Enjoyed our stay very much. Beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting. Everything was perfect.

Came looking for a relaxing weekend away, Huckleberry cabin was so much more. Quiet comfortable pretty enchanting. The trails were great, full of all sort of surprises. There are so many details from the tree house, the hotub, fire pit, cozy cabin and of course the gnomes. Would definitely stay again. Scott and Ruth were lovely.

Not accurate about the listing. Was not comfortable staying in the property with somebody else. Showed up and left I didn’t even stay the night.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this sweet spot on Harstine Island. Loved the cabin, the grounds, and beautiful location, near a lovely saltwater beach.

We had a really great stay. The most amazing part was how the hosts knew what we wanted from them, without us ever saying it. Many other reviews talk about how helpful and interactive the hosts are. But we wanted a more private feel, and they just magically knew that and gave us a lot of space. And we still got to cash in on the famous zucchini bread that came fresh out of the oven just as we were checking out. The cabin and all of the areas around it have well thought out privacy screens that make you feel like you are alone, or at least way further away from the main house than you really are. The trail system was worth exploring. For two adults, give it about an hour of your time. If you have kids with you, you could easily spend hours out there checking out the gnomes, the horses, and the hidden forest swing. The listing is accurate for what is in the house and it is well appointed. The outdoor grill is adequate for grilling for two people. We did bring an extra cutting board which helped. Pro Tips - Hama Hama Oyster Saloon is 45 minutes away and one of the coolest day trips for a couple (especially with a reservation) - There are 3 disc golf courses within ~30 minutes. - There is a lot more to do and see at Harstine Island State Park (with a steep-ish hike involved) than there is at Jarrell Cove.

Our stay at the Huckleberry Cabin was exactly what we needed: mini adventures on property tucked into magical woods filled with hidden treasures and animals - domestic and wild alike! Our hosts were above and beyond! The only problem was when my son (9) announced we must move from the big city and live in the woods. Maybe someday... in the meantime, we'll return to Huckleberry Cabin again and again!

This cozy cabin is located on a beautiful wooded property behind a main house.Out hosts were welcoming and helpful, the area is quiet and relaxing.The cabin is well equipped with all the necessities for comfortable stay.We enjoyed it a lot.

We loved our stay here at Huckleberry House! The hosts were kind & welcoming and were happy to show us around or let us explore ourselves! Their property is beautiful with lots to discover & relax and enjoy. We barely left the property because there was plenty to do between the onsite trails, the water access walking distance, the cornhole set, all kinds of seating and hammocks. We will surely be back! The cabin was even larger than the pictures looked. It was plenty of room for my husband, me and our chocolate lab! They are very thoughtful with what is available in the cabin from games, dvds, spare toothbrush, lights outside for the evenings, wood for the fire place & cooking essentials. Would recommend!

We had a fantastic time. The owners have provided so many wonderful amenities throughout the property. The cabin sits on acres of natural forest filled with trails with fun locations throughout furnished with chairs, hammocks, etc. Closer to the cabin there is a well-kept yard area with a fire pit, patio furniture, and more. The owners could not have been nicer or more welcoming. We also appreciated the wi-fi access that allowed us to map out travel plans on our phones and to watch a movie when we felt more like staying in at night. It was our first time visiting but it will not be the last -- we can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful time during our long weekend at the Huckleberry Cabin. The cabin is small but super cozy and comfortable. Very peaceful and quiet. The grounds are so beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub, made a fire in the fire pit and enjoyed S'Mores, did some hiking around the island and drove up to the Olympic National Park for more incredible immersion in nature. It was a really magical weekend getaway!

This was a fabulous stay! The kids and I were really excited about the gnome trails and meeting the horses. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. I would recommend this beautiful place for any stay in or around Seattle.

The property was perfect for us. The 400 sq ft cabin didn’t feel cramped at all. It felt well-built and the solid wood trims were a reflection of the industry surrounding the area. We had all the essentials. The owners obviously put a lot of care, attention to details, and effort into the place. The trails were perfect and our kids enjoyed the gnome hunt. They loved the tree house and loft area. Meandering past the creek and racing sticks was definitely a favorite activity for them. The internet and TV were also a welcome distraction for the kids. We had a good balance of time to unplug and time to let the kids zone out.

This property was exactly what we needed to unwind and connect with nature. Everything was perfect.

My husband and I had a lovely long weekend here. This was the best STR I’ve stayed in. The cabin was warm and cozy with every amenity we needed. The hosts’ attention to detail regarding what guests might need was fantastic. The hot tub was lovely to relax in. They had detailed instructions for how to use the hot tub, the tv remotes and directions for getting around the island. I can’t say enough good things about out stay. We will return.

Ruth and Scott are excellent hosts. The cabin had everything you needed for cooking and relaxing. The hot tub and outdoor fire pit were especially nice after a day of hiking! With acres of trees and trails, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature around the cabin and at the state parks. We will definitely plan another visit. Thank you Ruth and Scott!

Everything was wonderful at this property! Very relaxing and peaceful. We probably would have gone out more, but there was lots of rain! It was a nice quiet weekend with my family

Beautiful cabin and property with thoughtful amenities

Such a lovely spot in the trees! The cabin is well appointed and comfortable. The hosts have provided lots of little touches to make your stay enjoyable.

My dog Pippa and I came for a working retreat, and Huckleberry House was the perfect place for it! I worked in the mornings and then we went hiking each afternoon in the Olympics. The cabin was comfortable, clean, and beautifully-appointed in every way. Loved the hot tub to relax in each day. And the lovely network of trails around the property were delightful for short breaks. Ruth and Scott were very reponsive when I had a question and overall have created a beautiful little haven on Harstene Island. Couldn't be better!

We had such a great time at the Huckleberry house! Ruth and Scott were amazing hosts. Our boys had so much fun walking the property and finding Gmomes on the trail. We will be back for sure!! Such a beautiful property.

The owners were wonderful hosts. Their cabin and property were nice, private and very comfortable. It was perfect for a quick getaway from the big city just for my partner, our 2 dogs and I.
