The house is even more spacious and lovely in person. We were a group of 12 adults and everyone slept comfortably. There was also plenty of room in the basement for one of the couples to bring an extra air mattress since they did not want to share space in the twin bed area. We wanted for nothing but Tricia was always available for questions just in case. She was very clear about quiet hours and guest expectations, which is understandable considering how beautiful and tranquil the property is. Let Tricia know ahead of time if you are bringing more than 3 vehicles. Overall even though the weather was cold, we still had a great time and the hot tub was toasty! I can only imagine how wonderful the lake is during the summer months so definitely looking forward to visiting again.

We had an awesome family winter weekend at the lodge! The the place was simply beautiful and the communication with the support staff and service was outstanding. There are so many things for the entire family to do from a pool table to hot tub to games to the Sonos sound system. Would highly recommend and exceeded our expectations!

This property was absolutely amazing! Everything was extremely clean and the kitchen was well stocked with the pots, pans, and tools needed to cook our daily brunches! The hot tub was serviced daily to ensure it was clean and ready for use. Tricia was absolutely amazing! She was extremely responsive to questions about the property and recommendations about skiing and food. I can’t wait to visit again!!

What a wonderful place to stay! We loved everything!!!

We wanted a relaxing weekend, and that’s just what we got! Beautiful property and house, hiking trails nearby. Wineries, restaurants and shopping close by. Looking out at the lake from the hot tub with snow falling all around, just perfect!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Lakemore! It was a gorgeous property with every amenity we could imagine. The home is well designed and comfortable for many guests. We traveled with our parents, siblings, and cousins. There were 12 of us all together and the house accommodated us perfectly. Lots of toys and games for young children. We enjoyed being able to separate on multiple levels for play and conversation. We went in the fall and the lake views were stunning! God surely knows how to paint a picture. We couldn’t be happier with our stay and have memories to last for many years. Thank you Tricia for everything!

Truly enjoyed staying at the Lakemore Lodge. The view was beautiful. The property was gorgeous. The staff was friendly. The home is impeccable. My family and I had a great time. Looking forward to staying there again!

What a beautiful home, location, and setting for a long-overdue family get-together! We had plenty of space for the 8 of us in this beautiful home, and enjoyed the kayaks, SUP, fire pit, and lake access. We saw lots of great blue heron, a green heron, and even a bald eagle! There was plenty of space to hang out and play board games and make communal meals--the kitchen was beautifully appointed with everything we needed. Trish was just a text away and was very responsive. The home was a great location to hike at Sleeping Bear Dunes, bike the Leelanau wine trail, explore Fishtown in Leland, and tour the Village at Grand Traverse Commons, as well as sample the restaurants and shopping in Traverse City. The family was unanimous that we want to return!

The Lodge at Lakemore Retreat was the perfect family vacation spot. The owners are very hands-on, and were quick to respond to our questions and needs. The home was well-stocked with ample towels and basic supplies. Renting a boat and water “toys” was also easily done through Lakemore Marine. From the hot tub, to the fire pit, to the game room with pool table there was something for everyone!

The Lodge was absolutely perfect for our family of 10 to enjoy a balance of togetherness and privacy. The spot on Lake Arbutus is a secret gem that you won’t ever want to leave. The home is filled with thoughtful amenities and built with brilliant craftsmanship. We can’t wait to come back!

We have the most amazing week at this house. The lake was so calm and beautiful. The house was perfect. So many wonderful details that made our family vacation perfect. We will be back for years to come.

A beyond expectations house with great function, awesome views, superb management and a short 20 ride from TC!

Spotless, well-maintained and in a fantastic location for our getaway. The hosts provided wonderful information and communication before, during and after our stay to make sure that we (unfamiliar with the area) were comfortable and could find groceries, dining, and other activities. The hosts have thought about just about everything you need: beach towels, kayaks, hot tub, a well-appointed kitchen, music. It’s an absolutely wonderfully decorated home with ample space for everyone to sleep, eat and play. It’s such a special home - we felt like it was ours and took care to make sure everything was in its place when we left. Our host met us at check-in and check-out, and was very helpful with recommendations via text. The guys who maintain the property were there each day to check on the hot tub chemicals and to clean the grill/outdoor areas for us, but were never in the way. We loved having enough kayaks for everyone, and appreciated the quiet times on the lake since we didn’t have any boating needs. If you are thinking of working remotely, check out the room layouts to see if they work for you. There was not a desk anywhere private, which wasn’t a problem for us, but could be a factor for someone else.

The property is beautiful and Tricia is a wonderful host. Even though it was a bit chilly during our stay, the view of the water was gorgeous and we were able to enjoy the fire pit and hot tub.

We enjoyed our stay at the Lodge! Both the main floor and basement have amazing views of Arbutus Lake. The house is larger than you would expect from the pictures. The interior is beautiful and detailed. We enjoyed using the full kitchen - bakeware and cookware included. Outside setting was very relaxing!

This home is both stunning and cozy at that the same time! The view of the lake is extraordinary. I asked each of my family members their favorite room and not one of us could pick just one! It is so spacious and so much thought was put into the decor and all the amenities. The kitchen is a cooks dream. It was also spotless! Our host,Tricia, was SO accommodating and easy to work with. You could tell that she enjoys helping her house guests have a wonderful experience. And that we did! We are looking forward to renting this home again!

Everything was very well cared for a very new. Plenty of space and amenities. It would have been nice to have a closer/less snowy path to the hot tub, but we just shoveled it and made do! A great property!

We spent a week here with two other pod families and had a great time. There was plenty of room for each family — even with virtual school for 5 kids (the internet held up too!) The property has everything we needed and more. At some point there was a snow storm and the owner’s team had the main road completely cleared by early morning. You can tell that this is a really well managed and cared for property.

This property was perfect for a group, plenty to do even if you are just staying indoors. Plenty of room and space to sleep. I would recommend for everyone!

The house was beautiful and cozy and had everything we needed for our week after Christmas get away. It actually was bigger than we expected so we had plenty of space for our family to spread out. We will definitely be back!

Tricia’s rental is incredible. The views are majestic and it’s just 15 minutes to Traverse City. There is a great hot tub, beach area, fire pit, and the house itself is gorgeous and super spacious. Highly recommend!

We stayed at this amazing property to celebrate our daughters wedding. The backyard on the lake was a perfect setting for our small wedding. We had 12 total stay at "the lodge". The owner met us personally and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect day! We look forward to staying here again. House was the best Airbnb we've ever rented!

Had a fantastic time traveling with my family (including 2 infants!) Tricia was so welcoming, readily available with any questions we had. She helped us rent a boat for a day and we had a blast doing some tubing and exploring. The lake is perfect for the stand-up paddleboards, kayaks and canoes that are available. Location is excellent for day trips in the area- Old Mission peninsula, local wineries, hiking trails, etc. Would love to come back next year!

The house was perfect and the owner thought of everything. The house had everything you could need and the location was perfect for our hiking, biking and wine tasting excursions. Tricia could not have been more friendly or helpful. Just awesome to work with! We rented a boat for our stay and they took care of everything. Water was great and lake was quiet!!
