were above our expectations. The only warning I can offer to winter guests is.....be sure to bring a snuggly blanket and warm coat because you will definitely want to be out by the fire pits at night. You will want to be outside even if its cold! But when you come in, you will enjoy the fire place. Also, be ready to make family memories playing pool and shuffleboard with family. I have never laughed so hard and enjoyed my adult kids so much. The kitchen is to die for. There is almost 2 of everything including stoves and microwaves. I hope to be scheduling Cool Goose Landing for a wedding in the future. It seems like the perfect place for a wedding. Our host family was very open to any need or question that we might have. This is only my second VRBO rental but all future rentals will have a huge bill to fill in my book.

We had a friends and family gathering to celebrate my husband’s retirement from the Navy. Everyone was so impressed with the house and surrounding!! We could it have picked a better place. Everything was wonderful!!

We absolutely LOVED Cool Goose Landing from the first time we saw the listing and it was perfect for our small intimate wedding ceremony! Everyone commented about how beautiful the setting was and the back deck, converted garage, and kitchen were perfect for our needs. We had 35 people there for our ceremony, but you could easily have 45/50 people in attendance. The owners are also super helpful!

It is impossible to put into words how much we enjoyed our trip to Cool Goose Landing. From the host, Buddy and Amy, to the house itself, we truly felt at home due to the kindness and accommodations provided. The home has everything you can imagine, and I could spend the rest of my life sitting on the incredible decks. There is so much room inside and out, and our group of 15 had more than enough room for sleeping and hanging out. We rented a boat for the weekend, and our driver was easily able to pull up to the dock. The golf cart made loading and unloading our bags to and from the dock a breeze. We would love to make this an annual trip and hope to bring our families back to Cool Goose Landing. Thank you so much, Buddy and Amy, for opening your beautiful home and making us feel like it was our own!

We hosted a small wedding here, and it was an absolutely perfect venue and place! Everyone kept saying how amazing the view was!

Plenty of room for several families. Beautiful outdoor space with plenty of seating. Enjoyed using the golf cart to the lake and back.

For the second year in a row, we have rented Cool Goose Landing for the weekend and hosted pur family reunion there on Saturday. CHL provides excellent accommodations for such an event. We had guests from 11 months to 95 years of age! The kitchen is a great size and equipped for large groups and there is something to do for everyone! Looking forward to next year.

This is a wonderful property in a great location. It had all the accommodations for our group of 14 with plenty of space to relax and enjoy our stay. We will definitely be back to Cool Goose Landing in the future!

We had a family reunion, and everyone had an enjoyable time. Our favorite parts were: 1. Multi-level deck with sound system and lights 2. Garage/dining room which we used as a game room 3. GREAT kitchen (with large ice maker)!!! We also loved the flexibility of the owners as they worked with our group! The drawbacks that we encountered were sticky kitchen/dining room floors, a lack of cleaning supplies (think overflowing toilet...), a smoke detector with a dead battery (think random, intermittent beeping that sent us on a search), and an outdated first-aid box. Also, the substantial required deposit took a full two weeks after check-out to be returned. Note: We have been told that, unfortunately, this is not something that the owners have control over. We would definitely recommend Goose Creek Landing - especially for large groups. Summertime would be ideal as it is right on the water!

My family and I had a great time, amazing kitchen with everything you can think of in it. Amazing back deck with more seating than a restaurant with great views.

I can't tell you how much this place was complimented by friends. This place had it all. If you get bored it's at your own fault. We've already been trying to think of another event we could have just so we can go stay at this amazing place. The host is amazing! The location is very secluded but wonderful.

Cool Goose Landing is an excellent place to enjoy fellowship with family or friends. It has spacious rooms inside and an unbelievable deck area. It is located where you feel like you are hidden from others yet you are close to 2 great marinas if you are looking to enjoy the water. It is furnished with everything you need in the kitchen too! Absolute awesome place to stay!

We rent a lot of cabins and always like to try new places to stay. This is one that we will be going back to! Great location on the water and our family never lacked for anything to do no matter the age. One of the best supplies kitchen and overall accommodations that I have ever seen. Cool Goose Landing is equipped with everything you need for cooking and entertainment. The location is very private with amazing views of the lake. The water was a bit shallow for swimming off the dock, but we were able to rent a pontoon boat just around the corner from Pfizer Point Marina. If you are looking for a spacious and well appointed place for a getaway… Cool Goose Landing is the place to go!

We loved the fact that we could all spread out if we wanted to or all be in the same area if we wanted. There was 20 of us and we all had plenty of space! Beautiful place to stay!!

My family had the best time ever. The house was fantastic with lots of room and activities. The kitchen was definitely the hub of the house. We loved and enjoyed the outside deck. The deck was so big we did t even use all of it. We will definately come back again.

Place was great. Plenty of area to spread out but also nice areas to be all together. Loved it. Great for paddle boards and kayaks.

What an incredible property. It had everything we could have needed for a bachelor party. Plenty of space for games, drinking, and relaxing. Plenty of fridge and freezer space. The commercial coffee maker and ice maker were cherries on top. Close access to the marina. Will definitely try and stay here again.

This was an amazing property! Thank you for making it available. We had 10 people in attendance for a work retreat. The space was perfect for group sessions and also getting some "alone time". The location was beautiful - surrounded by trees and relaxing. All the outdoor spaces, the game room, the kitchen, etc. I would say this property is better than described in the rental description. I wish we could have stayed longer and I would like to visit again. Thanks!

Awesome place and accommodations! We were blown away at just how awesome this rental was.

15-20 of us guys have been on our fishing trip now for 10 years and this place tops them all. For the fisherman, it was right next to marina within 3 minutes down the road for your boats. It also had plenty of shoreline fishing as well with a dock. For the party bunch, there is non stop fun, shuffle board, pool table, two large TVs, and plenty plenty of room to sit and relax. The main thing everyone enjoyed was the kitchen!!! One huge walk-in sized fridge. Two ovens two microwaves two dish washers two stove tops including a griddle top. The outside has two huge gas grills and one large pellet grill! So much space to serve that the pictures don’t do it just. The owner Buddy was the coolest! He was there to great us and made sure we had a good f$&king time!!!

This property was fantastic! When you first arrive, you will realize it’s even bigger than you thought. So many activities on site and plenty of space. There are two of almost everything on site! Two microwaves, ovens, poker tables, grills, etc. We really enjoyed sitting in the garage room with the doors up during the day. Buddy was also an excellent communicator and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we need. They are also constantly upgrading the property so that it keeps up with what guests like. You won’t regret this rental.

We used this awesome property for a bachelor party and it was perfect! So much outdoor space to enjoy with all the amenities. Very clean, great location on the lake and in proximity to golf courses. Best part about this property is the owners. Buddy was awesome to work with and made the process very easy. Great person to work with. We will be back!
