This was our first time out to the belgrade lakes region and we loved the Wildwood estates neighborhood. Vera's house was beautifully built and very clean and comfortable for our family. We enjoyed the public beach very much and would love to return.

We were looking for a property for a recent visit with our daughter who is a student at UMaine Farmington (about 20-25 minutes away.) We are glad we chose this location, and would book it again. It's a lovely home on a quiet road, just a few minutes walk to the private beach on the beautiful lake. The place is open and airy, and our party of five spread out nicely in the three bedrooms. The house was clean, cozy, and well stocked. We were able to host my daughter and a couple of her friends for a home cooked meal each night. The kitchen with island is open to the living room, which made conversation while meal prepping easy to do. We ate meals and played cards around the table in the adjoining room (the extra table and chairs provided were a nice bonus.) The TV, cable and wifi were good, and the kids enjoyed the ping pong table in the basement. The area is beautiful, the house is lovely, and the weekend was very relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable. We look forward to coming back.

We enjoyed our stay, everything was clean and comfortable. We did not realize how far away the property was from Fairfield, this is where family and friends are. Other than that we had an excellent time

The cottage was extremely comfortable, warm and easy to live-in. It is close to Belgrade Lakes town and to fantastic hiking trails. Highly recommend this property.

We were impressed with how clean this cabin is kept! You can tell the owners go out of their way to try to think of everything to make it a comfortable vacation spot! We did wish that the TV was larger, that there were TVs in the bedrooms and that there was streaming (smart tv) but we were traveling with a toddler and a lot of people might not watch TV in such a beautiful location! The shower was dark but the supplies were well stocked! The owners were very helpful with directions. Be sure to use Apple Maps to find it as several map aps don’t recognize the address. This was a great place to make family memories and we’d love to vacation here again!

This is a lovely property with ample rooms for different family members to read, watch TV, or play. While not technically "lakefront" the lake is in view directly in front of you, and it's a 2-minute walk to the beach. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet.

Vera thought of everything. I can't say that with most owners..there is usually something missing, especially in the kitchen department. The beds were comfortable, the locations was very pleasant and the furniture was very comfortable. Perfect for a couple. It's so nice when the owner doesn't skimp, to make sure the guests have everything they need. It's just going the extra mile and makes all the difference in the world. We agree with all the rest of the positive reviews for this vacation home. My kids had a great time playing in the yard and watching evening TV in the large vaulted ceiling living room. The knotty pine through out the house is amazing. With my construction background, I can tell someone spent a lot of effort, time and care in building this home. Thank you to the owners!

The house was comfortable and very clean. We got to swim at the lake just a five minute walk down the street. We were there to get away from everything and relax and that is just what we did!

From the moment we drove into the lake community we felt peace and tranquility. The house was perfect for our family of 5 and for a couple of our nights 2 grandparents came to stay. The community beach was spacious and we were often the only people down in the water in the mornings. In the afternoons there were a few other nice, friendly families which delighted our kids to make friends on vacation. Kayaking on the lake was also so peaceful as there were only a handful of other boaters out, even on the weekend in August! We even had a fire in the fire pit and watched the meteor shower late into the night. We also did two local hikes with the kids that were great. We love our time there and were sad to leave. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

This property is wonderfully maintained and spotless. It's a very short walk to the common lake access (a lovely beach that's not overcrowded) and even though it's not "lake front" you can see glimpses of the water through the trees. The air conditioning was a real plus for several very humid days!

Great location! Lots of space. A min walk to the beach and short drive to the village and Waterville/Augusta. 2nd year renting and would do it again!

We spent a lovely weekend here while visiting our son at a nearby camp. The house was spotless, and we were very grateful for the central air conditioning when temps reached the high 90’s!

We enjoyed the beauty of the house and proximity to the association beach.

Our family & friends thoroughly enjoyed the week long stay in this lovely cottage. The occasion was due to a family wedding & family & friends coming in for a week long stay to celebrate the wedding. The cottage inside and out is beautiful. Inside it is warm, up to date decorated, and cabin quaint. The owners supplied all info needed to make the stay enjoyable, and promptly answered any questions. As already stated, it is a lovely cottage, and was a great week.

We had a fabulous time at this vacation home in Rome Maine! Great location and accommodations, we would stay there again for sure!!

Perfect for our family of 6!! Well stocked for cooking, close to the beach and surrounding towns - this is our second time staying here and we loved it!

This cottage is absolutely lovely, comfortable and very well equipped! The only note is that while the combo kitchen/living room does have AC, the bedrooms do not. Nights were on the cooler side so we were fine. I would still highly recommend!

I stayed here for four nights over weekend in late May. It’s about 35 minutes from Waterville and a pleasant drive for a family with a student graduating from college. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is very well appointed. They even have sharp knives and a non stick pan! The owners were very responsive and extremely gracious when I had a couple of problems. This was a wonderful place to stay. I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful visit to this beautiful and well-appointed cabin. The cabin is relatively new and beautifully designed. It was clean and organized, and included all of the necessary modern conveniences including AC and internet. The cabin is located conveniently to the Belgrade Highlands (including wonderful hiking) and the Belgrade Lakes (including canoeing on Great Pond). It is a little bit further however to the east coast of Lake Messalonskee than we anticipated given the lake geography. Many thanks to our hosts. We hope to visit again some day!

Wonderful July stay in quintessential Maine "camp" area! The cabin was new, clean, cozy and had everything we needed for our family vacation. The lake down the street was picturesque! The loft area was perfect for our teen boys and the cabin was well air-conditioned and comfy. This is definitely a place to come to and relax and experience a cabin stay in Maine.

We found the house perfect for our 5 day family getaway. The house was in great condition! It was located a short walk from the beach where the kids enjoyed swimming. We found a few local hiking trails perfect for younger kids. Day's country store had all the supplies we needed. We did not use a boat, but would think it a great lake to boat on. The area is quite at night. Even on the day it rained, we had fun. I am giving it 5 stars, but had two minor complaints. 1) There was only enough outdoor seating for 4 so we had to use some indoor chairs outside. 2) There are many knives, but I found only 2 small ones that were sharp enough to prepare food - the rest were effectively butter knives.

The most impression and eye catching scene is beautiful, wooden planks throughout the house. A natural woody fragrance is most welcome and a relaxing agent. Well prepared kitchen, bath necessities, comfortable beds, everything is very clean and organized , easily reached. Convenient location, some 35 min to the capital August, and 1 hr to Portland. We were very happy to spend 3 nights here.

This beautiful and spotless cabin near the lake was the perfect getaway. We loved the front porch where we ate all our meals and the small beach down the road with its clear water and lovely setting. The house was well-equipped and perfectly maintained and the hosts were very responsive to questions before and during our stay. We would highly recommend this property.

We stayed at this cabin for four days. It was beautiful, clean and well maintained. contained everything we needed.The beds were comfortable, rooms decorated very nice. Close to the beach, it just took us a few minutes walking there. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
