Amazing house. We have stayed all over Vail and this house has had the best location of all of them we’ve had. Very close to everything and high in the mountain with amazing sweeping views surrounded by aspen trees. Couldn’t really ask for better. Well equipped kitchen, two gas fireplaces and all the amenities you will need. The heated garage is a great addition. They even had some sleds to play with on the side of the hill and the communication with the owner was perfect. No complaints!

The house was both beautiful and comfortable. Not only is the location extremely convenient, but the home offers many amenities that are sure to keep its residents entertained. Everything was in great condition and clean, and the owners were kind, responsible, quick to answer, and always willing to lend a hand. Thanks for a great experience!

We had three families with our adult children, 11 of us in total for the week. The home was beautiful and the layout provided each family with their own area. The owner was so kind and always available to make recommendations and ensure we had everything we needed! We all enjoyed the location, incredible views, hot tub/sauna, and truly appreciated the boot warmers! We had a private chef (Red Maple Catering)come to the house to cook New Year's dinner and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed! The heated driveway was an awesome feature and our kids still talk about the beer tap in library! This truly felt like a home away from home. We all have fond memories of this vacation. We had a wonderful time at Highlands Meadows while visiting during the Vail Shootout. Home is gorgeous, well appointed kitchen, spacious lower level for the children to hangout, while the adults enjoyed the large outdoor deck, hot tub and living room. Clean and beautifully furnished, clearly the owners take very good care of their property. They have a large garage to store bikes. It was a short drive into town. Property manager was attentive to our needs. Will definitely come back!!

The Bacon's home is a perfect place to stay for a vacation in Vail! It is a beautifully decorated and the owners have thought out every need. And the view! Our group loved sitting on the porch, for morning coffee or happy hour, just soaking it in. I would recommend this home to anyone! Absolutely wonderful!

This is such a spacious & well-laid out home. We stayed here with our family + 2 other families. The beds were so comfy and clean and there is space for everyone - and we all had so much fun playing games in the huge living room and enjoying the mountain views from the hot tub. This home is so well-stocked and we did not have to search for anything. The basement den & playroom was perfect for all the kids too! When we were ready to ski our boots were toasty on the warmers as well as our gloves. There are places for all our gear and it was a quick drive down the mountain to the Vail parking garage. We loved staying here and the owners clearly love their home and were so willing to make our stay fantastic! Thank you!!

Most homes boast the number of rooms we need but when we get there, the rooms really don't sleep the number they claim to. This house is appointed perfectly and not only has the sleeping space for a large crowd but also the lounging and personal space so everybody doesn't feel cramped. And it's literally a 5 minute drive to the main lots of Vail. Additionally, this house has everything you could possibly need and more with a "pay it forward" attitude. So, the kitchen is well stocked and there may even be some cold brews in the fridge for you to enjoy with a sign saying "pay it forward" for the next guests to enjoy. The home also has a sauna and hot tub which are prime for after the slopes recovery. Sounds crazy but we cooked 10 meals in a row at "home" for our very large family. We just didn't want to leave and it was way too comfortable to stay. Also, Heather and David (the owners) gave us all of the top tips and special treatment to the area. Heather set us up with a personal shopper so the house was fully stocked upon arrival. She also gave us referrals on a special catered in home dinner with Rocky Mountain Raclette and Helmut Fricker for entertainment (unforgetable). When the snow built up outside of the sauna, David was there the very next day with crews getting the sauna up and running and left us very delicious and generous gifts while there (we thought we'd just be told, too bad, it's snowing like most people would respond and maybe next time the sauna will work but NO David said it's too much of a treat to not have it working and skipped his own ski day to clear the snow)....and he even turned on and unloaded the dishwasher while there (we were skiing and came home to a perfectly running sauna, a nice bottle of wine, the dishwasher unloaded and 5 pounds of the most awesome bacon we've ever had....no joke). This home is beautiful, sleeps a ton of people comfortably, and has everything and much more. We will absolutely rent again from David and Heather. Work hard, play hard, ski hard and remember...Heather's in charge (lol).

Our stay at this home was wonderful. The home is absolutely beautiful with everything we needed to enjoy our families stay over Christmas break. The kitchen is well stocked to cook for a group, and the hot tub is a great way to end a day of snowmobiling or skiing. The view is spectacular, and the home was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The reading room is a great way to start the morning with a cup of coffee and a book! The home is up the mountain and not far from the village.

The pictures do this place justice; up on the mountain overlooking 70, and the surrounding mountains! Easy to get around and back on the highway(close to grocery store, food, beers, gas), but secluded and away from the hustle and bustle of the village etc. The amenities of the hot tub and the sauna were amazing bonus’s to have on top of all the spacious room (what with two living rooms and 5 or so bedrooms). Beds are all very comfortable. I would recommend staying here to anyone with a large group or family! Only possible complaint could be that this IS a duplex, with neighbors on the backside. I hadn’t seen this advertised anywhere in pictures or reading, but the neighbors are friendly and keep to themselves. Overall, this palace is a 5 Star for sure, and if you’re even contemplating it, you’d be a fool not to stay here!! Incredible vacation spot in West Vail with some great, attentive hosts!

Loved staying at this house in Vail!! Beautiful property, awesome amenities and spacious enough for 7 people. This house is perfectly situated to everything from the grocery store, golf resorts, rafting, horseback riding, EPIC, Amphitheater, Vail Village and Glenwood Caverns. The house is perfectly equipped with things for the entire group to include the sound system, hot tub, sauna, games for kids and the hammock on the back deck. The bed and pillows were so comfortable that we didn’t want to get up. Kitchen is stocked with the basic things you’ll need for your stay while the bathrooms had body wash, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Definitely recommend staying at this house - we’ll be back!

Excellent location, furnishings, and supplies made this a wonderful, relaxing stay with beautiful Vail Valley views. We didn't use the hot tub or sauna since it was summer but imagine they (plus 12+ beds) would make this a great ski base camp. It offered plenty of both family together and privacy space, including proximity to many great activities.

The Bacon home is a beautiful home. Every detail is considered for a guest. As you arrive there isn’t much you need to bring or purchase. It’s a comfortable home with all the comforts from your own home . Open and bright living and dining area. All bedrooms and closets are spacious. Lots of sitting area for meals and nice open kitchen. Mud room is the best no shoes rules in the house is great. Having a garage to park your car is a plus. Hot tub and sauna were well used after a long day of skiing. This West Vail Tudor is the perfect mountain house for larger groups especially with kids! The home is gorgeous on the inside with amazing views! We loved how spacious and comfortable each room was in the house. It has everything that you could ever want for the perfect mountain vacation. The beds were extremely comfortable. Thanks so much to our wonderful hostess, Heather. She was always available to answer questions and had great recommendations.

We rent very often and this home was a very, very pleasant experience. It was very conveniently located, close to Lionshead, with good access to many other destinations. It has an extremely scenic view, and is built to host families wanting to spend time together. Cozy TV areas and fun dining areas made the trip a lot of fun. The hot tub and sauna and even a kegerator were also very nice features. The owners were AWESOME and communicated very, very well. Never underestimate the importance of this! Stuff goes wrong at homes, we never had any issues, but if we had i know these owners would have been on the case immediately! That goes a long way in your confidence when renting. In short, we gave it 5 stars because it deserved it!

What a wonderful home, tucked right in to the side of the beautiful Vail mountains. We came up with friends for a weekend away from the city and were pleased with the amenities - the great room with the fireplace alone makes this property top notch. There are ample beds and bedrooms (the downstairs king bed was so comfortable, I never wanted to leave), a kitchen worthy of cooking something fancy, as well as full cable (and Netflix!). As an added bonus, there was an awesome hiking trail just steps away from the driveway. We were there before the snow, but I can imagine it's snowshoe'able as well. It's a quick drive to the mountain and in to town, and moments away from grocery stores and restaurants. If you're looking for the ultimate mountain escape, this is your place!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights for our honeymoon in September and it could not have been more amazing! Heather was so communicative and helpful and made sure we had a great time. The house is incredible. Between the views from the deck to the interior decorations, the layout of the house and the well-equipped kitchen to how clean and organized the house was, we had everything we could have ever needed. We would highly recommend staying here and cannot wait to come back in the winter for some skiing!

We stayed in this West Vail for 3 nights at the beginning of August with 2 families. From our first correspondence with the owner, Heather, to the checkout everything was very smooth and exceeded our expectations. The location is great and the deck with private hot tub was so peaceful in the summer with amazing views to the North. The Great Room is immaculate and very cozy. There was plenty of room and every bedroom/bathroom was spacious and well designed and furnished. The master bedroom/bathroom was beautifully renovated and the AC throughout the house is key in the summer as most do not have AC. Everything was well organized with a welcome book, check in/check out instructions, a home I pad that operates the sonos system and access to the internet, things to do in town, places to eat, etc..I would rent again in a heartbeat!!! Highly Highly recommend!

Spacious home to accommodate family attending a Vail Wedding. Kitchen well equipped for our group of 10. Loved the house music system through the home I-Pad while bridesmaids were getting ready day of the wedding. The master bedroom was great for the bride to get ready and "reveal" the dress to her dad, bridesmaids and family. The 3 lower level bedrooms each have a full bath. We did experience WiFi issues (losing connection) with 4 different laptops. Heather was very responsive to assist in logging on. One of the deck doors could not be locked. I informed Heather that we were ok with it during our stay. She was going to address it when we left. The neighborhood is quiet and sits way up above the Donovan Pavilion where we gathered for the wedding reception. I highly recommend the Vail Wedding deck for a stunning ceremony site. Our wedding guests took hikes, went fly fishing, white water rafting and families enjoyed the adventure park at the top of Lionshead Gondola. Wonderful summer vacation spot.

Invited the kids and grand kids, party of 10, for 10 days in Vail. The house had space for everybody with room to spare. The upstairs master suite was amazing. It even had A/C which is rare for the area. The property is part of a duplex, but once inside, you would not know it. If I return to the area with the same group, I will check this place first.
