This is a quiet cabin in the woods and exactly what we were looking for. Host was great and always had time for us if we had questions or needed anything. Fenced yard was perfect for our dog who travelled with us. Would definitely stay here again.

We always love to rent a cabin to get away for a few days in Pigeon Forge for privacy and peacefulness. So we were pleased to just have a few days to ourselves. When we rented the cabin the initial payment was paid at the time of reserving. The second payment was to be paid on the day of arrival. I assumed it was done automatically, but it wasn't. Again, we just wanted to get away for privacy and peacefulness, so I wasn't looking at my phone or emails (mainly because I didn't have good service). I received texts, 2 emails when I did have service, and a note on the outside of the cabin to pay the second portion of the cabin rental. Again, I assumed it was drafted automatically, which was my error. The pros of this cabin are definitely the porch, the fenced-in area for our toy Aussie dog, the view, and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The cons of this cabin are the stairs going up to the loft. They were not closed in so our dog wanted to jump between the steps. In the loft, there are 2 areas on each side of the railing next to the wall where our dog could have jumped down. We closed those off immediately. The cast iron tub was extremely slippery and difficult to take a shower in. I'm a small lady (5'5 140lbs) and I had to hold on to the curtain rod around the top to turn around and to keep from falling. The stairs and tub could be extremely dangerous for an elderly person. The toilet stopped up twice. The cabin wasn't as clean as it should have been.

Cabin was exactly as described. Very clean. AC worked great!!! So thankful for that!

Great for two people. Very clean, looking like just upgreated, painted, some new bathroom items, bath tub a little hard to get in and out. Great gas fire place. Grill is new, many more Great things. Owners easily contacted.

We were surprised to see the inside of this wonderful cottage. Small but quaint, although plenty of space that suits your needs, such a homey environment. Loved the porch rockers and swing. Our dog Cooper Lee was so happy and fun, he played on the stairs, and what caught my eye to rent this cottage was the notable fenced play areas, his protection was top on our list. Very quite area not far from the parkway. Small but very comfortable for 2 and a pet.

The property was as stated. Nice cabin, great for the dogs with gates on the deck and a fenced in yard. A little weed wacking could help the overall appearance of the yard. The cabin itself was very nice. Had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Well kept. Great place to get away from phones ringing and the need to work around ones home. Very peaceful. Wider roads to get to cabin would be ideal. Regardless of road width;. WE enjoyed our stay.

Location was perfect for what we wanted to do. Property manager was quick to respond to a mix up that was our fault. We'll be staying here again.

We did not stay at the cabin. We are in our 70s and I thought the bedroom and bathroom were on the same floor. We would not have been able to maneuver the stairs at night. The cabin was clean, but not for us. We went to a motel.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in the Peaceful Cottage. It was spotless, contained everything we needed and Tim was a pleasure to deal with. Beautiful, quiet location. Highly recommend.

This place was nestled in the mountains. It was quiet and serene like I was in the south of the park far from any roads. There was even an eastern bluebird family living in the bluebird box. At the same time, it only took about 15 minutes to get to everything, Pidgeon Forge, Gatlinburg, or the park entrance. It couldn't have been better. I loved sitting on that deck. I ran into the host while he was tidying the other cabin, and he is a great guy. Everyone we met in Tennessee was very friendly.

It was just like the picture The red umbrella on the deck is what sold me!!! Tim -owner was very helpful and friendly. Our 2 small dogs felt like they were at home. Loved the porch and deck and the fenced in yard to runaround. Enjoyed the walk together as a family and the peacefulness of the area This is a must for a getaway with everything you need to stay here!!! The whole experience was excellent and easy. The property owner is laid back and a phone call or text away with any questions or concerns to resolve. We had no issues. Loved it!! Highly recommend.

Cottage was perfect for a weekend away in the mountains. It had everything we needed for the stay, was in a great location, and very pet friendly. Will definitely consider renting again when in the area.

The place was as described.It was clean,with plenty of stuff for a great getaway.Driveway is somewhat tight,but not too bad(I managed it just fine in a Ford Fusion).The fenced in yard & deck was very nice,our bassett hound loved the place.I do recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice getaway.

We had a nice weekend at one of Tim's cabins. Location is secluded with a great view, yet is only a few minutes from the parkway. Having a fenced in yard/deck was really convenient since we had our dog with us. The house was very clean upon arrival and there were complimentary bottles of water and dog treats. Tim was helpful and answered all of our questions that we had about the area. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend this place to anyone considering staying in the area.

We enjoyed our stay. Parking was a little scary, narrow path to turn around. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed. WiFi was not very good but Tim tried to get it working. This would be a great little bungalow for younger couples. The stairs were are not for older folks with bad knees. Especially if you need to use the bathroom several times a night (bathroom is downstairs). Lighting on the deck could be better. The solar lights weren’t working. Overall, this is a great place for a quiet, secluded area to enjoy the beautiful mountains of Pigeon Forge, TN!

We really enjoyed the beauty of this cabin. It was just big enough for the two of us and our fur baby. Very close to all the attractions of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but yet secluded enough to never know it! Would definitely recommend!

Went looking for a peaceful place to reflect and grieve, just me and my 2 corgis. Was fabulous for the mind, heart and spirit. Looking for a time to go again when friends can get the next cabin over too.

The cabin was cozy, peaceful and a especially nice for our dog. The fenced yard and deck let us be able to relax outside and enjoy the mountains. The gas fire place was a great way to start the day and wind down the evening. We will stay here again when we return to the Smoky Mountains.

Nice little rental. The fenced in yard was great for our dog. There were some minor issues. As others have stated, the stairs are a little scary for us older people who have to get up in the night to go to the bathroom. Also the shower curtain was a pain, I just opted for baths. Water pressure in the bathroom sink was non existent, practically a drip. But ok everywhere else, just have to use the kitchen sink. There was no internet. My husband had work to do and was unable to do it with no signal. The footrest on one side of the couch is broken but I could get it to work if I messed with it a little. The bed was comfortable. It was very clean. We left behind our digs harness and Tim was nice enough to mail it back to us. This is a great rental if you have pets but we will probably opt for one with a bathroom near the bedroom. I knew the arrangement going in, I just didn't realize how scary the steps were. I'm 64 and have fallen on steps in the past so I wasn't a fan of these. All in all, we had a good relaxing time. The problems we had were minimal. Tim had the refrigerator stocked with bottled water and dog treats available. Would recommend as long as you don't mind no internet and the stairs.

Easy booking, pleasant and helpful host, very clean overall, and nice private area. Loved the fenced in yard for the dogs and the big deck. Equipped with plenty of towels, dishes and bottled water; very helpful! The driveway can be a little tricky, other than that no complaints! We would definitely come back. :)

When we arrived, we got our dogs out and put them on the porch. We then went back to our Jeep Grand Cherokee and got some of our things. Within 3 minutes after we got there a bear climbed in our vehicle and took food. It seemed like he was waiting. Make sure you close all doors when you get anything out of the car. The fenced in yard for the dogs was fine but on the outside of the fence everything was over grown. A lot of weeds. Nothing like the pictures that were took looking at the fenced in yard on the VRBO website. The refrigerator had food left over from other people in the drawer and in the freezer. Could not have cleaned that well. Water pressure on the bathroom sink is dismal. It takes quite a while to fill a small glass of water that also had a yellowish tint to it. The tub is difficult to get in and out. It's also a hazard to be in the tub without a non-slip mat in there. Nothing but slippery porcelain. We had to hold on to each other to prevent slipping and falling. We went to Walmart the next day and purchased one. Of course, we took it home when we left. Absolutely no internet service. Our phones show it connected with full bars, but no service. We have an iphone and a Galaxy. Roku won't work so don't bother. The place had picturesque views at one time but now it's overgrown with power lines right in front of you. The recliner couch was broken, and I told Tim but evidently, he doesn't care. There are a lot of solar lights around the porch and deck but about 5 out of 18 don't work. Very dark at night and we couldn't enjoy the outside. Sitting on the couch and the upholstered chair for an hour or more the back of our legs and arms were getting bit. I don't know where the bugs were coming from the couch or elsewhere, but we ended up sitting on the wooden stools. Once we left, we were fine. We left a day early because it was not enjoyable. It needs a thorough cleaning and new couch that actually works. Maybe the owner should stay in there for a few days and see what we're talking about.

The cabin has a picturesque view. It’s well kept and clean. My little dog loved the fenced in yard. This was an excellent choice for us.
