The owner was very accommodating and super helpful. The location is perfect, a very short drive to Haleiwa. The beach is private and accessible with a short stairway. Beautiful view and you can hear the waves all night. The bed is super comfy!! We woke up feeling refreshed every morning. We really enjoyed the space and highly recommend it!!

A great stay and a great family. Cant say enough about the property and our host. Location of the house is perfect. Steps to the beach. Quick drive into town for some of our Haleiwa food and coffee favorites. If there were a 6th Star available for this review I'd still add another. Thank you Robert and family for the great stay!

Wowowowow we had such a wonderful stay at Robert's place. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for a spot on the north shore. The location is incredible, the unit is super comfortable, and Robert was a great host. We will (hopefully) be back again soon!

I couldn't imagine a better location to stay. It was perfect in every way, and Robert and his family were so welcoming. Our daughter loved playing with their kids in the backyard.

After reading all of the reviews on this place I was really excited to arrive. I had really high expectations prior to arriving. However I was actually blown away once I was on site. The pictures don’t do it Justice. The perfect place for a semi private get away. Can’t wait to come back. Neal was helpful and attentive. If you are traveling with a group of friends this might not be the place for you. But if you are looking for a romantic place for yourself and significant other then look no further you have found it.

This was the most amazing property. Right on the beach, gorgeous views from backyard. Gazebo in the backyard that is 2 levels. Great for watching sunset or having a nice meal. Neal was a fantastic host and was great with communicating with me. This is a great area less than 10 min to the fabulous Waimea Bay. Less then 10 minutes to Haleiwa with restaurants and shopping. It’s the North Shore! Turtles everywhere. I highly recommend this property. We will back.

Our stay was amazing, our host was the best, available beach chairs and beach umbrella were so nice as we traveled to sunset beach and Waimea and it was nice having these. Our studio was clean very nice and prefect,y suited to our needs. We had a nice quiet beautiful place to come back to each day from exploring the North shore. Great beds, nice excellent bathroom, nice A/c.

We loved this property. It was in a beautiful tropical neighborhood on North Shore and the studio was cute, clean and had everything we needed. Our host was very nice and helpful too. The bed was comfortable and we loved going to sleep at night to the sounds of the waves. I sincerely hope we can stay here again!

We had a slight problem with the way the place had been cleaned but once we notified Robert he quickly took steps to rectify the situation. He and his family had been away but still took care of it. Everything was exactly like it looks in the pictures and you can’t beat the location! Great place.

This trip was a special one for my mom, son and I and Neal’s home made it perfect. We loved the privacy and proximity to the beach. It was perfection.

My husband and I had a wonderful vacation at Neal's studio rental! The bed was very comfortable, the unit was clean and felt spacious due to the high ceilings. We ate breakfast every morning on the elevated gazebo overlooking the ocean. We never needed to use the air conditioner. The ceiling fan and breeze through the windows kept the unit at a perfect temperature, and we loved hearing the waves through the open windows. We saw sea turtles feeding along the reefs by the shoreline, and a turtle even came on shore for a few minutes for a perfect photo op! Beach chairs, an SUP, surfboards, boogie boards, beach towels, lounge chairs, a hammock, a firepit, a covered patio and an elevated gazebo were all included. The panoramic views of the ocean, and the sunset views, from the backyard and patio were amazing. The beach was uncrowded, and the ocean was a perfect temperature - in the upper 70's. We are definitely looking forward to returning to this amazing property!

This was the perfect place for our week on the North Shore. Robert was a great host and the studio had everything we needed for our stay. We loved to hear the ocean at night and walk out onto the very quiet beach n the morning and sometimes see turtles. Highly recommended!

Cozy spot right in the ocean. Quiet spot with spectacular views and easy access to the beach. We were able to have breakfast on the beach everyday while watching the worlds best surfers and sea turtles.

The ground level studio is attractive and well maintained. We totally enjoyed our stay, not minding that we were sharing the outdoor areas with another set of renters and the owner's family as all were lovely. If complete privacy is desired, this might not be the best place for you. There is limited public parking and public access nearby, so the beach in front of the house feels private. In fact our first day there we found a big turtle snoozing on the beach and a few days later a large monk seal doing the same. The ocean during our late March stay still felt too rough for us to swim in, though the nearby surfers seemed happy.

It doesn’t get any better than this in Hawaii location wise. Absolutely an outstanding stay. I lived in Hawaii for 5 years and seriously this location is unbeatable.

The cottage is located steps to the private pink sand beach, where you can see green sea turtles on the beach & whales jumping in the ocean. The cottage is immaculately clean, kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook a nice meal, and the bed is super comfy. There is ac if it gets too hot but we preferred to leave the windows open so we could hear the ocean & get the cross breeze. Beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, & beach towels are all provided for a day at the beach. Town of Halewia only few minutes away with great restaurants & shopping. Robert and his family were very accommodating hosts & super great people. Five star property & highly recommend. Thank you Robert & family for an awesome stay & can't wait to come back soon! This stay was more than we could have hoped for! We slept with the windows open and heard the waves crashing all night. Less than 25 yards from our door through the yard straight onto a beautiful pristine beach. Super comfy mattress and pillows; kitchen has everything but a cooktop, but we worked around that easily enough. Lovely decorations inside the apartment and a backyard with a grill, hammock, beach chairs, scuba gear and a marvelous two story gazebo. Just wonderful! We will come back and stay at this amazing property on the North Shore again for sure!

Incredible location, a quiet beautiful beach. A nice cozy place…..exactly like the pictures. Had everything we needed. Robert was great…..would definitely stay there agin and recommend it to anyone.

This property was absolutely perfect. The tall ceilings made a small space look much larger. All amenities that we needed were included. It says stove but it’s really a hot plate, no big deal. Sounds of the ocean waves from the open windows were amazing. We are breakfast every morning in the two story gazebo. Turtles are within beach walking distance. Beautiful sunsets and rainbows. Quiet even with the property owners children onsite. A short distance to downtown Haleiwa.

Had a cocktail at sunset in the backyard overlooking the beach & ocean every night. Apartment is well equipped & bed very comfortable. Neil was very helpful. Enjoyed our stay.

The unit is more than adequate. The high ceilings make the space feel bigger. The beach is beautiful with not many other people.

After staying in another location for seven years we moved here. As with any move there are concerns. This property turned out to be more than we could have wanted. Location, beach & hospitality of host can’t be beat! Perfect North Shore vibe, love it here! Will be back ASAP!!!

If you are looking for a spot right on the beach, look no further! We loved the studio! Comfortable bed and the AC was perfect. Saw turtles on the beach and watched the sunset in the backyard each night. Space was clean, had everything we needed and laundry too. Thank you Neal! We will be back!

This is a great studio apartment, facilities as described. Loft fine for 2 children. Kitchen worked great for us - cooktop is a hotplate, but high end toaster/oven/broiler, microwave and coffee maker were all we needed. The room is ocean front so we could hear the waves all night, beautiful beach. Owner was welcoming, always answered questions promptly. Great location to watch for sea turtles.
