On the other hand, all the major items: dishwasher, washer and dryer, AC, microwave worked just fine. There is a lovely backyard and roof deck. The beds were comfortable. The question to ask - would you come back? Answer - yes

We absolutely loved our stay at this beach house! We will be back and would recommend to any large group. Great location in the heart of Dewey Beach. Spacious living area, good sized bedrooms with multiple bathrooms to accommodate a family vaca with children. We communicated with the property owner during our stay and he was extremely responsive. Thanks for an awesome beach week with tons of memories made!

Everything was wonderful but I do have two complaints about the property. The outdoor grill did not work at all and the upstairs hallway toilet did not work and apparently the owner knew there were problems because there were two plungers next to the toilet. That was the main disappointment with the property because with 10 people it was a major inconvenience. I am still waiting for my security refund check to be returned.

We had a great family vacation. The location of the home was perfect and as advertised. There was plenty of space for our large family the entire week. The owner was very responsive to a couple of issues. A lightning storm took out the internet router and cable, so while we were without both for 3 days, it wasn’t because the owner didn’t do what she could to get comcast out to fix it. The only other issue was that the house was missing the height chairs, but again the owner ordered a new set and it arrived a couple days later. All in all, we had a great time, enjoyed the house, and would definitely stay again.

Overall fantastic house, good location. Plenty of room for our family vacation.

The property was beautiful with large inviting common areas. The entertaining kitchen was an open set up extending into the living room. Plenty of outdoor space with seating to enjoy the entire beach atmosphere!

House was awesome, loved the rooftop area and backyard. Was located right on the main strip which was convenient. Had a great time would stay again!

We rented this property for my dad's 60th birthday weekend and were extremely happy with the whole experience. It's the off season, so we were allowed an early checkin. The whole home was spotless, and we had more than enough room for 6 adults, 1 kid, and 2 dogs. As for outdoor spaces, we used only the rooftop on the first night when we had unseasonably good weather. The backyard also looks like a nice space, but we didn't use it due to rain/cold. My only suggestion to improve the stay for future guests is to add blackout curtains or shades to the rooms for sleeping. Thanks for a great stay!

It was PERFECT! Would definitely stay again!

I grew up going to Bethany Beach, but we had a Marathon weekend planned with 10 runners and family, so we found this on VRBO in Dewey Beach and it was the PERFECT spot. The ease of renting , communication, was surpurb. The house fit us perfectly as we were able to rent both sides and had plenty of beds. The house is comfortable, so you don't have extra worry that a china item from a Grandmother would be broken. The back part of house (sleeps) 12 and that was the house we had meals and hung out in. We were 2 miles (8 minute drive) to Rehoboth where the Marathon took off. This house was loved by all who stayed. If we do a larger gathering again this will be top pick!!!!

We had such a wonderful time in this beautiful home. There was plenty of space for us all to be in one room or to break off into smaller groups in a variety of spaces. We loved the backyard with the covered gazebo. We were able to be outside when it was raining.

We enjoyed hosting thanksgiving for our large family at this house. Great spaces for large groups. Easy walk to the beach. Outdoor spaces looked fun but weather was too cool.

Amazing house! Great location!

Overall we had a nice stay. This property is located at the most convenient location for a group that wants to go to the beach and enjoy the town of dewey and rehobeth. With that in mind, late night noise from the bar scene may be an issue for some groups though we didn’t mind. The rental is dog friendly which is a huge bonus, though we had to pay an additional fee. We did have some rental issues to start. The property was not properly cleaned, there seemed to be a mixup with the cleaning schedule. There was also an inconvenient leak which required the property owner to stop by and inspect. However, in lieu of these things they allowed our group to stay extra time and use the adjacent rental which was vacant at the time.

This is our 2nd year at this property. The owner made many improvements in the past year. It is very close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Unfortunately we need to change weeks next summer and this house is not available any of the weeks that we can come. I hope we can find another place that is as nice.

This was a beautiful home for a family vacation. Plenty of room to spread out. Large kitchen, well equipped. Great location to the beach and restaurants and shops. Close to the Jolly Trolley stop! All my questions were answered very quickly by our host.

Beautiful home great location. Responsive owners. We rented 4th of July week and the rooftop was great for fireworks. The rooftop railing was broken upon arrival causing a safety issue and they nicely came and fixed it right away despite it being a holiday weekend. Nice people. I have 3 stars for online accuracy bc the owner and I came to find out vrbo had some outdated listing information (the check in and check out time are listed differently in the attached rental agreement vrbo sends you and online , there is no foosball table ) luckily the owner was nice in figuring out a checkout time that worked for both of us and we appreciated that. Hopefully vrbo updates this so it avoids future confusion. The 4 bed bunk bedroom gets very warm despite the air vent but they nicely had fans in there to use. We had everything we needed at the house , everything was clean and were super happy. Thank you Lynn!!! Happy summer!

Excellent stay, clean, great location

We had a great time staying at this house. The house was large and incredibly accommodating for our big family. The hosts were so helpful and allowed us to get in to the property early once the cleaning was completed. This house is just a few houses away from the beach which was great for our family and almost 2 year old to get back and forth so easily. We would definitely book this property again!

The house was nice and very spacious. We had 11 family members and plenty of room. Great location, close to restaurants and beach all within easy walking distance.

Only knock on the house was the room with the bunk beds was the warmest. I noticed inside the closed it was hot, and it is where the attic entry is. Otherwise, the house was nice and big, in a perfect location, easily walkable to the beach, and the owner was very nice and responsive.
