Another nice stay, well maintained property and great location. Convenient. Very responsive to questions we had as it related to travel concerns as a result of recent flooding Vermont had undergone. WiFi could be better as family struggled to stream movies as we have done in the past.

We came to the area for an event so we weren’t there for the lake or the outdoors. It was ok for our purpose.

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable apartment. Two things that could be improved. It seems to be infestation of Japanese lady bugs 🐞 and ceiling fans are caked with dirt

Nice location lots to do

Our stay at the farmhouse apartment was perfect. My wife, dog and I wanted a relaxed foliage getaway and we were thrilled with our experience. Check in could not have been easier and the setting was roomy and cozy at the same time. The sliding doors onto a deck that overlooked the lake was glorious. We will most assuredly be back! Excellent location, and very clean comfortable, love the view of Lake Dunmore. Great community, pub was right across on the lake. We will definitely stay again!

We chose this location because it is centrally located for good hiking, and has a couple good golf courses within 25 minutes. We loved being on the lake, although we are not boaters or fisher persons. The adjacent campground ( mostly Rv”s) was surprisingly quiet, despite being Labor Day weekend. The apartment is furnished with all the basics, decent cookware, only 4 plates and service for 4 utensils. No sharp knives (except a couple steak knives). The kitchen/living room/eating area was quite warm while we were there, but the bedroom/tv room with a couple pull out couches was cooled by an air conditioner. The staff were very nice, and responded to our questions and concerns. We enjoyed hiking in very nearby Brandon State Park, the trail around Middlebury, and Vermont’s Long trail. The Nescobe golf course in Brandon was beautiful. We definitely will recommend the Moosalamo Suite, and the area to our friends, and when we return to Vermont.

We love our stay. We felt at home in this house. We were able to enjoy the lake and visit with our family. We look forward to visiting again.

Goldmine paradise surrounded by natural beauty. Peaceful, tranquil serenity. Nice beach and swim area. State boat access right near is an asset.

This is the second year in a row we've stayed for a few days. We really enjoyed our time here and will hopefully be back again sometime in the future!

Perfect home-base for our lake get-away. We have relatives on the lake so didn't need lakefront - and this was absolutely perfect for us. Very comfortable, great layout for 3 people & our dog. Parking, check-in, communication with hosts - all A+++. Thank you!

I have been summering at Lake Dunmore for more than 30 years. I have stayed at 2 other places over the years. This suite over exceeded my expectation. Loved our stay !

Immediately on arriving we started to relax. An adorable and amazing lofted apartment we were excited to settle into. It was a great place to relax and listen to the lake. We spent the weekend hiking AMAZING trails then kicking back in the deck in the evening watching the sun reflect of the mountains and lake as it slowly set. We will be back!

The house was as shown in pictures, very spacious and had everything. The location is amazing, you have a marina and a lake looking out your window. There were some issues with kitchen cleanliness which the owner promptly resolved once we contacted them. Overall, a wonderful stay

Affordable with nice location and so great to have our pups with us. Gorgeous spot and great amenities across the street. Getting internet connected was a major hassle and the TV did not offer the major networks. Also need more dishes in the kitchen. Overall had a great stay.

It was perfect place for our little family of four. The beach and restaurant across the street were great!

What a wonderful spot! First time to Lake Dunmore. Waterhouses are a little communities of the Suites / RV camp (right next door to house), shop, lake front and restaurant. The upstairs Moosalamoo suite was perfect size for 2 people (plus 1 dog), plenty of space, great kitchen for cooking. We did bring a few of our own essential cooking tools which was helpful (fry pan, chef knife, tongs, spatula). The bathroom was very nice with double sinks, walk in shower, linen closet. Only bathroom essential that was missing was some face tissues, so bring those if you have allergies! Bedroom had a queen bed, love seat, a second love seat with a twin pull out, AC, and deck with lounge overlooking the lake across the street. Lots of places to hang out, as well as the sitting area off of the kitchen with another love seat and chairs. We rented a kayak and SUP at the dock across the street, grabbed a snack at the Pub and always had a chair on the dock. Water was clean and not overly busy at any time. Everyone was so friendly and chatty. Loved watching all the boats and how everyone knew each other when they pulled up. We also brought the dog over at dusk when it quieted down to walk him on the greenspace of the dock area, he romped in the water and had plenty of space to run on his lead for a minute to tire him out! The local area is so accessible as well, did Middblebury for dinner one night (~15 min drive), went to Silver Lake Trail to hike (~10 min drive w/ easy parking). We may come back next weekend to camp out! Regardless we will be back and can see why its a family tradition spot every year! And we only came down for a staycation from Burlington!

Nice little quiet place. Easy to find and not too far from anything. Ideal for two people but worked for three of us. Would definitely recommend or stay again!

Enjoyed the views and quiet! Wi-fi works well, no cellphone. Heat was fine. Pub across the way is great; if you’re planning to cook, bring your own salt and measuring cup!

So this property was on the second story of a lovely home with a view of the lake. The layout and basic furnishings were top notch. For example, the couches, bed, furniture, kitchen layout etc. However, when you come expecting to cook and the kitchen is so poorly equipped, that is a disappointment. The T-Fal pot was peeling, the coffee pot was dirty, there was not enough silverware, no measuring cups, oven dishes to cook or bake in, there was a ton of empty cupboard space which should be used to store cooking supplies for the guests. In addition, there was no hairdryer, no bathmat, no kitchen towels and the shower curtain was a dirty liner. Since there was only one nearby restaurant, being able to cook at the property is essential. There are many articles online about how to supply a vacation rental. I suggest the owners provide what is lacking. In addition, I almost froze one of the nights. There was no directions on how to work heat. There seemed to be 2 systems but the thermostat appeared to need batteries. I tried calling the number provided but no answer. There should also be an after hours number posted in the unit.
