Kim, the owner was so very accommodating. The house & property was calming and quiet, with all the amenities one could want. It was within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Overall, it gave us the peace and relaxation we were hoping for. 👍👍

Amazing stay as always. The property is in the beginning of the forest, back yard is spacious and you can get views of elk grazing. Nice size decl for bbq with family and enjoy the nights. Close enough to town and restaurants. Only few mins to parks and 40 mins to nice lakes.

We really enjoyed our stay at the main cabin. The neighborhood was quiet, the cabin was well-stocked and clean. The deck was enjoyable in the mornings and at sunset, and the cabin was comfortable for our few days' stay. Very easy to check-in and reasonable check-out instructions. Would definitely stay here again, thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at Kim’s cabin. It fit our family perfectly! The cabin was clean and accommodations were comfortable! Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed!
Kim was easy to communicate with and very accommodating when we had something unexpected come up that we needed help resolving! She was very kind and helped us come up with a great solution and it all worked out beautifully!
Would highly recommend staying at her place!

Took our adult son and wife for a relaxing getaway. He has been undergoing intensive cancer treatments for 3 years and hasn't been able to leave Phoenix. He is still on crutches and his mobility is limited so this unit was perfect as it is one floor and no stairs going into the property. The nice deck out back was perfect. They also have 2 dogs and we were able to take them. The accommodations for pets was everything we could have asked for. Thank for providing this opportunity for him and his wife to get away from the city and breath some fresh air. Our daughter and her husband were able to join us on the second day and we rented the casita for them. The property manager for very helpful and accommodating. We would definitely rent again.

Amazing cabin as always. Was able to bring my dog since property had dog run. Great views, in the early morning there was a cow elk and her calf walking in back of property. Porch was nice to sit out and have coffee on in the am while it rained. Tv did not have internet but that is simple fix with firestick and the wifi. Was able to put on kid shows for little ones at night. Love this property , already planning another family trip here.

A nice quiet house centrally located for a weekend in Payson. The living room was perfect for hanging out, the deck is large and had a nice newer grill for use. Highly recommend for larger groups

Wonderful stay at the cabin in the woods. Fresh air. Other cabins nearby. Friendly neighbors. Simple, but comfortable and cozy. Highly recommend over any hotel. Many simple extras of extra pots, pans, tin foil, spices that make the stay so much more inviting. Look forward to future stays at the cabin in the woods.

Our family gathers here every year from MN, MO and AZ. Wonderful place to talk, eat and have fun! The deck is a relaxing area for the whole gang and we see Elk every year everyday we are there right in the backyard. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking any type of meal. The casita is such a nice touch for those wanting a little privacy or a quick getaway for those afternoon naps. We will be back next year!

My family and 2 close friends went up to play in the snow and relax.
House was great! Kim was wonderful to plan with. Location is perfect for being close to shops/stores but with a backyard set in enough to feel like you’re in the woods.
House was open enough to all have space (5people) and cozy enough to hang and play games and watch movies.
We will definitely be back and take advantage of the guest house too.

We had an amazing stay at this house. There was lots of room. The kitchen was fully stocked. The porch was amazing. The host was very helpful and easy to work with. The property was beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

The communication is on point every step on the process. The cabin was warm and cozy when we arrived and clean as could be. Had plenty of towels, bedding, kitchen supplies and all the basics needed. The kids loved the backyard and the neighbors are very friendly. We enjoyed the large bedrooms, giving us all plenty of space. This was a wonderful vacation for my family and we very much enjoyed our stay.

The home was cozy and well kept. The home was close to town which made going to stores and restaurants easy but also felt like it was in the woods since the neighborhood is quiet and dark. Check in was easy. Not a lot of check out requirements either which was nice. Everything was great. We will be booking again. Thanks for the great time.

The pictures don’t do this place Justice. The place is bigger than it looks and the beds are easily the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The house is stocked with all the dishes you could need. The casita adds extra room so you don’t feel cramped. My whole family loved this house and we would definitely stay here again! Great communication as well

We were here to do day hikes, and this home was the perfect base for our outings. It is right at the edge of town, but off the beaten path on a secluded cul de sac. Very large yard with many trees, and grazing elk at no extra charge. We even had bottled water waiting for our hikes. Very clean and very quiet.

We rented the entire property including the casita for our trip to Payson for a wedding. Great stay, house is as described, clean and well equipped. Back deck is really nice to hang out on and we had elk going through the yard.
Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Super clean and well stocked. It’s clear the owners stay here and enjoy the place. Kitchen has plenty of pans and spices. Sitting on the back deck eating breakfast is a treat. We saw a momma dear and her baby come through the area. We would stay here again.

Really great property overall. Has everything you need and more. The guest house guest bed had spiders on it. Other than that this place has everything you’ll need already. Amazing property in town and has the wilderness feel still.

Wonderful cabin/house!
We really enjoyed staying at this cabin. We saw elk almost every day in the yard! Was close to town as well. Would definitely stay again! Thank you for letting us stay at you’re wonderful cabin!

I enjoyed the home very much had everything we needed.the master bath was a huge hit with my family.i was hoping for some kind of view but all there was was trees and neighbors houses.parking was difficult with group.porch was good with grill.it rained friday afternoon great porch sitting.the only thing was after all you could smell was wet dog poop from neighbors dogs.all in all Payson was a great experience greats sites and weather.good .green Valley park at night with towns people and live bank was a plus

This was a very beautiful and comfortable cabin, my wife love it we are considering coming back.
We are considering coming back for our anniversary in July, also thank you Kim for letting us check in early we truly appreciate it and we enjoyed our time there with our family from out of town. Thank you.

Feels remote but isn't
This rental is located in Payson with quick access to grocery stores and restaurants, but being on the property itself it feels very remote. Property was exactly as expected and fit two families easily. Kitchen was well stocked etc. Easy access to Pine and Strawberry which we visited several times during our stay

Wonderful and relaxing !
House is great! Very modern with all the necessary kitchen stuff to cook good meals. Grocery stores and restaurants all really close by. Deck and yard are great for relaxing and bird watching. We had the Elk in the yard almost every day we were there! The hiking trails outside of Payson are perfect. We will be staying again real soon.

Great Stay
We rented this cabin for the weekend of our sons wedding in Payson.
Kim could not have been more responsive. The house and accommodations worked out perfect for our needs.
Well equipped kitchen and cabin.
