We had a great time staying at this cabin. Had everything we needed and the lake was awesome.

Maple Cottage is not only absolutely adorable, but we feel it has the most gorgeous views on Maple Lake. We were truly wowed! Each morning we would awake to the mist rising off the lake and a little old man puttering around the lake in his fishing boat. The cottage was very well equipped. It had a washer and dryer, dishwasher, great kitchen layout, a window air conditioner in the living area, an occilating fan, and heating. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom, and in the kitchen you will find a big refrigerator, toaster and coffee maker. Most of all -- a flat screen TV (not streaming, but live TV) and INTERNET! What blew us away is the decor inside and outside of the cottage. There are antiques and vintage items everywhere. We LOVED the huge screened porch with a picnic table that seats 8, a futon and rocking chairs. Parking accommodations were great. The property itself is awesome -- a deck with grill, a fire pit with lots of seating, a dock with a pontoon boat and canoe, solar outdoor lighting, another seating area adjacent to the dock. The decor will blow you away, inside and outside. The flowers everywhere outdoors were so lovely. We could not get over all of the vintage treasures and antiques in the themes of maple leaves, ducks and fishing. There are even beach towels with the boat's name, Miss Maple, embroidered on them. Maple Cottage is a great getaway, only a couple of blocks from downtown Paw Paw. Highly recommended!!!!

We had a great time. The cottage was stocked and clean. Great host with good communication. Lots of dining choices within walking distance. We highly recommend “La Cantina” Italian restaurant.

We had a great stay at Maple Leaf cabin. The flowers and cabin were beautiful and the lake location was so peaceful. We would love to come back, Thanks Shawn for a lovely vacation experience.

We just had one of the best, most relaxing vacations ever! The house is small but has everything you need. The screened in porch is awesome, the view is unreal. Saw herons, an osprey, and a bald Eagle while on the lake! Wineries and a brewery only blocks away. Fantastic water pressure in the shower and a nice Weber grill (what a great touch). Just great!

The cabin has every need one could ask for in a vacation rental. The views of the lake are the best. The screened in porch allowed us to enjoy the outdoors even when it rained. The proximity to great food was an unexpected pleasure.

The wife and I and our dog stayed for four nights. Everything was great. We also rented the pontoon which we used everyday. Grilled and had bonfires. Highly recommend.

The place was absolutely amazing! Everything matched perfectly! Clean, hot water, good shower, very small bed. You only need to bring your toiletries, clothes and food. I loved having the vacuum, washer/dryer, dishwasher, cleaning supplies, herb garden, pontoon and screened in porch was awesome! Nothing but beautiful nature, peace and happiness! ...if you can't do stairs, it's not a good option, we carried our 80# dog because he's elderly and can't use the stairs to get to the boat and dock, but otherwise it was perfect for everyone. I can't wait to return. The sofa bed is very uncomfortable though and the bed in the bedroom is comfortable, yet very small. The futon on the porch is nice!

This is a wonderful place to stay. The cabin is fully equipped with everything that is needed. The location is peaceful and quiet. The screened in porch is awesome and a great place to enjoy meals and the scenery. One of the best things about it are the magnificent views of the lake. If you feel the need to just getaway, this is a great place for that. This place truly makes for an amazing vacation. I highly recommend this rental and plan to return.

The screened in porch was a great place to relax. The cabin has a wonderful view of the lake. We took the pontoon boat (Miss Maple) out several times. There was a town wide festival going on. We went to the Old Car Show. We saw fireworks right out the back door of the cabin. We sat by the fire pit a couple of evenings and soaked in the view. We had a great time!

We had a great time in the Michigan weather, playing golf, boating and taking side trips. Propedty was convenient to everything we wanted.

We liked everything about our 2 week stay at this charming little cabin. We spent most of our time on the screened in porch on the comfy couch -- reading, talking, and watching the swans (and babies), geese (and babies), ducks (and babies), and the wren who clearly had babies inside the little house on the fence. We had two groups of friends spend a day with us, and there were plenty of places to sit, inside, on the porch and 3 areas outside. All were charmed by the decor (mostly ducks and fish), and loved the view of the lake. Walking the dog around the neighborhood was interesting with a couple of historic homes with placards. Was even an easy walk into town if you wanted to go. We went into the town theater one night for a movie which was like a step back in time. Comfy seats, but small house and low price and lots to choose from at the snack bar. We will definitely go back again and highly recommend it whether for a weekend, a few days, or longer.

This cabin has the most beautiful view of Maple Lake. There is a 3 sided screened in porch where my husband, our dog, and myself sat and watched wild life and fellow boaters. We had a great week!

In May of 2022 , restful cosy cabin with a large screened porch that has likely the best view of Maple lake. Nice small town you could walk to. Though in our 60's we drive. Off the dock fishing brought a 36" Northern Pike, one large mouth Bass and five Sunnies and one Crappie though the Pike and the one Bass provided enough to eat for two evening meals. Even without catching fish, this is a nice choice we can come back too. Reading the log books ( Three ) of prior visitors that stayed was very enjoyable and spoke well of their stays here. Easy access info from owner, cost to use the cabins pontoon at their dock was reasonable and enjoyable. The canoe had no cost and a nice option for this lake. It was to windy our first to days for a campfire that has a awesome setting then to hot for the next two days. The A/C did well and placing the small fan there on the floor just outside the bedroom door pushes cold air into that room and the warmth out very nicely. The furnace heated cabin quickly on the 50 degree first night. The bed is a full size and about all the single bedroom could handle. I am 6 foot and my wife is 5'11 so we were close and our feet were at the end, however the bed was comfortable. We did not roll together in the middle so mattress is in good condition. Cabin has been well maintained a nice theme representing Maple Lake. Good memories.

We were very pleased with the cabin. Everything is as shown. While the weather did not cooperate, we did get the rest that was needed...

This cabin has a beautiful screened-in porch that looks directly at the lake. There is an overhead fan that cools the porch and because of some mature trees, it is always in the shade. Miss Maple, the pontoon boat is also loads of fun!

We had a great time. Used the pontoon and caught a bunch of fish. Walked downtown for free concert and local restaurant. Perfect view for unwinding in the evening.

Wonderful spot for two…and our cats. Great fishing right off the dock. Pontoon boat for lake cruising. Screened in porch was a kitty heaven for indoor cats to safely experience the outside world. Everything you need is available onsite, from firewood for the fire pit, to roasting sticks for marshmallows, to a Weber grill for outdoor cooking. Great little kitchen has everything you need to cook “at home”. Wonderful restaurant options if you don’t want to cook in Paw Paw and surrounds. Lots to do within minutes from free outdoor concert to wineries and breweries for tastings to blueberry picking. One of our most relaxing vacations ever!

Cabin is small but just right for 2 people. Sitting out on the enclosed porch was the best, beautiful view of the lake, nice and quiet, perfect for that morning coffee.

The cabin is quaint and cute. Very clean. Perfect location. Is stocked well. We enjoyed pontoon boat rides with friends and family here. Definite recommend.

I stayed there for a week and hands down it was the coolest lake house I've been to before. It's setup so every window in the house besides the back door, has a view of the lake! And the view it has is incredible. Neighbors are quiet and it's just all around a nice little spot. *****

Everything we could have possibly wanted was provided, including a fully stocked kitchen and firewood. The big screened-in porch overlooking the lake was so comfy and it was the perfect spot to read a book, drink a cocktail, or eat lunch. We loved having a fire pit available, and there was even wifi and cable so we could spend a rainy afternoon on the couch. This is such a great escape. Highly recommend.

First time visiting the Maple Lake cottage! The view of the lake was absolutely beautiful with the changing fall colors. Watching the family of swans from the screened in porch each morning was quite relaxing. Very comfortable, cozy cottage stocked with most everything you might need. Would love to visit again in the summer!

This was a cozy and quiet cottage, private but not isolated. We enjoyed our anniversary dinner of Amore Pizza and St Julian wine at the fire pit by Maple Lake. I would not be surprised if we return. Thanks for sharing the cottage with us!

We decided to come for the weekend with our dog. Loved the porch and view, exactly what we wanted for a short trip.
