This was the perfect place for our family getaway. My parents and kids kept thanking me for booking this perfect place close to the beach.

We had a wonderful stay for a few days during the Thanksgiving Holiday. The location was very convenient to our family in Mount Pleasant, and it was a short distance from the grocery store and IOP restaurants. Ray was thorough in his response to our booking and provided great communication. The home is well appointed and steps away from the beach.

We were in town for a wedding event. This was a perfect place for us to stay with six adults. The property owner was quick to respond to all communication and check in was very easy. The home was well supplied with bedding, etc. and clean. We loved being so close to the beach! We hope to go back in the future.

Overall our stay was great, the house was clean and well maintained. The check in process was very easy and Ray answered all question in appropriate time frames. The House is in a great location for the beach and the pool. My family all said they would definitely return for another vacation. The only critique would be for 4 couples staying at the house, possibly adding another queen bed in the room with the two single beds. We were all very happy with the vacation and the owner Ray.

Fabulous house, great access to beach, terrific area with easy access to groceries and shopping. Our check in would have gone smoother had the host provided information through the vrbo app as expected.

This house is very comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. The property manager came over immediately to help us with the new TV. There’s a pool just steps away, and the ocean beach a very short walk down the same street. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

First time visitor to IOP. Location of this house relative to the beach is great. House was very clean, even the grill was spotless.

We had a wonderful stay at 1 Sea Shell Lane. Ray was communicative about an unexpected maintenance call and shipped us an item left behind. Thank you! The house was clean and comfortable and the proximity to the beach is awesome. We cooked a lot and felt the kitchen well stocked for the task.

We had a very nice stay at this beach house. We loved the easy access to the beach, just a couple of minutes walk. Very close to the grocery and bridge to Charleston. We rented bikes during our stay and found it to be a great area to ride, whether on the roads or on the beach. The house was reasonably comfortable. The queen suite on the first floor was nice but the bed was uncomfortable. Also, it would be nice if the locks were updated to allow keypad entry. Two keys were usually enough but making sure you had one was inconvenient and It was difficult to put the keys back in the secured box at the end of our stay. Mosquitoes are somewhat dreadful. Be prepared with Off. We left two days early due to concerns about Hurricane Ian. We would definitely stay again.

House was clean and had everything we needed. Close to the beach and pool. A very nice area.

The owner really did think of it all!! So many small extras that just made our stay easier since we flew in and weren’t able to bring much with us. And the location was fabulous!! So close to the pool and the beach! It doesn’t have a beach view, but honestly that’s the only thing it’s missing!! We found it didn’t detract from the trip at all! We had 5 adults and 2 young kids (4&2) and it was perfect to have kids and their parents on the first floor and the rest of the adults upstairs. Ray is very helpful and sends you info beforehand to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Highly recommend this property!!!

This was a perfect home for our family. Plenty of room, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The extra living room gave us space to spread out and still be in the same space. The kitchen had everything we needed. One of the best properties we've rented.

This house is VERY livable. We stayed for 2 weeks! Beach access is easy, the pool is a nice alternative to the beach, the air conditioning works GREAT, the beds are comfortable and the general house layout is perfect for gathering and for privacy. We would definitely stay here again, and the owner (Ray) was very easy to communicate with.

Perfect home for multigenerational family vacation including kids and grandparents! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and all the house and area have to offer. Ray was very communicative during booking, prior to checkin, and during stay. He even sent out information regarding IOP beach rentals and recommended restaurants a month out to allow sufficient time for making reservations during the busy season. Can’t beat the community pool shared among 12 houses but honestly felt like a private pool as few others ever there. We’re already talking about booking another summer vacation for next year and look forward to working with Ray again. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!
