Nice d see pace for 5-6 people. Pink golf cart was the best!!

This was our second year in a row staying at Ann’s house in Fripp Island. We love Fripp and this house is perfect for our family of five. Clean, comfortable and plenty of space. Everything we needed for a great stay!

We had a wonderful time! The only thing I would suggest is upgrading to smart TVs. It’s nice to settle in with a movie to stream without a chrome cast or fire stick The golf cart is amazing. It’s such a relaxing house on a great part of the island. Sitting on the decks and reading a book is literally my favorite thing to do in the evenings I will definitely come back and I highly recommend this beach house! Slice of heaven!

There were a few hiccups at check in, but the overall stay was great and we would stay here again.

Was nervous bc I had not stayed on this side of the island - needless to say I’m already looking if we can book it again for next year.

We enjoyed this house immensely and we’re very grateful for the bottle of wine provided by the owner. The golf cart had plenty of pickup. The master mattress really needs to be replaced, but other than that, we found the house well-equipped and very comfortable for our family.

One of the nicer properties on Fripp! Having individual bathrooms for each room was a huge benefit and timesaver.

We are local so we are very familiar with the island. We typically stay in one house so this was our first time staying here. Great location and the golf cart was an added bonus. The kitchen is very limited in items. No bakeware or cutting board. Coffee maker looked new but did not work. We thankfully found the old one put away in a storage closet and used that one. Master bed was very comfortable! Overall, I would rate it a 6/10. Great home but needs improvement and a little updating.

The property is very nice. It is well furnished and the kitchen has every amenity you could expect. The golf cart is a great bonus when renting this home. If you have stayed on Fripp Island before, you understand the need for amenity cards. This unit does not add the cost of the amenity cards as part of the stated rate. We paid those separate. Overall, it was a relaxing experience and we recommend staying here to anyone else.

We stayed for 6 nights. The property was well maintained (Had a few light bulbs out) and well stocked. Everything worked as listed and we had a great time. We would stay there again if in the area.

This property was nicely furnished but is in need of a deep cleaning! Fortunately I always bring my own cleaning materials so most everything could be cleaned ! The ac unit was not working when we got there and the owner very promptly got in touch with someone to come and fix it ! Great proximity to the beach and golf cart was a plus !!

We’ve been renting vacation properties for 15+ years so I think I can give a fair review. The house is located 2 minutes (by golf cart) from the beach access/boardwalk. Super convenient! The golf cart was great…peppy and fun to drive. We explored the island every day and enjoyed it so much. Ann, the owner, is great to work with. She responded so quickly so any and every question/issue. You can tell she’s trying her best to make renters happy even though she’s not local. The house is lovely and in a great location. I think most have agreed there are some updates that could be made inside BUT please keep in mind this is a beach rental…short term. The pictures are very accurate and overall the houses is nice. Don’t hesitate to rent this house…you’ll enjoy it. It’s not fancy, or professionally decorated, but you will be happy with the house and cannot beat the location and price! Overall, we had a great vacation!!

We really enjoyed our week on Fripp. The house has a very nice location, just off the golf course. It was perfect for the four of us (two adults and two daughters, a teenager and one in early 20s). Having the golf cart provided was excellent: no need to get a rental, and definitely a highlight for the week. We enjoyed riding around, seeing the deers. Great communication with Ann. My family of four plus one guest really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and spacious. We all slept well in the beds and did a lot of cooking in the kitchen. The kitchen had almost everything I needed. The only thing I had to purchase was some plastic containers to hold left overs and dips. The golf cart was a nice bonus. It was actually a nice golf cart that ran really well (this is not always the case with some houses). We had a great time!! I would definitely stay here again.

The rental home was very well maintained and nicely furnished. If there is anything I might change, it might be to cut or trim some of the palms in the back of he house. It obstructs the view of the golf course.

The kids loved how centrally located this house was. Right on the fairway, so just a few steps to the pond on the course. Beds were comfortable, house was nicely furnished. Kitchen had most of what we needed, including a basic starter set of essential paper products, detergent and trash bags. Owner was responsive to all my questions and wonderful to work with. Loved having the golf cart already on property and not have to deal with rental company. Bikes need replacing or overhaul...sea air has gotten to them. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely stay! Chilly, but beautiful week at Fripp Island! Love this place!

The house is very nice, it needs a deep cleaning. Our name was not left at the gate so if I didn't have the agreement printed out, we would not have been allowed in. As far as the house goes, the AC on the main floor did not work very well......when we cooked dinner we could not get it to cool below 80. The dishwasher was falling out & the stove door did not close well so the heat was escaping. The steering or alignment on the golf cart was way off. We enjoyed our stay, attention to these items would have made it even better!

Home exceeded our expectations, would definitely stay at this home again.

We loved the location of the house. Close to the marina and a short cart ride to the beach. Yet off the beaten path which help us avoid crowds. We liked the layout of the house. Many porches to hang out on with a view of the golf course and pond. Luckily, a golf cart came with the house b/c the all the golf carts were booked for the week when we got there. So if you need to book an extra one when you rent the house don’t wait until you get there. We had a wonderful relaxing week.

We've stayed on Fripp Island several times over the last decade, and had families members stay in the homes near this property before. We decided last minute to take a family trip to the FI, and rented this unit near the marina (hoping for a similar experience to previous stays). Unfortunately, upon checking-in, the unit was in a subpar cleanliness state, and this, during Covid times, when we expected additional cleaning measures from a VRBO - not less. The air vents and door jams appear to have mold growing all our them - and a lot of it. The door sills had dead bugs. When we took a wet wipe to the couch, a disgusting film came off. We were obviously disappointed. Upon calling the property owner, she was very sympathetic and offered to have someone come to clean the unit for us. We declined, stating that we didn't feel comfortable having more people come into the space during Covid times (that's one is on us, I understand). We spent a few hours disinfecting the space, scrubbing bannisters, flushing dead bugs, and wiping down the furniture. It got to the point where we decided to vacate the space after one night. Upon letting the property manager know that we decided to vacate, we asked for a refund on the space, which was ultimately declined since the cleanliness of the space met her property manager's expectations. The unit owner also took a seemingly aggressive stance with us, knowing that reviews posted on her unit are very important for renters. My family decided that pursuing a negative back and forth exchange for a refund was a poor use of our vacation time, so we walked away from the situation, leaving the unit in a much better condition than when we found it. My advice to the unit owner was to take a better position with her management company on the overall cleanliness of her space - especially during Covid times when renters are more sensitive than ever to a space that is not their own.

Very difficult time reaching owner prior to trip. Upon arrival house was filthy but upon finally reaching the owner it was thankfully cleaned that night. The owner shared with us that her previous rental manager does not work for her anymore so she was unprepared for the task.... we do not know the current property management situation. The house is perfectly satisfactory. Great location and great washer & dryer.

the house was lovely, well furnished and all the needed amenities. Unfortunately, the HVAC unit dies on the day of our arrival. The indoor temperature was in the 50's in December. The owner was quick to respond, and sent a repairman. Unfortunately, the needed part through Carolina Air was not going to be available until our check out day. The owner had a space heater brought in, and that helped. It had to be moved from room to room to help with warmth. Otherwise, we had a good experience.

Everything was excellent, we really enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful and has all the amenities anyone would need. The golf cart is awesome and very fun to drive too.

Cute house in great location.

The house was a great place for my family to get in a last of the summer getaway! We enjoyed the home and found it to be very comfortable for us to relax in. The use of the golf cart for beach/ pool trips and nightly wildlife viewing was terrific. All in all we had fun staying at this property!

We were very pleased with our stay, we will stay at this rental again. The house was very clean on the inside. Everyone enjoyed the golf cart which was a great help going to the beach and for the couples to go out and explore. We also enjoyed the bikes, we could not find a tool to lower the seat on the girl bike, the seat is very high. We did do a few minor repairs; fixed the handrail going upstairs, replaced a few lightbulbs, and cleaned the garage area. Just a couple of suggesions. First, in the twin bedroom the bed on the right side of the room needs a new boxspring, the bed lays at an angle. We put books under the legs at the bottom of bed to get it level, this helped the problem but something needs to be done. Second, the outside area around the front door needs to be cleaned, not very welcoming at first sight.

We had a wonderful few days at fripp island. There were a few things at the house but the manger told me they were being fixed. Great location. Right on one of the main roads.

Great place to stay. Clean. Tons of room. Nice golf cart.
