Perfect retreat after fun filled days in the sun. Furniture was so comfy and the kitchen was incredible. This place is up in elevation with majestic stargazing yet so close to everything. Hot summer days and cool nights on the mountain - perfect for sleeping. Mike was prompt with communication and provided everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Mike's cabin in upper Kingsbury had everything we needed and more. The instructions provided were detailed and we had no problem navigating use of amenities provided The cabin and deck provided wonderful views and we were able to relax out side or playing pool in the evenings. We loved how it was out far enough to be away from the traffic and people at South Shore, but close enough to easily get down to the lake and restuarants.

The woodworking details are beautiful, clean modern appliances, spacious kitchen, the beds and couch were so comfortable.

This house had everything. Beautiful home, complete with all the extras to make the stay enjoyable. Mike was easily reached by email for questions. I think it would be important to include in the post a comment regarding access to the property in snowy conditions. People come here from all over the world to ski at Tahoe. To get to the house you need 4 wheel drive with snow tires on all wheels and should have chains in the vehicle.

Can’t say enough good things about Mike’s cabin. It’s in a beautiful, quiet and breathtaking neighborhood and has all the amenities. We were snowed in during the massive storm this past MLK holiday weekend and enjoyed playing pool, watching football by the fire and cooking amazing meals. Mike is a great host with an amazing cabin. Hope to get the opportunity to spend another weekend there next year!

This cabin is really beautiful and cozy. We stayed over Thanksgiving weekend. There was a perfect snow hill for the kids to sled down. It's only a 10 minute drive to the casinos and shopping. The rooms are spacious. The beds have heated blankets on top and kept us warm through the night. The living room area is perfect for a family. The fireplace really gives off good heat. The kitchen is big and has everything to cook a Thanksgiving dinner. Overall a great cabin and we are definitely going to come back.

We had a wonderful reunion/retreat with 2 other couples. We have been friends for many years but not have been together for over 8 years. This home was perfect for our get together for the week! It was close enough to all the activities and venues - only about 10-15 minutes away. But far enough away that the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals with lots of room for us to prepare the food. The deck was perfect to enjoy coffee in the morning and dinner in the evening. The bedrooms we spacious and the beds were comfy. Mike is a great host and prompt at answering any questions we had. This was my first experience at renting a home for vacation. Any future places will have to meet up to the exceptional standards of this home.

We had a great time in S. Lake Tahoe. the weather was perfect for our getaway, going from temps over 100 degrees to lows in the 30's. the house was set up perfect with a feeling of being at home. Everything we needed was there. Close proximity to everything was great also. Hope to do it again soon.

Stayed for 4 nights and had an amazing time with the family. Playing pool, BBQ, relaxing, and enjoyed the fire pit. Felt it was very clean and well maintained overall. Kitchen was fully stocked with virtually any utensil you’d need. Enjoyed the sound system for music and TV. Would definitely stay again!

I stayed at this cabin for a few nights with my wife and 9 year old son over spring break. We have stayed in various other cabins in the area over the years around the same time of year, but we all agreed that this has been our favorite so far. The cabin itself is very nice, well-appointed, clean, modern and well-designed. The location is great as well, situated in a sparse neighborhood of similar homes that are far enough apart so you still feel you have some privacy but you're not in the middle of nowhere. It is a very quiet neighborhood as well. Parking was easy and there are only a few steps to go up to the entry, as opposed to some other cabins in the area that have tons of stairs that can be brutal to us lowlanders who need more air! We enjoyed the pool table very much and the large deck, wood-burning fireplace and cozy living room and TV were all great. The beds and bedding are very nice and comfortable, and the bathrooms were very large and nicely updated. There are areas around the cabin that are good for kids to play and sled, and there is also a fire ring in the yard that we didn't get to use, but hope to next time. The owner was easy to communicate with and provided detailed instructions before and at the cabin, as well as recommendations for activities and dining and so forth in the area. As I said, this was the best cabin we have ever stayed at in Tahoe and we definitely intend to come back. If you are on the fence, I can guarantee you will be happy if you book this place!

We had a perfect winter/ski weekend at this gorgeous home. The property is literally minutes from the Heavenly lifts and is in a quiet neighborhood with a great yard for sledding and snow man making. The home is spacious and comfortable and the kitchen is very well stocked. The views from the living room and deck are majestic. The owner was great to work with and provided detailed information on the home and the area. We will definitely rent this every time we go to South Lake Tahoe!

I just have to say WOW!!!! From booking through VRBO to leaving Tahoe - this has been the most amazing family vacation and BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!! Mike, thank you for all of your help and making our time so special! We pulled up into the driveway and noticed the privacy of the cabin right away! Immediately, we felt at home when we stepped through the front door! This beautiful, well-maintained, high quality home was so incredibly clean and warm! It felt like HOME! When my daughter and I went upstairs to the living space we were jumping up and down for joy because it was so perfect for the week we were to spend together there! The VIEWS were just AWESOME~ we spent hours simply looking out the window!! (well, I did!) The open concept design was great for our family game and movie times (and we had lots of those because we were snowed in for three days! as was all of Tahoe because of the historic snow fall) The large kitchen was perfect and completely equipped for preparing and cooking Christmas dinner and I (mom) could fully engage with everyone while busy in the kitchen! The pool table was great fun for all! Our adult children are now quite proficient - (again, this helped while being snowed in) We slept great in warm, comfy beds!! The master bedroom shower was luxurious and perfect for singing :)) We were able to get out and ski one day - the cabin is not too far from Stagecoach at Heavenly! The mini Market had everything we needed to stock up on more food! Again, thank you Mike for an amazing holiday! Even Snow Plower Bruce was incredibly helpful. Our time here was nothing short of blessed and magical, while being so restful and comfortable! This may become a new family tradition! We will definitely be back!!!!

The property is not only conveniently located but beautiful! The communication with Michael at time of booking and prior to arriving was great and easy. The property felt like being at home with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen to the board games & TV channels. Enough room for everyone and loved the open concept floorplan. Would highly recommend and can't wait to book again in spring to enjoy the outside deck & firepit.
