Zimmer und Bad war gut. Sonst nichts...
Das Frühstück war miserabel bestückt und ab 9.30 h wurde angefangen es abzubauen. Brötchen werden im Hause aufgebacken. Nichts vom Bäcker !! Unterirdisch.
Fernseher funktionierte an 2 von 3 Abenden nicht. Fehler konnte vom Hotel nicht behoben werden. Rezeption selten besetzt. Keine Möglichkeit, vor 18 h einen Kaffee oder Cappuccino zu erhalten. Restaurant/Bar geschlossen.
Essen im Restaurant schlecht, Preis nicht angemessen. Aussicht vom Zimmer auf den Parkplatz. Umfeld/Lage des Hotels asozial.
Kein einziges Handtuch im Wellnessbereich. Sauna nur 65 Grad warm. "Feuersauna" ohne Feuer....
Das ist kein Hotel, sondern ein Fitnessstudio mit ein paar Fremdenzimmern.

Wir haben 2 Tage Wellness im Essensio verbracht und waren begeistert. Ausstattung der Zimmer neu und top. Sport-Fläche und Spa-Bereich total klasse. Besonders die stündlichen Aufgüsse mit wechselnden Aromen in der Sauna, waren ein besonderes Highlight.
Das Personal und der Inhaber sind sehr, sehr nett und gastfreundlich. Das Frühstück hatte alles, was man braucht und ein Dinner im Restaurant bietet kulinarisch ausgefeilte Köstlichkeiten.
Wenn wir auf ganz hohem Niveau jammern würden, fehlte mittags für Hotelgäste im Spa-Bereich ein Mittagssnack. Da wir das vorher wussten, haben wir am Frühstücksbuffet Vorsorge getroffen.

The staff is very friendly and everyone very competent. The gym is highly equipped, with latest technology equipment. Saunas very well clean and with beautiful views! I couldn’t have relaxed better.
Unfortunately the time-table for saunas and Fitness room is short. So if you would like to spend the day out and relax early morning or late evening on weekends, that’s not possible. On Sundays for example the sauna and the gym is open after 10 only so if you are an early-bird for workout, you can’t rely on sundays in there.

Vor dem Zimmer 28 ist eine Baustelle. Ab 7.00 Uhr Baggerarbeiten.

Frühstück war leider etwas überlaufen, bzw. der Bereich war zu klein und zu wenig Personal. Zudem war die Qualität zwar gut, aber es gab keine große Auswahl, nichts besonderes.
Das der Saunabereich "öffentlich" ist. Dadurch ging ein wenig das exklusive verloren und wir mussten gezielt nach Saunahandtüchern fragen.

Das Zimmer war geräumig und war sehr modern und praktisch eingerichtet. Der Sport-& Wellnessbereich waren gut ausgestattet, mit allem, was man für gute Sporteinheiten benötigt. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und bot eine gute Auswahl.

Ruhige Lage, schönes und sauberes Zimmer, bequemes Bett, gutes Frühstück - mir hat alles gepasst. Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gerne habe ich mich in der Sauna entspannt. Für Fitness hatte ich leider keine Zeit, aber das Fitnessraum und Geräte haben mir sehr gefallen.

When I booked the room for our stay, it didn't say anywhere that the spa was open until 6pm.
So we didn't get to use it, also it doesn't mention anywhere that bathing suits are not allowed in the spa, which was a surprise to us.

This hotel succeeded my expectations by far. Huge modern room with very comfortable bed and a great bathroom. The hotel is around 3 years old so everything seems new and fresh. Breakfast was plentiful with all you would need (yoghurt, bread, pastry, eggs, bacon, cheese and cold cuts). We also had dinner there a few evenings and were pleasantly surprised of the quality of both the menu and the food. Its a 40 min commute with train to the Messe (3 euro). Would highly recommend.

Rooms felt very modern and new. The staff at the reception and restaurant were very friendly and helpful.
The restaurant has excellent food, so it is well worth having diner at the hotel restaurant!
Apparently the airconditioning was centrally controlled, therefore it was not possible to set the room to a cooler temperature. It was quite warm and in the middle of summer. The room was therefore quite warm, but not warm enough for the central A/C to kick in. For me at was too hot, so it is a strange for an otherwise modern and well facilitated hotel to not be able to control the temperature in your room. I recommend the hotel to change this, guests want to control there room temperature themselves, expecially at this price.

We were double charged!
...... 1st time by booking.com in advance; 2nd time by the staff in hotel on 15/Aug. As I recognised at home on 18/Aug, immediately contacted the hotel. Now (19/Aug afternoon) still waiting for their final reply and refund.

This is a nice 4* hotel that is designed around a large gym and wellness centre that are mainly used by non-hotel guests. The rooms are brand new, very clean and with modern sanitary facilities. The swimming pool is not a swimming pool but an unheated swimming pond that seems to be meant for the sauna guests. There is a small cosy terrace at the swimming pond and also a terrace at the restaurant. The restaurant (with bar) has a limited menu. The kitchen is very good.
But unfortunately, there are no staff, so the cook has to serve himself and the bar is not really open. The breakfast consists of a modest, but sufficient buffet, but also there the waiter had to go elsewhere at 10h00, so that he said at 9h45 that he had to close the buffet. This lack of service is a real pity, because it means that there is nothing else to do in the hotel. Otherwise it would be ideal to make use of the terrace, e.g. to read a book with a coffee after breakfast or a glass after dinner. But now everything is closed and the hotel guests have to go to their room at 21h30.

This is a very modern, clean, comfortable hotel located in a very quiet neighborhood. Their rooms are tastefully decorated to a very high standard - a far cry from what you expect from the big chain hotels. Their fitness and spa/sauna facilities are excellent.
Booking.com screwed up my reservation. I had reserved too double rooms. They told the hotel to reserve two single rooms for my party of two adults and two children. Fortunately, the hotel management stepped in and dealt with the issue really well. Nul points Booking, 10 points Essensio.
While their restaurant is very good the size of the portions served leaves much to be desired. Also, it is slightly surprising that the chef goes so heavy on the salt given that this is supposed to be fitness/wellness hotel.

It was a pleasant stay and we enjoyed the hotel and its facilities for our short stay. The spa area is nicely maintained and was not overrun. Bathrobes were provided in the hotel rooms, which were just a short walk away from both the wellness and workout areas. A dip in the natural outdoor pool provided a welcome refreshment.
It would be nice if hotel guests were told to pick up their towels and belongings, instead of claiming ownership over the lawn chairs by the pool - maybe a bad habit from their all-inclusive vacation. Not appropriate behaviour though.
Breakfast was a bit cumbersome, because one had to wait for an assortment of cold-cuts and cheeses (presented on the same plate) to be brought to the table. It seems wasteful, especially if one has certain likes and dislikes.

Very nice room (I had the superior one), an excellent dinner at a fair price and I could park my car directly on the big, free parking in front of the hotel. I loved the shower and the matress. From this point of view, finally I have found the ideal hotel for my stays nearby.
Breakfast is as from 7 am, even if the hotel offered ot arrange something earlier for me. However, I found breakfast somewhat basic (no joghurt, just filter coffee, no soy or vegetable milk).
