This is my second stay in this unique two bedroom home that is perfectly located so that once I arrive my car never moves again. Perfect spot to walk to restaurants or down to the park to watch the sunset or continue on the 804.The views from the front room and deck are amazing. The couch in the front room perfectly placed so that when reading, knitting, etc..one only needs to look up and out to see the river and ocean. The small kitchen reminds me of my childhood, no frills but everything I need. Plus the right size coffee mugs. This house is well maintained and cared for. I look forward to a third visit.

This place was so cute and very close to anything you might want to walk to. Loved the view and comfy couch too! The kitchen is pretty dated but we found everything we needed. It was really hard to find at night as no light was on and you can only see the address with the light so I suggest trying to check in before it gets dark

Thr location and view were great-- We were able to walk to the 894 trail and all the local amenities, so just left our vehicle in the driveway the whole time.

Spent Christmas weekend at this quaint cottage. Great location with good walkability to grocery, restaurants, and bakery. Would stay here again!

Was a great view of the ocean and a good location to be able to walk to town. The bedroom carpets need steam cleaning. The light was dim in the living room even with using the extra lamps, we struggled to see puzzle pieces. If you have a vehicle please know that we had a small pickup & I could only fit it in the tiny parking spot after dropping the passenger off in the street first then squishing to one side so that I could barely get out after parking. I don't think a full size PU would fit & there's no other parking. Has a nice deck out front.

because the fewer people know about this gem, the more availability for me! This is hands down my favorite house on the coast for a romantic getaway with my husband. This was our 4th or 5th trip to Ocean Bay and we can't wait to come back. The view is spectacular and the house cozy and comfy with everything we need.

We made a trip to Yachats to watch the eclipse. Unfortunately the Oregon weather didn’t cooperate; however, all was not lost. Our stay here was very relaxing and a great getaway. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Plus it was walking distance to everything in town.

The view was incredible. Just a short walk to restaurants and stores. The 804 trail is right outside the door. People were so friendly. Perfect place for a peaceful quiet vacation.

While being quite dated (as openly admitted in the listing), this property is comfortable and provides everything one needs. The great ocean/river mouth view supplies ever-changing views of wildlife and the magnificence of the ocean.

This little house was just as advertised and was nice for our group of three. The views over the ocean and the river are awesome and there is convenient access to the beach, tide pools, and walking paths as well as all the little shops and restaurants in Yachats (all within a couple of blocks).
There was some problem with the Wi-Fi and Cable but the property manager was super helpful and very responsive in getting it fixed.
The deck looks new and would have been a great place to sit out (if it hadn't been for all the hail storms we had!)
Overall a great little cottage-- we'll be returning soon!

AMAZING view. Enjoyed watching seals and eagles from the deck. The only negative is the closeness of the nieghbors and there dogs.

We took turns laying in the long seat by the window, watching the river and waves of the bay. Kitchen had all the tools we needed, but there are several great restaurants in the area too.

Our visit was during a winter storm and this house was great for storm watching. There was a lot going on in the river channel- waves, floating logs, seagulls, and a bald eagle. This cozy home was perfect for the 2 of us and kept us snug and safe.

We enjoyed our stay at this property with a good ocean view. My wife enjoyed watching some playful harbor seals when the water was up in the estuary. The only minor downside was that the neighbor’s front decks on each side are very close to the front deck of the property. We prefer more privacy and quiet—which was not possible with such close proximity. But all in all, it is a great place to stay.

This place is literally everything I hoped it would be. An unbeatable view, super easy access to the water / rocks / beach. Very comfy couch and bed (though I was glad I brought my own pillow). Kitchen suitable for small meals. Walkable to everything you need in Yachats. I hope to come back and bring my family next time!

Cozy cottage on a gorgeous beach
Everything you need and plenty of charm in a little two bedroom beach cottage. Kitchen a bit small but functional. Lovely views from the comfy living room and dining room. A spacious deck that overlooks the beach. Really comfortable beds and pillows.

The only thing that could have made our stay more enjoyable would have been the weather, but we did have one sunny day before the rain hit. The only reason for the 4 star overall rating was the annoying ants in the kitchen counter area. There was a bottle of Terro in the kitchen so the ants must be a bit of a problem.
