The location and grounds of this home can’t be beat. Everything except the bedrooms are open air (with 2 open air suites upstairs) and it is tranquil, calm and beautiful. Maria is warm and inviting, her meals are delicious, and she can assist with any arrangements for taxis or anything else. There are a few good restaurants within walking distance, the beach is beautiful and calm and the pool is delightful. Be sure to bring your mosquito repellent!! Also, it was a bit hot to be without air conditioning but Mar was quick to accommodate us with 3 air conditioned rooms. We had the whole place to ourselves and it was extremely relaxing. This property is older, so if you are looking for something new and luxurious you may want to stay elsewhere. But for us, it was lovely and simple. Also Maria has a little tienda across the street that stocks the essentials and there is a fruit truck that comes around every few days. But be sure to do your big grocery shopping in ixtapa. Troncones is a magical place and we can’t wait to come back!

Very nice property with multiple rooms for many guests. The only issue we found was multiple people entering and exiting with their children from the morning up until about noon each day. There was a lack of privacy until noon as there were multiple people working the property and they would bring their children along (I understand that this is a cultural norm but it felt a bit intrusive).

Wish the property had bicycles to use while here. Rentals in town were very expensive

Would definitely go back! Maria and her family are warm and accessible hosts; the beach is right there (as is a beachside palapa with much needed shade); the place is clean as can be and the location within walking distance of town is perfect. I recommend the Delphin Suite - upstairs with your own kitchen, bathroom and shared veranda. Loved it!!

We stayed at Casa Delfin for 6 nights and we will absolutely be back! We stayed in both the Green Room and the Delfin suite and both were clean and comfortable. Maria, Alberto and Jackie absolutely make this place! Very friendly, attentive and great food. I would recommend it to anyone.

Property was clean and basic. Great location right on beach. Very loosey goosey property management. Owners don't appear to be onsite. We checked in with local who does not speak English. No real explanation of how room operated. The beds were ok but not much bedding pillows were awful. Room door did not lock. Ok for a one night stay but would not stay long term.

We very much enjoyed our week long stay at Casa Delphin. Glen the property owner is extremely kind and hospitable. The booking includes breakfast every morning. Maria prepared a variety of delicious meals each morning. Something so simple goes a long ways in the overall experience. The convenience of having breakfats made each morning was a huge plus. The rooms all come with A/C which is definitely needed. The Casa has an open kitchen and living space that were very inviting for all guests. We met some wonderful people staying at the Casa and enjoyed the community environment that the property created. We loved having the pool to cool off in. The ocean is only steps away from the house. I'd definitly stay here again!
