My family of 5 just returned from vacationing at this great OIB cottage! It was easy to find, not too far of a drive from the grocery stores and surf shops, and most importantly, located at the best spot on the island. The house was not too big, yet roomy enough to provide everyone with comfortable space. My only hang-up was that when we arrived, there were a few broken items that seemed to have been left by the previous travelers. Just a few, (like a broken fridge shelf), a window blind wand, a lamp toggle, and a drapery rod. Also, there were a few framed pictures that appeared to come off their hangers. I suppose that's what happens when your stay is toward the end of Summer. Overall, it was a wonderful place. Had an awesome outdoor shower for washing off from a long day at the beach, a large built-in dining peninsula, and great outdoor decking that allows for amazing views of the water! Thank you so much to the cottage owners for sharing this great place!!! We would love to book it again!!!

I am a grandmother of 3 ranging in age of 13 to 2. I love the space we had, the access to the beach was right there. The only problem I had was the stairs, but only because I have arthritis in my knees. Beautiful place with a home feel to it. Thank you

Great location to beach. Loved the small town charm. House was very cozy and comfortable.

The owners of this property are awesome and we love coming here every year they are quick to reply if there is an issue and take care of everything and a timely manner. We can't wait for our next trip back!

Great Location. And well equipped. But some updates need to be done. For sure need to add an electrical outlet in the shared bathroom, other is too small to crowd into to share. Also something really got everyone with stuffy noses?. Overall it was the location that was the best.

We had an awesome time. The owner was easily accessible when we had a slight internet problem (working perfectly now). This house feels more like home than staying in someone’s house. I hope to come back here again.

This house has alot of room for family and just a short walk to a pretty secluded beach at the end of the island. Perfect for a getaway while social distancing.

Great location in the quiet north end of OIB. Well maintained, and owners were responsive to issues. Recommended!

Rental was clean and ready to go when we arrived. The owner checked in with us before our trip to see if we had questions. House is on the quiet end of the island with plenty of room on the beach to spread out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay this year and can’t wait to come back.

Awesome week in a beautiful place, right sized for us!

Our family of five (2 adults and 3 teens) LOVED the location of this house, steps out to the wide uncrowded beach. It was honestly better than being oceanfront because there were so few people down at the end of the island and the beach is so wide down there. The house was plenty cool during a week with 100+ degree heat indexes and the porches were wonderful for watching the sun rise and set. We loved the comfy sectional sofa and all the space of this house. Five stars from us and we plan to return!

This is our second year staying at this beach house we absolutely love it the perfect location for a quiet family week.

We enjoyed our stay so much! Family of six was more than comfortable in the house. Beautiful views and easy access to the beach. It was like a private beach as there were never many people on the beach. The outdoor shower made it so much easier to get the kids cleaned up and not drag sand in the house, lots of chairs, beach toys and other things provided. We absolutely loved our stay and would stay here again!

We had a great time! The weather was still nice enough that we could sit out on the beach and enjoy the ocean. We come to OIB every summer and we love staying on the east end of the island. This home was perfect for our family getaway!

We are beach people and this home was great for a number of reasons. 1) It is very close to the beach. One can come and go to the house with ease. It's close enough you don't have to worry about forgetting something 2) Its at the quiet end of the island - while this may be a detractor for others, we loved not having the noise from others 3) The owners provided chairs and umbrellas - we should have inquired about this because we lugged our own. 4) Plenty of beds. We slept seven comfortably. 5 It had a great sun deck All in all we loved it.
