I think an investment in AC in the main living area would be a help other wise we liked the villa.

Beautiful property!

This was an awesome place to book for our honeymoon. It was close to Cruz Bay but far enough away from the “city” that we felt isolated. I loved the views and the accommodations. The property management team was awesome and the home was well-kept.

We've stayed in the area before, and it truly is the best. It's about 5 mins from Cruz Bay, where we spent almost every day/night there. The house was perfect and had all the amenities we needed. The management company was great to work with and super quick to get back to us with questions we had. Our favorite part was sitting outside at the covered table, enjoying the sunrise and sunset.

Very nice villa that’s spacious and inviting. Great indoor and outdoor space.

Fabulous house with views and pool. Outdoor eating area was awesome. Taxis can’t make it to the house though which required a 15 minute walk for pick up.

This house did not disappoint. It had everything we needed and more! Beautiful views.

This was our first time to St John and definitely won't be our last. Samba Azul was the perfect house for our island vacation. It had all the amenities one could need while on vacation, both inside and out. Including all the beach gear, ( coolers, ice packs, chairs, umbrellas, towels Etc.. ) which made our daily beach outings and hikes that much easier not having to worry about buying or renting all of those things. The pool was an added bonus and a nice way to unwind after long days in the sun. The road to the house took a bit of getting used to, though not as rough as some other roads on the island. Get a good vehicle and go slow and all will be fine. Location is great, just 10 minutes from town and minutes from 1 of 3 markets. The neighborhood felt safe and JP from Miller properties was a great guy! You can't go wrong visiting St John or with your stay at Samba Azul! We can't wait to return! L&D

The road to the property is very bad. The Home Owners association is improving the road by paving sections of it. The road work cause us to get a flat tire. We were stuck with paying $275 for a new tire.

This place is a gem! We had 4 adults and were very comfortable in the space. The pool was awesome after a long day of hiking to the park. Reservation process was easy and I was grateful to the property manager for assisting us to get to the property. I highly recommend a Jeep, not just for the property but for getting around St. John in general. We loved the location as it was close to Cruz bay but located in a quiet area. Absolutely gorgeous!!

This was our second trip to Samba Azul and again it exceeded all expectations. It has everything you need in a house on St. John. Beach chairs, towels, and hair dryers are all things (and more) that you don't even have to worry about bringing! House is a split floor plan with each side having a master suite with an en suite bath. Powder room also. Great split unit ACs in each room. The view and the pool are incredible and were so nice to come home to after big days exploring and snorkeling. Checking in couldn't have been easier; same for check out. Love love love this house and the next time on St. John I'll definitely be at Samba Azul!

The property was as good as the listing showed. JP was always available for questions and suggestion and very helpful when we arrived. Close enough to really enjoy Cruz Bay but very secluded.

Upon our arrival at Samba Azul, we immediately took pictures of every room, the deck, pool and amazing views to send back to our families and friends—it is exactly how it is described in VRBO!!! James, the property manager, answered all questions we had prior to arrival. And Eric, a member of the team, was in communication with us when we got off the ferry and we followed him to the home in our rented Jeep. Wonderful home to return to after a day at the beach and take a refreshing dip in the pool. It is a comfortable home for two couples. We highly recommend this home to spend your vacation in St. John.

It was perfect for 2 couples. We liked the adventure of the drive to it, the view was great and the sunsets were fabulous. It was clean and the beds and linens were comfortable and soft. It was the most perfect Villa 😀.

My wife and I stayed 10 nights at Samba Azul and really loved it. The property is VERY nice. Plenty of space and privacy. The covered portion of patio was great to have along with the patios in the sun. Kitchen was well equipped. James was great to work with. The only problem we had is the microwave stopped working. James had one of his maintenance people there the next day and a new micro was installed the following day. Although we have had a couple of day trips to St. John previously, this was our first stay there. The beach / water activities are the biggest draw for us including snorkeling and sailing. I don't know where to find more beautiful beaches than St. John (and we've looked!). You will definitely want to rent a Jeep Wrangler (or similar). Roads on St. John are generally narrow, steep, and rough.

Great house for couples!

This is a wonderful home in a convenient and beautiful location. The house is well equipped with everything you’ll need: floats, towels, beach chairs, etc. and a fully stocked kitchen. It has 2 identical bedrooms with on-suite bathrooms and a 1/2 bath. The home is perfect for two couples, or a family with older children. I say older children because the veranda has steep, narrow steps leading to the pool and the pool is deep with no shallow end. The pool is approx. 7 feet deep all around. We will definitely stay here again. Everything from booking to checking out was easy with great communication from the property manager.
