We had a great time at this cozy cabin by the River connected to grand Lake, it’s peaceful, and yet you can walk a few hundred yards down the street and be right downtown where all the amenities and food and people the Music were amazing. We really enjoyed our stay here at grand Lake. Thank you so much.

The cabin was exactly what we were hoping for, clean and comfortable. Perfect location along the water with beautiful views! Close enough to walk to town. We hope to go back again.

From this quiet cabin we had some nice walks along the stream and out onto a small peninsula which juts into and looks out onto the lake. We enjoyed the short walk into town and to the nearby beach which is a perfect location to view the Saturday evening fireworks show which marks the end of the annual Grand Lake US Constitution Week activities.
The owner, Calvin Ames, is very responsive and friendly. He always got back to us promptly, usually within a few minutes, whenever we had a suggestion or request.
We will be returning again next year.

It was a great property to be close to our friends in Lemmon Lodge. We enjoyed our stay. We would stay again, but the price is astronomical.

Although we spent little time in the cabin, it was comfortable and clean. The room with the bunk bed is perfect to put all your kids in while the parents can get their own master with a porch overlooking the river. It was really nice to have all the Keurig cups available for coffee in the morning. While we were there in the summer, it looks like it would be really cozy for fall and winter getaways.

Great location fabulous owner, so greatly appreciate going every year!! As a cancer patient, it’s a great gift to be able to go on vacation and Grandlake is beautiful! Would appreciate if one of the larger beds was not a foam mattress, they are hot and uncomfortable ,but we made do and hope someday they go back to a classic style of mattress…. This cabin is our family tradition and it is absolutely lovely!!

We absolutely LOVED everything about our stay. The house was clean and well equipped with everything you could need for a fun and relaxing stay. The location is just perfect! My kids enjoyed the kayaks with the private beach and playground. It truly was a dream getaway!! Thank you so much for sharing this piece of paradise with us!!

Great location, beautifully decorated and the wildlife! Enjoyed watching the moose, chipmunks and tiny grey squirrels. Short walk to stores, restaurants and lake. Very close to hiking, snow shoeing and snowmobiling areas. So fun!

We so appreciated our stay in a classic Colorado cabin right on the water and among gorgeous old pines. It was comfortable, quiet and peaceful, and we could easily walk to the lake or in to town. The owners really have it decorated with a mountain flair!

We loved staying at this cozy property! The cabin was cute with everything you need with a lovely backyard to enjoy the water. It was a great location too with just block walk to the main street restaurants and shops. I highly recommend this property and this gracious host!

Great Trip
Our family has been coming to the Lemmon Lodge for many years. We thoroughly enjoyed location and proximity to river. Access to the kayaks major plus! Lots of memories made this year fishing and hiking. Hope to return next year.

So many good things about this place
- meditating on the river in the mornings
- seeing goslings float by at the beach
- using the kayaks EVERY day on the lake
- fully equipped kitchen for cooking and grilling
- very private backyard area for hanging out with family
- big family room for playing games at night
- short walk to the point to grill s'mores
- come here again, soon, for a longer time- 7 days just seemed like it was BARELY enough time here
- great to work with, responsive, fair price for a fantastic location, really can't beat the privacy, quiet, and beach location

Saw a moose day one right outside the window and was an amazing treat. Moose Haven had everything we needed and the location on the river and proximity to town was amazing. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will absolutely be coming back! Thank you for sharing your home with our family!

Our 7th year family vaca at Moose Haven didn’t disappoint. Fishing on the point was best ever. Enjoyed evening fires, convenient use of gas grill, and new board games made family memories.

grand lake lemmon lodge
As always, we loved staying in your cabin and Lemmon Lodge. What a special place. My only three suggestions would be to fix the sliding screen door that is off from the kitchen area. It is very difficult to close and open. I would also recommend having screens on all of the windows so we can open them without insects coming in. More bath towels and kitchen towels would also be recommended. Thank you

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moose Haven in Lemmon lodge. Been visiting Grand Lake for many years and Lemmon is our favorite location. Can't beat the privacy and proximity to town. Would stay here again for sure.

Adorable, cozy cabin! You can’t beat the location, right on the water and short walk to the main street of town. Comfy beds, great kitchen with anything you could need, amazing shower water pressure and beautiful views that include moose strolling by in the yard! We loved it!!

The sound of the river at night is so soothing. It is within walking distance of The local marina. Cant find a better location in the three lakes area. The property manager is very accommodating within reason. The cabin is clean and cozy. Make sure to stock up on cords of wood. The cozy wood stove is very charming. Should give this place a one star so booking dates become free but that wouldn’t be right. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get away during any season.

Lemmon Lodge Moose Haven Cabin
Calvin was great! Followed up prior to our check in date to confirm we had gotten all the information needed to access the cabin. The cabin was just as pictured on the website! Cozy little cabin right on the river bank, we saw 4 moose during our time in Grand Lake, 2 of them right outside our cabin. The town of Grand Lake is beautiful with a friendly happy community of people. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
