The Sonoma farmhouse is clean and well located. The manager is available to answer questions online and the check in process is easy.

It was a great space for my family, my sister and brother-in-law, and my parents. The rooms were spacious and the living area accommodated the 8 of us well. Broadway Market was just a block away and was well stocked.

Our family extended our stay from traveling across the country for a local wedding to visit wineries. This cozy home was perfect for us and had everything we needed to visit wineries and restaurants nearby and play cards/games in the evening. Beds were super comfortable! Patio area was spectacular!!!

We had a wonderful three-night visit to Sonoma to celebrate some big birthdays. The house is exactly as advertised - gorgeous, clean, a perfect place to stay. Beds were comfortable, and the back patio and yard were the perfect places to relax after a long day in wine country. It is walkable to Sonoma Square - takes about 20-30 minutes to walk down. Thanks for offering such a wonderful property!

Beautiful home and very accommodating.

We were in town for a wedding at the lodge across the street. This was the perfect location close to the venue and walkable. House was clean and kids had plenty of space to play.

This house was perfect for our family. We had plenty of room and enjoyed using the kitchen. The location was nice for getting to the wineries. The tree out on the patio was a nice touch for the holidays!

This was the perfect place for our family to celebrate Thanksgiving. Great location in the heart of Sonoma with an easy walk to restaurants and shops on the Square. Loved being so close to town, yet on a quiet street. The house is set up beautifully with comfortable beds and seating and an amazing back deck to enjoy the weather. We can’t wait to return!

Really enjoyed our stay here. The home is great and is situated about 1 miles from center of Sonoma and 15-20 minutes to Napa. Quiet street and great backyard. Highly recommend anyone wanting to stay here you will love it. Plenty of room with 3 bedrooms.

We also walked to HopMonk, but that was a bit too long. However, driving downtown was fast and to the grocery store. The property was awesome, we loved the yard the yard games and the spaciousness of everything. The beds were comfy and everything was great. We all agreed we would definitely stay again. Our experience of staying in this house was a disaster. How the owner handled the issue made it even worse. We checked in on time and the house was a MESS ----- used sheets piled on the floor, garbage cans were full, kitchen countertops were dirty, leftover food in pantry drawer, sofa cushions stunk…we realized the house had not been cleaned! Another surprise, there is a two story house right on top of the backyard, no privacy at all. His pictures online are deceiving! We immediately attempted to contact the owner Milton, but no response. One hour later we tried again and finally he answered. He had no idea the cleaning team didn’t show up! Fast forward, we had to change plan for the night because leaving our belongings behind with cleaning service ongoing was not an option. After enduring two hours of loud vacuum noise, dirty laundry carried past us, all kind of chemical cleaning spray smells…our whole night was ruined. We asked Milton for compensation in the form of a one night refund, he offered 75% of this with no hesitation. We insisted on the one night refund, he said he had to talk to his partner. Next day he didn’t mention the 75% offer at all, he changed his offer to waiving the cleaning fee which equated to approximately 30% of our request or staying one more night for free. Really? What’s the difference between staying one night for free and a refund of one night? We believe Milton should have at least honored his original 75% offer. Accidents happen, as guests we expect the owner to do the right thing, keep your promise and handle the situation with honesty and integrity. We had a hard time finding these qualities from Milton. At the time of writing this review, we have received ZERO compensation from him.

First comment....when can we go back?! This was an absolutely gorgeous property. The simplistic & clean design was stunning. And we spent a lot of time enjoying the heck out of the large deck overlooking the meticulously landscaped backyard. We will for sure be staying here in the future!

We had a wonderful time while staying in the Sonoma farmhouse. There was plenty of room for the six of us. I was happy to find that it looked as good as the pictures on the VRBO site. We will be back next year!!

I brought my daughters and friends to celebrate my one's 21st. This house had PLENTY of room for the 6 of us but you could comfortably get up to 10 with the extra blow ups and the huge leather sofa. The back yard was lovely but it was a bit nippy for us SOCA gals to alfresco. The fire pit would have been great but the time was limited, so maybe next time! The hottub was enjoyed by 2 in the group. The house has no lack of kitchen supplies and all in all a perfect home away from home.....

We were pleased to find that the photographs on VRBO were an accurate depiction of the house. It was a perfect place for three couples. The house is light-filled and spacious with an open floor plan and a well appointed kitchen. The beds were comfortable with good quality bedding. The back deck and yard were a nice compliment to the interior space. Milton Boyd, the owner was very responsive to the few questions we had about the house once we checked in. We would definitely choose the house again.

Stayed three nights in this newly refinished home. Unfortunately, it rained two of our days, so we couldn't enjoy the backyard, but had a great time anyway. Spacious main room and bedrooms. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Grilled out twice. Location was great for reaching many vineyards in Sonoma and getting to Napa. Owner was very accommodating. Nice place.

This home was accommodating for a group of 7. Hottube location is not visible. Would recommend this home.

What a beautiful place to stay and the nicest owners! we had a group of friends stay there and everyone complimented me on how nice the home is and they felt so lucky to be so close to town. I highly recommend this home to everyone!

Our group of 6 had the best time renting this house! The location is wonderful and close to downtown Sonoma. The home was beautifully renovated with lovely finishes. We really enjoyed the fact that the living area of the house was so open. We could easily converse from the kitchen table into the kitchen and living room area. The kitchen was well appointed and we had no issue needing additional equipment for cooking our meals. And the outdoor space was phenomenal with a great fire pit and hot tub. The hot tub would be snug with more than 4 people, however it is nice to offer this. We will absolutely try to rent this home again on our next trip to Sonoma!

We loved our stay at the house. It has a great backyard for relaxing after a day of wine tasting, and a nice hot tub to soak any worries away. Loved our stay and would definitely book again.

Our group of friends enjoyed a fun and relaxing weekend at the Modern Sonoma Farmhouse. This house was the perfect place to stay during our visit to wine country. It was located close to the Sonoma historical sqaure. We enjoyed hanging out in the beautiful kitchen and amazing outdoor area. We would have enjoyed cooking or grilling at house if we hadn't already made dinner reservations. The home decor was beautifully decorated...very classic and clean! Milton was very helpful and we will definitely return again!
