This was our 11th stay in 21 years. We always go to this condo complex. This was the first time staying in the ground floor unit, very convenient. Not the greatest ocean views, but we just sat out on the grounds more often. We love being in the Maalaea area, very close to everything.

This was a perfect place for our week of adventures in Maui. Central location, easy parking, quiet and secure. Ground floor is super convenient and felt private and safe. Owner was very helpful with our questions and it made for a great vacation. Would do this again for sure!

We had an incredible stay at this Ma’alaea condo! The breathtaking ocean views were the highlight of our trip – waking up to the sound of waves and enjoying stunning sunsets from the balcony made our vacation truly memorable. The pool was pristine, offering a refreshing retreat on sunny days. The cleanliness of the condo exceeded our expectations; it was impeccably maintained, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail truly stood out. From the well-equipped kitchen to the cozy bedrooms, everything was thoughtfully arranged. Our overall experience was awesome, thanks to the seamless communication with the owner and the convenient location. We highly recommend this condo for anyone looking for a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Can’t wait to return to this little piece of paradise!

Great location in the center of the island with local beach access. The pool is large and perfect for when it gets to windy.

The complex seemed very well taken care of. Lots of morning attention by staff. The unit seemed to have everything we needed.

This is a nice condo but it could use a deep cleaning especially on the floors.

Condo was beautiful and we had just a short walk to a beach that went all the way to Kihei!! Surfers out every day. Pool was just steps away. Grounds crew worked every day to keep the pool and grounds impeccable. Fresh flowers were a nice touch when we arrived. The condo was equipped with everything we could ever need to make our trip perfect. Be sure to ask the grounds crew if you need boogie boards or surf boards to borrow.

The apartment, in particular the kitchen was very well equipped. Breakfast on the Lanai was a wonderful morning ritual. Mahalo.

Overall, great. One Problem: 1. Both doors would not lock properly so we had to spend all day inside on our first day waiting for maintenance, however he did fix it by the evening and there were no more issues with the locks Suggestions: 1. Please purchase new pots and pans and throw away those that are there, EVERYTHING sticks to them 2. Bring in paper supplies each week, so when people like us rent 2 weeks back to back we don't have to purchase what would have been given to new tenants after a week 3. Get two spatulas to mix with 4. Place a sweep under the front door so that leaves and insects do not come in when the doors are open for the breeze to come in Compliment: Your housekeeper was awesome trying to locate a lost hard drive from my computer. She went out of her way to search. She didn't find it, but tried and kept in contact with me the whole time.

The location of the condo was perfect. The pool, grounds, and view were beautiful. The unit itself was a bit dirty upon arrival. We had to sweep and wash bedding prior to use. Several lights were out that we replaced. The couch could use a deep clean. The back door sticks and was very difficult to open and close. It was convenient that it was well stocked with cleaning supplies though.

The location of the condo was pretty centrally located with easy and relatively quick access to all areas of the island. The location was also quiet. The areas where more of the resorts are were very busy. It was great to be able to drive to those places to eat, go to the beach, etc. but then come back to our own quieter location. The condo was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning is not central air, it is a wall unit in the living room. It kept the main area cool but not the bedrooms. There were fans in the bedrooms that did help some. We literally could watch whales while sitting outside and drinking coffee in the morning. The Maalaea General Store was a great little place for breakfast and it was within walking distance. The beach directly in front of the condo is eroded. You need to walk down the street to get to the beach, although it’s a very short distance. I wholeheartedly agree with some other reviews that the condo is in need of maintenance, updating and a deep cleaning. I admit I have very high cleaning standards but I believe pretty much anyone would agree the condo needs a deep clean, regardless of their cleaning standards. Our communication with the owners prior to our stay was great and they were very responsive. If you are looking for a reasonably priced condo that is oceanfront this would be a great option.

It is a great location near the harbother. Residents at the condos are very easy to get along. We had a great time at the pool and watching the turtles out in front. I like the condo so much. I booked it for a month next year.

Fantastic location on the island and we were able to view whales from the property! Overall we felt safe here and the condo is clearly a home as it is stocked like one. It made for a very easy stay. The kitchen is appointed with everything you need for cooking. The beds were fine but the pillows were too firm for some in our party. Not a deal breaker. Everything you need for the beach is available. Showers had good water pressure and the bathrooms were clean. We would stay here again. Some things for others to consider: it’s not ideal for small children. There are pieces of pottery, flower displays and figurines throughout the condo. I was very afraid our infant would pull down the display shelves and get hurt/break things. The pack n play was broken but there is a listing for a local rental place right in the kitchen and it was a great value and service. I concur with other reviews that a deep cleaning is necessary. The floors, carpets and furniture upholstery need a serious steam cleaning. Check in was easy and clear instructions given. Wifi worked well. Parking was never a challenge and the grounds were maintained well. Communication with the owner was prompt and she was kind to us via the app.

Property was very well stocked! Location was great and we would book this unit again! The grounds are beautiful, and the pool was great! Overall, we had a great stay!

Only downside cleanliness and cushions on all indoor furniture needs replacing. We loved our beach walks/swims at this location. Nice pool/ BBQ we used daily. Grounds are pretty and well maintained.

We love staying at Kana'i A Nalu! This was our second time staying at a condo in this complex. It's a great central location for easy access to all points on Maui. We love having the pool in the central courtyard, a great beach for boogie boarding & snorkelling just down the street, and quiet at night except for the sounds of the ocean waves crashing on the beach. This condo was cozy, well supplied, & comfortable. It is a bit outdated and in need of a bit of maintenance here & there but would definitely stay there again! Thanks for the great trip!

Main floor condo is steps away from pool and beach. We are a family of four and there was plenty of room for all of us.

This was the second time I stayed here, last time in 2019. My mom loves the quiet peaceful area with the trade winds. We love your place, & enjoyed our stay. Love that you are centrally located going to Kahului or to Kaanapali is really great! Thank you!!

I had a good visit in Maui but I wasn’t exactly happy with the condo. Pretty old and dinghy, the beech chairs need to be replaced. The master bath mirror was falling off of the wall, we took showers in the dark because the lights didn’t work very well. The bath tub was dirty as well as the jets. Couldn’t take a bath at all. I sent an email to the owner regarding all of the above and have yet to get a reply. Not worth almost 2k. Won’t be back there. Won’t recommend.

the location of the property was great, pool was great, bbq area was great. The condo itself, not so great. The bedding was clean and fresh but the rest of the condo was not cleaned when we arrived. Floors were dirty, dirty dishes in the cupboard (lipstick marks on drinking glasses), hair all over bathroom floor, hair on bathroom counter tops, and sand all over floor of shower. The condo needs a really good cleaning. The cockroaches that were hanging out in the kitchen and dining area were not welcome as our guests. The dryer vent needs to be cleaned as the lint catch screen does not even sit in the slot properly. All of these issues were sent to the property owner while we were there. Since property owner relies on a cleaning service, they may/or may not have been aware previously that cleaning seems to be an issue. we would stay in the same area again, even same complex but not in this unit.

Wonderful place to stay! The property was perfectly located to have wonderful views and easy ocean/pool/garden access. It had everything we needed which was extremely helpful, and the community in the complex was wonderful as well. It was absolutely the perfect place for our special family trip together!

Well located, very cute condo. A little tight for a family of 5 with 3 teenagers, but still a great place!

This is a good property as far as location and size. The kitchen and flooring throughout is pretty updated vs other condos there. Great amenities provided. Tons of cookware and beach supplies. Beach supplies include chairs,body boards, and sand castle play equipment. They have a ton of towel sets as well. And while I appreciate that I'd like to see at least the bedding be white sheets in order to bleach between customers. Some cons would be that the washer has a mildew smell and there's black spots on the rubber lining of the front load washer. We tried cleaning and scrubbing it but it needs more than what is available at the condo. The second room is also too far from the ac source and is too warm at night. Those guests wound up pulling out the couch bed to sleep near the ac. The unit was not properly cleaned and I was a bit disappointed to find old food on some cookware in the oven, a mildewed washer and a dirty feminine product on the floor behind the trash can in the master bathroom. The guest bath also doesn't have a fitting stopper so while its a jet tub, there's no way to really use it. The second room also smelled after guests did not use it and we had shut the door to that room. Really needs another ac source. The kitchen stove top is also cracked, and while it still works you should be cautious when using it. Under the beds are extremely dusty as well. I just think the cleaning could be better! Theres all the dishware you would need but its really too much! There's no cabinet space for any food you may buy on this trip because there's an overflow of dishware😅 Overall: this is a good spot for the price point if you'd like to just be at the pool and ocean all day which was exactly my goal. Lahaina where activities and touristy stuff is located, is a 30 min ride to the east side of the island. Approx 30-50 by lyft or $2/ride for a city bus ride. We did both and the bus ride is not bad.

This is a very nice 1st floor unit with a beautiful view. It is very well equipped with everything you need for your vacation stay. It is kid friendly with water and sand toys and a pack and play crib. We enjoyed our stay there for 12 days.

We really liked the location of this property. It was a nice quiet area. The beach by the property, although kinda washed away, was so nice to relax on. This unit is in dire need of a deep cleaning! There were layers of dust on the walls and lampshades. The showers really needs better cleaning. The kitchen just needs an overall thorough wipe down inside and outside of the cabinets. I would definitely stay here again if it was cleaned really well. The two umbrellas that were available for use were both broken-huge bummer! Loved all of the towels available for use and the two good chairs to take to the beach. The other two were kind of meh. Being on the ground level was SO nice! We did encounter several cockroaches while there-ugh! I know they are common in the climate, but still.
