Reviewer Comments: So we were very excited to stay here, upon arrival the place was very welcoming, upon entering the place was very cold, so we were very uncomfortable for the first hour until someone came to assist with relighting the pilot to the heating system. The place warmed and was pleasant until we noticed how poorly kept everything was. For the price we payed this is completely unacceptable. The walls were filthy (i have pics) and glasses and plates were dirty, and the worst and most disgusting thing was a duvet covered in blood!! Obviously there was some kind of bed bug problem and seemed to be just masked as opposed to being fixed. We had booked through Marriott and we are requesting a refund, this is very poor property management! We are appalled that this is how your properties are kept.

Great place to stay, had everything we needed, close to Northwoods Golf Course, river and not far from the beach. My wife and I have traveled to this area many times and staying in a rental property is by far the better option compared to a local hotel. When we return in the future, this rental will certainly be one of our options!

Reviewer Comments: Not having stayed in Rio Nido previously, we did not know what to expect. The cottage was in good shape, but the neighborhood is rundown and the road poorly maintained. Pros - the cottage was clean, and the neighborhood quiet and peaceful. The deck was pleasant, and we enjoyed the propane firepit/table. The kitchen was well equipped.However, the cottage was much smaller than expected, and the full bath extremely tiny. There is no closet in the main bedroom, and the only other closet was full of stuff, making it hard to hang clothing. The hottub was clean and warm, but has seen better days. The jets did not function with much force, making it not a great hot tub experience. We did not believe this was a malfunction, as the buttons that control the tub are quite worn - it just seems old.There is not much area to eat indoors, as there is only one dining table which is outside. The view from the front deck (pictured here) is of the neighbors trash collection of broken down washing machines and bicycles. As a airbnb host myself, I feel the description did not meet expectations. I would not rent that property again.

We loved this small but very well decorated home! The beds were SO comfortable and I loved the master bedroom high ceilings and morning light thru the green canopy. Kitchen had basic spices and oils which came in handy. Loved the deck and fire pit. Location was perfect too, 4 min drive to Guerneville. Only minus was the driveway was too small to park our small SUV so we had to park down the street but that was not a big deal.

Loved this sparkling clean, comfortable, charming spot. Location is great, easy to walk around with our dog. Will definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was exactly as described, and we had no issues with anything. The hot tub was wonderful to relax in after a long day of exploring the area. We didn't cook much but the home provided all of the pots and pans and dishes we needed. We hope to come back again soon, maybe when its warmer to enjoy the river and the surrounding area.

I want to start by saying all the things that happened were out of the companies control and they went above and beyond to correct every situation. The spa wasn’t working in our original booking and they were proactive in moving us before we even arrived. The new booking was fabulous at Villa Mimosa. We then had a few other issues, no fault to the company. However, they quickly responded and we were blown away by there more than generous response. We will absolutely rent with them again!

Lovely, well stocked home nestled among the redwoods. We loved the clean hot-tub and gas fire pit. Rooms were creatively decorated in the style of the property name. Neighbor has some large inquisitive dogs that would wander up onto the deck but that didn't bother our group.

The property was just as advertised. The house was spotless and very well appointed with everything one would need. The deck and hot tub were so relaxing nestled among the redwoods. The only issue was the parking situation. The parking spot is quite small, but take your time and you can get your car parked. We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return.

The hot tub was very well maintained and surrounded by redwoods. The bikes were ready to go in the garage! This was a top notch experience.

Overall, the place was very nice and we had no issues. Our favorite part was the jacuzzi, fire pit and outdoor area with all the incredible redwoods. We had never been to Rio Nido before and were little surprised by the area and the condition of some of the surrounding homes. We loved how close it was to the Armstrong Redwood State Reserve and went there several times.

Excellent place for a weekend get-away (2 moms, 2 kids and 2 teens). The game room was good entertainment. We enjoyed the bikes and hot tub, too! They provided snacks upon arrival and treats for our sweet, little 10-pounds Kings Charles Cavalier. Neighbors were friendly, too.

This house was so great. It's in a really cool cabin community and smack dab in the redwoods. The house has everything you could ask for and was super clean and nice. We loved our stay.

We had a lovely time at this house. Nicely located between Healdsburg, Sebastopol, Bodega, wineries, etc… House was clean and there were fresh flowers and snacks upon our arrival. The pillows on both beds were not ideal so we ended up going to get our own. Otherwise, we had a great stay!
