You absolutely cannot beat the location of Matt’s house. Super easy to walk to the beach or along the harbor. Plus the house is cozy and met all our needs. Wonderful stay!

Our family of five, including three kids aged 7 to 12, absolutely loved the apartment. Its prime location, just steps away from the beach and the Marina park playground, was perfect for us. The apartment itself is spacious and well-equipped with small appliances, making it feel like home. We especially enjoyed spending time on the large balcony, taking in the beautiful view. Communication with the owner was excellent—he was very kind and provided thorough details about what to expect on our arrival day, along with clear instructions for our stay.

Great place, great communication, would absolutely stay here again. Excellent location, and nice to have a garage that fit our large SUV. The apartment is dated, but very clean, roomy and exactly what we were looking for. Thanks Matt!

We love this beach house! Even though we have out grown it, my wife and I still come and stay just the two of us. It our home away from home. Matt is awesome he is on top of all of our wants and needs. We have been coming here for 10 years. And are looking forward to many more!

Matt was very nice and always available to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were having a good time. We never took our car out of the garage. Everything is within walking distance and we had the time of our lives. The bed was so comfortable and we enjoyed Matt's family home very much. Very Clean and we Loved looking at the Marina in the mornings and evenings. The beach is literally 50 steps away. Beautiful property and would definitely stay there again in the future.

Charming place to stay! Everything is within walking distance or a trolley runs too. We saw dolphins and found sand dollar shells. The beach is very close. Wonderful experience!

This place did not disappoint! Matt is an attentive and detail oriented host. The apartment was absolutely wonderful. We will be back. Matt made some great recommendations for our vacation at Newport. We stayed for five nights with three of our children for our 24th anniversary. The location was awesome. Close to everything. Just steps to the beach. We loved our stay, and the communication with the host couldn’t be beat. Everything you need is there. It was so nice to have a garage parking spot. We loved that part. It’s great to be able to have space for your vehicle and beach toys. The hide a beds were awesome and comfortable, our kids had no complaints. It was fun to sit out on the deck, and enjoy a drink at night. We also enjoyed a lot of takeout out there. Perfect location!! You won’t be disappointed. Thanks for everything, Matt.

This is our 2nd year staying at Matt's place and we have already picked our week for next year. Matt is an EXCELLENT host and we had everything we needed for a nice, relaxing trip. It's so nice to be able to park the car and never have to take it out of the garage; we walk everywhere we need to go. We plan to keep coming back every year!

My boyfriend and I were here for my birthday trip. There was plenty of food options for all three meals. everything we wanted/needed was all walking distance.
The beach was absolutely gorgeous, very family friendly wasn’t super busy, and the water was very refreshing. No issues whatsoever. Matt’s home was equipped with everything we needed as well, very comfortable and felt like a home.

This is our second time back in Newport, staying at this location. It is so nice to be close to the beach. We were able to save money by cooking our meals at the house. The house is perfect. Matt is the best to work with. He is friendly and prompt. This place offers my family memories and traditions. For the price and location, this is your place.

The moment you walk into this apartment you'll start your time off relaxation. The view of the boats entering the marina in the evening is soothing, and the sound of the waves on the sand in the morning is invigorating. This apartment is also well suited for family get-togethers. And last but not least, the host is friendly and communicates well.

Truly a comfortable home away from home. We stayed here for the second time and loved it both times. It is convenient to the beach, very clean, well stocked with everything one could need and Matt, the owner, is nice and great in communicating. Overall, a great experience and five stars!

We absolutely love this place! The location is fantastic. A short walk to the Newport Pier and an even shorter walk to the beach. The trolley that runs on the weekends stops just across the street and takes you right to Balboa for free! This property is close enough to all the action but just far enough away to still be a quite and peaceful place to relax. We also love the extra large patio looking out at the harbor. It was a great place to drink coffee in the morning and have a glass of wine at the end of the day. This was our second year staying at this property and we will definitely be back again next year.

It was perfect for what we needed. Close to my family and other destinations we had planned. It was very peaceful, clean and cozy with everything you would need. The beach was just at the end of the block just a few steps as was said and it was beautiful. Everything you could need was within walking distance. It was a great place to forget everything and just enjoy. The host kept in touch and responded quickly. We enjoyed every moment. Thank you to the host for sharing his lovely vacation apartment.

Excellent Beach Vacation
What a great place to stay! My family enjoyed a fun 4-day trip to Newport Beach. This location is so convenient and easy to walk to the beach and both the Balboa pier and Newport pier. There are so many cute shops and restaurants nearby, we never really needed to drive anywhere. Everything was exactly as described in the apartment. It was clean and comfortable. Matt does an excellent job of making you feel at home. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Newport Beach
We stayed at Matt’s place for 10 days and we enjoyed it very much. The property had everything we needed and we had full comfort. Matt was very helpful and did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The location is really excellent, right near the beach and close to many little shops and bars. Newport Beach is beautiful.

My time at Balboa Peninsula
This house was amazing! Check in was extremely easy. The location was absolutely perfect for the price. The view you get from the balcony is beautiful. What I loved was that you could hear the ocean waves from the bedroom window. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back! Thank you Matt for making my trip so much more fun!
