The house and property were perfect for my family, we had 8 adults and one child and plenty of room, the house had everything we needed and more, couldn’t have found a better place to stay! We all loved it! Easy access to water! Boat dock also was great, accommodated our two boats without any problems, great bumpers around dock as well. My adult children and nephew loved snorkeling around the rocks looking for fish!!

We enjoyed this property so much the first time, we booked it again. The house is wonderful and swimming in the lake every day was great fun for the whole family. The only thing that was not good was the Internet service. It was so poor that we had to use our cell phones as a hot spot if we wanted good Internet service.

Clean, well maintained home with plenty of room for our family of ten. Kitchen had everything you would need and plenty of towels and linens. Beautiful yard with easy access to the boat dock.

Beautiful house with an amazing lake expierence. The ability to just sit on a rock couch in the water and relax was perfect. Host was responsive and pleasent. House was clean and well stocked with the basics. Our group is already planning to make this a yearly trip.

Off the beaten path for sure! Great location in the lake. Up to date and spacious. Had everything we needed for a great fishing trip to Lewis Smith. The ice maker was a small but greatly appreciated amenity! Decent fishing right off the dock. All agreed to book this place for there next trip.

This was either the fourth or fifth stay at this property! We absolutely love it! So comfortable, amazing floor plan for teens, and fantastic location! Daughter and friends occupied the downstairs while adults hung out upstairs. This property is always clean, well appointed, and in a quiet part of the lake. I am already looking for dates for our next visit! Five stars!

This is a perfect place for friends to gather and spend quality time together. There were nine adults in our group, three couples and three individuals, and all were very comfortable with the five bedrooms and three full bathrooms. Every room was clean, thoughtfully appointed, and welcoming. We prepared several gourmet quality meals (we have a professional chef in our group!) and found the kitchen adequately stocked with the equipment to prepare these meals. Whether we were sitting around the kitchen table or around the fire pit we were pleased with the quiet and peaceful surroundings. We also enjoyed having spaces in the house on two levels for groups to engage in different activities at the same time. This was a great place for us to get together and we hope to gather here again for more delightful times together!

We enjoyed our stay at Split Rock Cove. The land and home are beautiful and the 3 different levels provided the perfect amount of separation and togetherness. I personally enjoyed having only two tvs to compete with but the guys would have liked more in the bedrooms. (Thanksgiving football and all). We enjoyed the fire pit at night and gazing at the stars w/o city lights to contend with. It was amazing. The kitchen has every thing we needed to cook the Feast and I found the rental in very good condition. If I could change one thing it would be the garbage removal process. Taking the bags out to the main road by car was tricky and inconvenient but I’d be happy to stay here again. Thanks & Happy Holidays 🎄

We were extremely satisfied with the cleanliness, easy access to pier and how well the home was stocked with all necessities. Checkout was so easy with written instructions. We loved our short stay and plan to come back to enjoy this lovely home!

Well kept property, As advertised.Kids loved to swim off the dock.A/C was A+.furnished with all we needed.Remote area so bring all your food.Felt safe.We would book again.

This home is absolutely stunning and in the perfect location. There is so much that we loved about this house. Jon was great to work with and answered any/all our questions promptly. He went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We had mentioned to Jon that we wanted to watch the final College World Series Baseball game so he had the game on and waiting for us when we arrived! It was so nice to have a second refrigerator and also an ice maker to fill the coolers. There are no steep stairs down to the lake, which made it possible for my mom to make it to the dock. The grandkids absolutely loved the shallow water by the split rock and spent hours playing there. It was like having their own pool. Everyone enjoyed jumping off the rocks! Also, The landscaping on the entire property is just beautiful! It was our first trip to Smith Lake and everyone in our group had a great time at Split Rock Cove.

It seems brand new, is stocked with EVERYTHING you could possible want, has a gorgeous setting and lakefront which is easily accessible (not too steep), and is on a beautiful part of the lake with a long, undeveloped shoreline across the lake. In short, we LOVED Split Rock Cove and won't even consider booking anywhere else in the future. Jon was an amazing host. Not a single negative about out time in his lovely, perfect home. (One note - if you have a toddler, bring a baby gate.) If we could, we would give Split Rock Cove TEN stars!
