We went to this beach house and it was so fun! 2 families 6 kiddos and sooo much room plus just walk down the stairs and you are in the sand! We would definitly come back!

Great location, love love the beach right as you walk down the stairs. the house was clean, plenty of room, beautiful sunsets. I celebrated my 65th Bday. Wonderful time with my family. Only complaint the barbeque pits needs to be replaced.

Right on the beach! You’ll need to bring everything - no condiments, bar soap, etc. it’d be nice to have some of these items there plus a mornings worth of coffee. But overall excellent stay

This place has SO much potential. Best way for me to explain is a pros & cons list. Pros: - LOCATION! Can’t be beat. Literally step off the porch to the ocean. This made the whole trip worth it. - Beach is very clean and smooth. - Pool table and poker set kept us entertained every night. Big plus. - 3 bathrooms is nice. - Lots of cookware provided! - Plenty of room to spread out. - Loved that we were able to have our dogs with us. - Obvious improvements have been made, and appreciated. Cons: - Furniture throughout is really not good. Mattresses are thin and metal bed frames are very creaky. Couches in living room are cheap and not comfortable for lounging. Bar stools are flimsy. One was already broken. I’m sure furniture gets used and abused in rental properties, but oof this was a struggle. - Multiple lamps were old and broken and couldn’t be turned on. - We struggled with internet and TV’s all week. There was an outage for a couple days that couldn’t be helped, but even after it came back on, none of the bedroom TV’s ever worked. Host wanted us to call Dish to get it fixed. - Hot water only lasts for about 10 minutes, so we had to space out showers. It worked for 4 of us, but if you had more people that would be frustrating. - It was tricky hauling luggage up all the steps without a handrail. All in all, we had a good time, and the location makes the cons worth it. It’s so close to being the perfect place to stay. A few more improvements and it would be there!

This house is located right on the beach. It is quite wonderful to sit on the deck with the beach just a staircase away. We really enjoyed our time there.

As compared to other VRBO properties we’ve stayed at, I would classify the property as adequate, not luxurious. The TV in the master bedroom was not connected to the Internet so it was unusable. When I tried to read in bed, the switch on the bedside lamp was broken so I could not turn it on. The drinking water issues should have been noted in the original posting, not communicated after the reservation was made.

The view from the balcony is absolutely beautiful. The weather was nice. The walk on the beach was so relaxing. The home was comfortable. The layout of the home is spacious. The sights and sounds were what we were there for. The waves lulled us to sleep. The only negatives at the time of our stay was the living room needs a recliner, it’s not an area that you could lounge comfortably at night when you are winding down for the night the furniture is nice but it could be more relaxing furniture.The stove burners do not heat very well it took forever to scramble eggs. There is noise that comes from the second refrigerator, but it’s more noticeable at night it is a knocking sound that comes and goes all night. The outside stairs the ones that lead to the sand needs handrails. My husband had a hip replacement so the recliner and the railing was needed. He was using a walker at the time. The hand rails needs to be up to code. The owners did put in the contract that the thermostat for summer should not be below 80 degrees and winter shouldn’t be above 60 degrees. This was not an issue do to the time of year that we were there. But in cold winter and hot Texas summers that would be a major issue for us. I do want to say to the owners we enjoyed our stay. Thank you for graciously opening it up to strangers,you never know who you might get.We did take care of your beautiful home. We were careful with your home and made special memories.
