Beautiful house. Took 4-5 hours to get to from San Jose airport.

We had a lovely family vacation and this home was perfect for our group of 9. Lots of room to spread out. After days of hiking and sightseeing, it was perfect to come back to the open air pool and hot tub; especially in rainy season, the covered area was enjoyable. Whitney was easy to reach with any needs. We had a hired Chef and he had plenty of work area to prepare the meals. Thank you Whitney for sharing the home! If we were to come to Uvita again, we'd repeat our stay.

The listed pictures of this home are great but doesn't give complete justice. This house is spectacular! Our group of 6 couples were completely comfortable. All beds are comfortable, all bedrooms are equipped with ac, beautiful bathrooms, everything you could ask for. This home has multiple common areas which is perfect for the ones who wanted to relax when the others were having a pool party. Property manager, Whitney, is excellent. He gave us great tips as to where to go, when, what to do,etc... He also was quick to respond with any questions or would arrange to have something straightened out quickly..such as the internet/bluetooth connection to the surround sound(our operation error). Perfect for setting the mood of the whole house. To note, we've been coming to this area of CR for over a decade and hands down this has been our most favorite trip mainly due to this home and service. We'll certainly be back! For those of you on a tighter budget, consider adjusting your fund allocation to this property. Comfort & amenities really do make a much better CR experience.

Wonderful to walk into a rental, and it’s exactly as it appears on the pictures and described in the listing. It was great to find that the positive reviews were accurate. Except for the one about the beach being 3 minutes away (unless you are a bird) and that one from 2018 that said the kitchen was well stocked. I can say that since the 2018 review, the kitchen is no longer well stocked. I’m somewhat of a gourmet cook and had plans to cook a birthday dinner for my wife and friends, and I didn’t have enough pots or pans. Robert, one of the hosts, saved the day by dropping off some personal cookware. Whitney and Robert are two of the best hosts I have ever experienced. Whitney created a detailed binder with restaurant suggestions and other things to do in and around Uvita. If we had questions that might not already be in the highly detailed binder, Robert was always a call or text away and was very responsive. One thing is for sure, believe Whitney and Robert when they say – you MUST have a 4x4 wheel drive to get up the driveway to the house. They are not exaggerating. The quality construction of the house absorbed interior sounds, and large bedrooms with six adults seemed like were living in separate luxe units. Most of our time was spent in the outdoor area, enjoying the view and the magnificent nature surrounding us. We had a blast with a 5-hour ATV tour with Jungle ATV tours right in Uvita. The suggested Mangrove tour was great as well, and we found a wonderful tour guide for the Manuel Antonio Nature Park, Andre’ with Iguana Tours. Some of the tickets for activities must be purchased online, so check before you head out. There are many things we didn’t have time to do, but we’ll cover all that on our next visit! We will be back!

It was evening what was o. VRBO and more. The host were super responsive and helpful. Home was beautiful. We enjoyed pool and the outdoor seating. I recommend this place.

Everything about this property was as advertised. The house is gorgeous with spectacular views. Robert our host was great and responded right away with any questions we had. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook for a group of 8. The town of Uvita is very close with great restaurants and the Whale tail beach, and many other things to do! We would definitely stay at this property again if we are back in the area.

Our host Whit was great in every way. He met and gave us a tour of his home when we arrived. He also hooked us up with a few activities in the area that we took advantage of while we were there. Our super host along with telling us about the area and things to do also put together a notebook explaining what he covered with us. We loved his home during our stay and would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay in Uvita. The house was great and the outdoor areas were exceptional. Whit had a book of recommendations which made it easy to choose restaurants and tours. Staff live nearby so when the water heater ran out of fuel it was fixed in minutes. Highly recommend!

My husband and I and our four adult daughters enjoyed our stay tremendously. We generally relaxed every morning around the pool and made our way to different beaches in the area. As we have done the excursions before, we knew the best part of Costa Rica was the relaxing and discovering. We also took two excellent yoga classes at the neighbouring Vista Ballena at their Hart Yoga building which has a jaw-dropping view. The home is beautiful with many places to sit and watch the sunset. The beds were the most comfortable beds we’ve ever had in a rental. There were some things that were “tired” and could use a little updating (the bed linen, the curtains, loud a/c) but that certainly didn’t take away from our lovely holiday. Whit was extremely helpful and dealt with any problems immediately. I would return to this rental home and would recommend it to friends. Thanks CR for another perfect holiday.

Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Whits attention detail in every aspect of the rental process made everything so easy and enjoyable. The house itself is if anything more amazing than the pictures could describe. Can’t recommend this property enough.

This listing is everything it claimed to be and more. The setting of the house was perfect overlooking the ocean. Whit was very helpful in suggesting activities and places to eat around town! We will be back next time we are in Costa Rica for sure.

Whit was the best host I have ever had. The location was stunning, clean and he supplied us with all the necessities. This is a five star property. The view was created by God and this property made you feel as close to the clouds as possible. The sea view was perfect during sunrise. The rooms are HUGE! Bathroom are perfectly built and hot water runs the entire time! Located just a couple of miles from a grocery story and gas! Beach is less than 3 minutes down the hill! You have to book this!

This lovely house is set in a beautiful flower and fruit garden that guarantees the presence of butterflies and birds. We saw toucans every day and of course many exotic frogs every time it rained. Whit organized daily activities for us, all of which were good, but the Bahia Ballena Kayak trip with snorkeling was the most fun! Don’t miss the Bali Hai Beach Club. The sunsets were astonishing and the boogie boarding exhilarating. Altogether a wonderful vacation, much of it due to Whit’s help and hospitality.

Amazing property! It’s rare that bedrooms are equal in size and have their own bathrooms like this house. No issues with hot water, plumbing, air conditioning or anything at all. The standards were set high when this house was rebuilt and you can tell. As if the house wasn’t perfect enough, Whit is the best property manager I’ve ever had. He is a genuine good guy that wants you to enjoy your stay. He went above and beyond expectations to make our stay easy and extremely enjoyable. We really enjoyed the Uvita and Dominical area too.

The house was great and the ocean views spectacular. We particularly enjoyed morning coffee from the outside kitchen while overlooking the ocean. Whit was super helpful and provided tons of information about the house, town, restaurants and activities in the area and was always available when needed. Thanks Whit! Whit was beyond helpful. He made the check in process very easy and helped me and my party with all of our activities during our stay. Very easy to contact and responds almost instantly. The house was in spotless condition. All of the bedrooms had amazing views and we even saw toucans while sitting out by the pool! The pictures of this place just don't do it justice. The house was absolutely perfect, and the views take your breath away!! Whit was super helpful and even made a binder that tells you everything you need to know for your trip, excursions, restaurants, shopping, beaches and more. Definitely make sure you visit the Bali Beach that Whit stays at. It is the most beautiful beach we visited the whole trip (calm waters and completely private!)! I was a little disappointed in the lack of wild life, but that goes for all of the places we went to on the trip not just around the house. There are lots of birds on the property but no monkeys or sloths (that we saw). The house is super close to town and is beautifully landscaped! I felt very safe on and off the property. No complaints what so ever, and the house even included supplies you normally have to buy (dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, seasonings). Would definitely return!!

The home was better than the photos. The house comfortably slept 7 of us and have everything that we needed. Whit was so very communicative and made us feel right at home. The home has a steep drive way so 4 wheel drive is a must but your 5 minutes from downtown Uvita and about 20 from Dominical. Get ready to unplug from your everyday life and enjoy the house amazing infinity pool and hot tub with a breath taking view.

This was our first trip to Costa Rica, and what an awesome experience it was! This house is amazing and surpasses the details advertised. It was also a great thing to have Whit’s assistance throughout our stay. I would definitely suggest this property if you plan to visit Costa Rica!

If your staying near Uvita and choose Casa Thai you wont be disappointed. Great view, great location, comfortable beds, air conditioned bedrooms. Perfect for 3 or 4 couples. Go play all day come back grab a cocktail and enjoy the view from the infinity pool. At night enjoy the huge spa that heats up in just a few minutes. Whit was great, upon our arrival he spent over an hour with us going over the house as well as all the activities and best places to eat in the area.
