What a great cabin! Lots of sleeping spaces. Check in & check out were super easy. Had one issue and Kim got it taken care of super fast! Unfortunately the weather didn't give us enough opportunities to get out on the lake, but mini golf in Crosslake and the Safari zoo in Brainerd were super fun too!

We had a great stay at the Log Cabin. Very quiet area with great views and lots of nature. Our 7 year old had fun fishing off the dock. He found turtles, beavers, lots of birds, chipmunks...he stayed busy for hours. We highly recommend renting the pontoon--it worked great and it was nice to explore more of the area this way. There is no air conditioning, but the cabin stayed at a comfortable temp. WiFi worked great. Overall it was a great stay and Kim was great to work with!

The location was great. We attended the Crosslake St. Patty's day parade. The cabin needs some electrical work done. Also upon our arrival there was no toilet paper, but not told that was something we/I needed to provide.

Nice location but right off the bat there was a large bin of smelly trash from previous renters left outside front door. Needed WiFI for my job but it did not work . Contacted owner multiple times but was unable to resolve the issue. Apologies for the trash but did not remove it. After we left she charged us for using “too much coffee”, cleaning “extra towels”, and said we stool items from her kitchen. First off we brought all our own coffee as none was provided, nor did we expect it to be provided. And there is nothing in the policy last year about washing towels, and we took none of her kitchen utensils. I tried to contact her about this with no luck. She charged an extra $250. Tried to dispute it but VRBO took her side with no proof from her. So just know it might be more expensive than you expect. Also the place is severely under lite…needs a lot more lights in the main rooms and kitchen.

We met with old friends at the Crosslake cabin. Our group comprised of hree couples excited to get reacquainted after a couple years of Covid separation.

Just a really nice property, in a great location. You can not beat the peninsula with the fire pit! We will be back.

Loved the peninsula with the fire pit and hammock trees. Lots of space to play games. You can catch fish off the dock and there is wildlife. Recommend renting the pontoon to enjoy the wonderful lakes. Log cabin is very nice and comfortable. Kim was a great hostess!

Great property but I have to say I'm very unsatisfied the owner charged me $90 additional for extra cleaning and laundry when we were short 1 set of sheets and 2 pillow cases. We brought our own vs asking for them and got charged for laundry because we left one of the sheets. Here are all the other things that were wrong with our stay but I wasn't going to post this until she charged me. *Short 2 pillow cases and 1 sheet set. 2 of the pillows were not easy to find and stored in the crawl space. *You list condiments were included and there was NO ketchup. We purchased ketchup and left it for you. *Our wifi didn't work and you didn't supply beach towels until I texted you. *Your sprinklers go off at 7pm and not in the middle of the night as your information lists so all of the chairs were wet by the fire. *Open bag of half eaten chips by the grill laying open *Tons of cigarette butts in the ash tray by the grill table *Garbage still in the outside container by the grill *Grill has no bottom tray and felt very unsafe to use as sparks go right down on ground *one of your fans upstairs did not work When I sent back this feedback I received no reply and my additional fee was still processed.

We had a fabulous time staying at this gorgeous property! There was so much space for our family to spread out and we loved the fire pit area.

An extremely high property in a quiet, wooded neighborhood with a lot of space and right on the lake! So beautiful and peaceful! The property is much nicer in person than the photos demonstrate! There was plenty of room to spread out, both inside and out. Kitchen fully stocked. Entire home clean. My only small suggestion would be privacy film or a curtain on the bathroom windows, as the windows are visible right to very public areas (the porch), which made using the restroom at times awkward. I'd definitely stay here again - this place has a lot to offer!

Kim is a great host, the location and the property are perfect, and we always enjoy our stay at this rental. Having close proximity to town is a real bonus, you can get to everything in 5 mins but the property has the feel of a remote location. The cabin sleeps more than you would expect, has everything you need, and the fire pit out on the peninsula is amazing. Finally, I rent properties at least 2-3 times a year and Kim is one of the nicest hosts I have rented from. 100% recommendation for this cabin.

Clean cabin tucked in a nice quiet spot on dagget lake but close to any store you may need. Very nice deck to drink coffee or a cocktail. We will be back.

Great location if your looking for a property on the chain! We had a group of 8. Four adults and 4 kids. The set up was great for us. We really enjoyed the fire pit on the point as well. However, we did find mice droppings in one of the bedrooms and in the living room. There were also plenty of dead bugs on the window sills and mantel. Not exactly what a person loves to see but we made the most of it! Overall it was a great location and enough room for us all!

We did enjoy the property but will need to find another location with a beach and air conditioning. The rooms were large and accommodated our 4 adults and 5 children just fine. The one issue is the kitchen was way small for 9 people and the table only sat 4 people. We did not use the firepit because someone had just taken a bunch of large branches and logs and just thrown them in the pit so in order to use,we would have had to empty all the branches and clean it out. It was nice having the dock so close and the large deck was great. We spent evenings just relaxing after a long day on the lake. It was hard not having air as it was quite warm for the first 2 days we stayed so lack of sleep was an issue. Overall we had a wonderful time at the property. It was not the fault of the owner, but the previous group before us left a lot of stuff in the fridge and showers that we now had to throw away. Any time on the Whitefish is wonderful to us though so minor things didn't really bother us.

The pictures didn’t do the property justice, it was so much better than expected. We couldn’t have ask for a better experience. Kim was very helpful and responded very promptly to the one issue we had (it was our fault). Definitely planning on going back again.

The cabin was great! It was clean. We could check in early on our day of arrival and weren’t rushed to leave on Sunday. The yard is the best part. Lots of room for games, fires, and hanging out. The owner was very responsive and willing to answer any questions! The only downside was needing to take the garage with you once you leave but overall I would defiantly stay again!

Perfect location and beautiful property! We stayed in March for the Cross Lake St Patrick's Day parade, which was canceled unfortunately, but we were able to enjoy time at the cabin. The cabin is very cozy and comfortable for our group of eight adults and two children. Though this didnt ruin our trip I will mention the cabin was a little dusty, the snow wasn't cleared for a walk way up to the door, and the toilet paper was low when we arrived. I didn't see anything in the accommodations regarding needing to bring our own TP. I am assuming due to the time of year, there hadn't been any guests at the cabin in awhile. Towels and linens were clean!! Will definitely consider staying again. I would love to stay in the Summer months!!

Was able to have a fun weekend golfing with a big group, plenty of room to sleep.

We had a family wedding at nearby Whitefish Lodge. When they ran out of rooms we found Kim’s cabin on Crosslake. What a find! Nicely appointed, charming and comfortable for 8. Would love to go back in the summer so we could take advantage of great outdoor amenities.

Was not impressed by the cleanliness on the inside, a recent storm had down some trees on the property as well which was in the way to the fire pit and branches were extending into the fire pit and could have caused bodily injury. Other than the fore mentioned issues, the property had a great feel, location was great, and overall it was a great getaway. Thank you for sharing your beautiful lakehome!!

Cabin was really wonderful! Plenty of space and comfy furniture. Loved the yard and view from the back porch. The hard water smell was noticeable with showers, but we brought a Brita for drinking and it worked great. We would be happy to book again in the future!

Had an awesome time! Close to all amenities. Great fishing and Yard.. the fire pit was great to sit around and Yard was awesome for yard games. The porch was my favorite morning spot😁�

A beautiful property with a great view off the covered deck! Enjoyed a thunderstorm one evening from there. Spent the other three fun evenings at the awesome fire ring down by the lake. Rented the pontoon and had a great day cruising the chain of lakes on what turned out to be a perfect late summer day! The cabin was nice and homey and accommodated seven of us easily. Everyone enjoyed their time at this peaceful and relaxing property!

The cabin was nice and the owner seemed very nice however, the water was terrible. The iron filter needed replacement and the owner had one on order but we had to deal with the water as is. It was a reddish-yellow color, smelled and it was hard to get dishes clean. We had to go into town to buy water for coffee, drinking and cooking. The dishwasher did not work properly and it took over night for the water to drain. The inside was dirty and stained from the water so we hand washed the dishes. There were no working smoke alarms or carbon monoxide detectors in the cabin and there should be for safety. The propane gas for the grills was almost empty so we had to fill the tank ourselves so we could use the grill. On the positive side it is a great location and setting and the fire pit area near the lake was fantastic. Our group enjoyed our stay despite the water and other issues.
