Some furniture could use replaced such as the upstairs sun room chairs. The new table in the kitchen was perfect for our family. However the chairs were so uncomfortable . The beds are comfortable.
The house could use a good deep cleaning. Let’s just say I left it much cleaner than I found it. We did not use the back yard much. It was extremely buggy outback. Overall good experience.

The pool is very small. the furniture in the house was very dirty. We had cockroaches/woodroaches or Water bugs that look like Roaches everywhere. We told them about it but noone called us back.

Great location to beach . Great floor plan for a large group. House needs some repairs & updates . Floor in master and kitchen needs repaired badly. Backyard terrible , rickety fenced in area needs torn down. Housekeeping could do a better job cleaning. Pool small but nice! Plenty of cookware and dishes.

Renting this property through VRBO and Owner Direct was very easy. After hours/weekend check-in and check-out was very convenient and easy. The house was as described. The pool was a bit smaller than expected from the pictures, but it was adequate for 3 or 4 people at a time. The walk to the beach was easy and the dairy bar down the street was fabulous! We would definitely stay here again.

The location of this property is great. That and the pool were the ONLY reasons this place is getting what we feel is 3.5 stars. We've stayed at several VRBO's and this place is managed by a separate company- maybe that's where it goes wrong... We are not super-picky travelers. It was our family of 4 (boys ages 2 & 4) and another couple with their 5 year old son. The pool out front was awesome (although smaller). The beds were comfy to sleep on. HOWEVER- the pictures online need to be updated. There is no couch downstairs. For some reason a second table was in the "living room". The bedrooms are essentially old dining rooms/offices with a bed in them. The floors creaked TERRIBLY as they need to be redone. We found there was no silverware, garbage bags for the bathrooms, dish soap, toiletries of any kind except a small bar of "body soap". There were also no baking sheets and the sink had no garbage disposal- and the ice machine didn't work. We like to cook and this was all very discouraging. The management company did come to give us silverware. They fixed a TV that stopped working but even after the fix a majority of the channels did not work. Most rental houses these days have those items standard but the management company said they were "starter kits" where you only get towels and linens essentially. They should step up their game. For a management company to charge extra for their fees I was expecting a little more. When most private owners have this ready for travelers when they arrive. All that being said. We enjoyed the location, the walks to the beach and ice cream shop. Our boys played in the pool and we had a good time. I just felt very misled for paying the price we did to get such poor amenities. I hope this helps you know what you're getting into prior to booking so you can go prepared.

Check in and Check out was simple and quick. If I had any recommendations it would be nice to have a nice grill large enough to accommodate guest size of the house- we didn't use the back patio much since not grilling and the back yard was pretty much just dirt.
Location is great and the company worked well with a rental company for golf carts and equipment for a baby! Beautiful area!

My family and I had a wonderful vacation! The house is simply beautiful. It’s spacious, comfortable and elegantly decorated. It was very clean and had everything we could possibly need. It’s in a great location. Just a short drive to the main strip which has everything, from fine dining to fast food. I am now in love with North Myrtle Beach. The staff at the management company made everything so easy for us. It was very reassuring to know they were there if we needed anything. I have recommended this house to my friends and family and will definitely be staying here again. Thanks to all for a great vacation!

Where do I start. Our family, we had a awesome time on our vacation with the help of your beautiful home. I must say the bed in the picture is the most comfortable, I know this because that is where I slept. The house was spacious and everyone that came gave nice compliments on the house.The location has a good view of the beach and while sitting on the front porch you are able to see all the tourists entering on 17th avenue. I was skeptical when I booked the property; however, that feeling disappeared when I turned the key and opened the door and saw such a lovely place. My nieces all raced to to get the best room that would suite their family. Of course it was upstairs where they resided for the week. We called it the pink room, and it was so pretty with comfortable chairs and a view of the beach was just lovely. While we were there the owners' son stopped by and informed us that they may be installing a pool, which was great news to hear, being that they want to stay at this location anytime we vacation at the beach. To top our stay, we rented a golf cart for the week and it really came in handy. So, you can look forward for the Colvins' to stay in contact with VRBO. See you next year....Sincerely, Robin
