The only issue we had was the 7th "bedroom" was technically an area to watch tv with a pull out couch, but we still had plenty of places for our larage group to sleep. It was a beautiful home with a gorgeous view and great amenities. Very close and convenient to the main grocery store and main area of Isle of Palm. The kitchen was very well stocked with items you would need to cook meals, and eat at the house. It was very clean and well maintained. It wasn't listed, but they did have beach chairs that were left at the home, and also beach toys. We had a few things we had to contact the management company about (garbage disposal, heating the hot tub) and they were very reponsive. It was a bummer that we had to pay extra for the hot tub to be heated and all they really did was give us a paper on how to do it, but charged $300 for our 3 days there. Also, on our last night at the property, the AC in the upstaris part of the house wasn't working properly (it was over 78-80 degrees) and they were able to find someone to come out and fix that night. I would reccomend this property to people who are visiting Isle of Palm. We had a few issues and the prorpery management company came and took care of them promptly and were very responsive.

The first thing we noticed about the property was how CLEAN and well-maintained it was! The staging when we first entered was soo impressive. This was our first weekend for just the ladies of our family and we could not have been more please with our accommodations, the friendliness of the property management team and the truly spectacular sunsets! Rent this property! You won't regret it!!

There are so many great spots to hang out either in groups or solo...the screened in porch was a special haven for kids (best playpen in the universe!) and adults alike. Maintenance was timely and personable and professional though unfortunate we had to keep calling them for issues (elevator was not usuable without using a bbq skewer to release the door; stove would not boil large pan of water and needed to be fixed - we were told to just boil in smaller pots. Better to have known this limitation before trying to cook for 16 people; fire ants {many!} were on pool deck and in pool- enough that most of us got bit; master bedroom on first floor fan required maintenance. We were told when we checked in that the outdoor grill needed repair but we were able to use it as they gave us a lighter for the pilot light. Just seems like a bunch of stuff needed work during our one week there. That said, again the maintenance folks were great, east island realty staff were each fantastic and we would definately consider returning to Bella Vista once some of these basic amenities were corrected.

There's no hand soap, beach towels, or kleenex. The house was stocked like a minimally stocked hotel room. They also charge you $300 to heat the hot tub and pool. I understand the pool as it is huge, but the hot tub should be included.

I began finding deferred maintenance around the house: a broken refrigerator, a wonky kitchen faucet that didn’t turn on properly, pocket doors that were off track and got stuck, floor panels that were loose, and a hot tub that only got luke warm. Surely not significant, but enough to wear on the comfort of the stay and question the true quality of the home; particularly at this price point. And the roach infestation was so bad, I stayed at another property. This shouldn’t have to be a choice: either sleep with roaches or stay somewhere else. Overall, East Island Rentals generally receives great reviews and we have used them in the past without issues. However, this time our experience was worse than previous stays and well below our expectations.
