We live directly across the path in Seaside and needed addtional room for family and friends to celebrate the impending marrigae of our daughter. Everything was perfect. We could have used better weather but that was beyond your control. Thank you for sharing your darling cottage.

Love the new master addition, and the home perfectly accommodated our family (grandparents, parents, and grandchildren). The only recommendation would be to add more seating on the porch, given how many the house can accommodate. Will definitely be back!

It's just a block from the beach which made getting to and from so easy with three small children. It's located so close to town, which we loved. Homeowner's Collection was fantastic in meeting all of our needs. The only drawback to the house layout is that the tower on the third floor is accessible by very steep stairs that are kind of like a ladder. If you have young children, it may need to be gated off.

We’ve been coming to Seaside for years and always look forward to returning. This was our first stay in Salty Dog, and we’d already reserved our return visit for even longer next time before we had to head home. As far as we’re concerned, the location is perfect and the home is beautifully furnished and very comfortable, whether it was just the 2 of us, or when we had 4 more of our family join us, most of them for a week. We appreciate furniture and appointment tastes when things prompt us to look at labels because we’d like to have something like that in our home, e.g. we made note of the king sized mattress brands since new ones are on a to-do list when we finish a remodeling project. We love Seaside and now we love Salty Dog, and it will be our go-to home away from home.

We stayed at Salty Dog last month and had the best time. The home is steps to the beach. It was well appointed and recently updated. The owners have impeccable taste! We enjoyed time with the family on the front porch. It was easy to let the kids out in the front and to the beach with no worry. We have stayed in many places in Seaside but nowhere twice. Salty Dog will be the first. We already booked next year!

The location was really great, close to the beach and town center. The downside was it was spring break and with a shortage of parking spaces, guests from other cottages kept getting our spaces. Even though this is on an older street in Seaside the decor was attractively updated, including nice baths, kitchen. The upstairs bedroom mattress and linens were not comfortable. The bedroom was clean, attractive, but the mattress was really lumpy, both my husband and I think that would be our biggest complaint, for sure! Also, the bottom sheet wouldn’t even stay in place - too small apparently. The cottage overall was very clean, but the floors not so much...even though they looked clean, our socks were dirty from the floors, but I give that a pass since we’re at the beach. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend if the mattresses were comfortable.

A quaint local area, beautiful home, very comfortable beds and lounge areas for relaxing. My family of five enjoyed every minute being there. Already planning our trip for next year!
