It was a comfortable cozy cottage ! With fluffy towels and a comfortable bed! Had everything we needed including a washer and dryer! A very good location, close to airport and all the things we wanted to do!!

We were in Arcata to visit out son and his family. We adore staying at this "little home away from home" and will return often. It has everything we need and is spotless.

It was a wonderful little cottage, very cozy. The ranch setting was nice, and the sheep were fun to see. All the amenities were perfect. It was a little difficult to find at night in the dark but still manageable. We'll definitely stay there again!

Overall the property is great and centrally located to just about everything you want to see and do in Humboldt County.Great place to relax and wind down.Little house with lots of good memories.Second time we have stayed here and will stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at this cottage. It was so peaceful and cozy. Loved hearing the sheep. Everything we needed was available, with the bonus of fresh pears awaiting our arrival! Everything was clean and the fireplace was just one more cozy luxury!!

This property was exactly as advertised. It was a small, out of the way place in a quiet rural location, and yet it was a great base for visiting Arcata, Eureka and the surrounding area. The bed was very comfortable and the cottage was equipped with just about everything that anyone could need, including a washer and dryer in the shed next door. It was nice to look out at the sheep and chickens!

A very lovely cottage. Private, quiet, clean, neat,and well equipped. Had everything we needed and then some. Had a porch to sit and enjoy the peacefulness with a cup of coffee. The friendly sheep were an added bonus! Would definitely stay here again!

This place looks exactly like the pictures online. The home is tiny but cozy, and the sheep are adorable and friendly. My partner and I made this our base camp while we explored the redwoods in the area, and it was a perfect place to come back for a shower, dinner, and relax time after a full day of hiking. Great stay!

Really enjoyed our stay at this little cottage. Especially enjoyed the sheep. We are animal lovers and loved the feeling of being surrounded by the sheep. Everything went very smoothly. Only thing that could have been better was the lack of air conditioning. I couldn't have the windows open due to my allergies and we got pretty stuffy in there at night.

What a delightful property! We stayed in Bayside to attend a family member’s wedding. The place was everything and more than we could have hoped for. Such a fun place to stay.

This property is one-of-a-kind! The sheep are quiet at night, and when let out of the barn in morning are delightful! If you're lucky, they come up to the gate and say, "hi".
The cottage is cozy, bed very comfortable, bathroom complete with handheld shower head now, and high-end bath supplies in a cute basket. Kitchen has everything, including Pete's dark coffee - perfect!
Loved being here - hope to meet Angela next time!

We come to the Arcata area several times to visit our son and grandson, and we are so happy that we chose to stay at this charming cottage for this trip. The cottage was sweet and cozy and fully equipped with all the amenities we could ever need. A beautiful bathroom, cozy den/kitchen set up complete with a little gas fireplace heater, and a big comfy bed. The decor was charming and we look forward to staying here on all of future trips.

Really enjoyed staying on this sheep farm! Perfect for working remotely for a month although my nose was glued to the window all day watching the sheep. Very central and easy to pop over to numerous hikes and downtown Arcata or downtown Eureka. Angela was super friendly and even gave me fresh eggs! Hoping to come back next year.

Had business in Eureka and McKinleyville and this cottage felt pretty central. Peaceful for the main part but, boy, the oven, toaster and smoke detector do not get along.

The Jacoby Creek cottage is just as it looks online- clean and absolutely lovely! Having the sheep as neighbors was just wonderful- I had no idea how cute their faces were and they are incredibly quiet at night. Angela is an excellent host and responds to messages immediately.

This was our first time booking with vrbo and it was truly a great experience. My wife and myself booked this location since we wanted to explore the area since our child will be attending the college nearby. We enjoyed our stay and the location was very comfortable. Thank you.

Very enjoyable! The house was just the right size for two. Really clean and neat. Had everything we needed. Cozy and very nicely decorated. Angela and her family were wonderful. Location was very convenient. Felt like being in the country, but not too far from shopping, sightseeing and restaurants. We've stayed in various rental properties but never had sheep, chickens, dogs and cats to greet us every day. We loved it and would love to go back! Thanks for the fresh eggs, too!

Had a great relaxing experience. Sunsets were awesome! Has everything you need for short stay. Just outside Arcata proper made it feel out in the country but literally minutes from downtown Arcata.

My parents stayed here for a family wedding. The place is super cute-clean- on a sheep farm. You can sit out on the porch and enjoy the view.

Angela and her family are very welcoming and wonderful people. They gave us space to come and go and were free to chat whenever we crossed paths. The space was perfect for us two to make meals or watch a movie before bed. Wish I was still there!

Perfect stay
Awesome stay, great quiet location. We brought our daughter and she loved the sheep behind the property! The bayside area was quiet while still being close to town. The guesthouse was well stocked & a great size for the price. 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone considering staying in the Humboldt area.

I absolutely loved staying at this cottage for a work trip. I felt safe, the space was perfectly clean and well stocked with every single thing I could possibly need. I woke up to the sound of sheep, which was just about the cutest thing ever. The bed was cozy and soft, the bathroom spacious and again, very clean.
Would stay here again in a heart beat and will be recommending to everyone I know!
