This would rate as one of our best family vacations, lots for all to do within biking or walking distance. The home was very clean, spacious for our large family, great for just hanging out when not at the beach, pool, or riding bikes. The pool and courtyard were perfect for family time, the kids love the pool, perfect break from the beach. Got to grill out one afternoon while all enjoying the pool “chillaxing”. Would have loved to do more of this but too many good restaurants nearby. We carried our Townie’s “bikes” and the area was perfect for family bike rides with the 5 bikes provided, great for getting ice cream and eats at nearby Seaside. The beach access was just across the street from the pool, perfect! The beach time was great, made it every day and the beach gear was a plus. We had the best aqua colored water we ever had in Florida, can’t describe, wish could attach picture “beautiful”. With the fun had to be rest and the 5 king beds were great. For an old man with some old football knees the stairs were a workout, with the stairs and the bikes I got to eat extra ice cream which was a plus (LOL). I normally get lots of feedback regarding our vacations from my better half and kids, normally just the dislikes, but will say all very pleased with the home and location, nothing but good things this year except “Dad, this vacation went by faster than any, can we stay another week”. Time flies when you’re having fun, don’t let the family times slip away. Great stay

We loved the location! Short walk to the square and even shorter walk to the beach. Plenty of space for everyone. We loved having the two living rooms and two kitchens. Our kids enjoyed the heated pool. Also, the views from all three balconies were amazing!

This was our first stay at Avalon in Seaside, FL but it most certainly will not be our last!!! Our stay was everything we could have dreamed of and more. It was my entire family; grandparents, siblings and their spouses and all 6 grand babies! The property is absolutely stunning; two kitchens was just what we needed, ocean views for the best sunrises/sunsets, outdoor pool which we could request to be heated, literally seconds from the beach, walking distance to the courtyard and shops- the list goes on!! Steve and Sonia Bruno handle their guests with love and care, they are truly the best hosts we’ve ever had! Not to mention their management company, Stay 30A with Julia, she was incredible as well! Steve, Sonia, and Julia were quick to respond every time, and would even reach out on their own just to check in prior to, during, and after our stay. Steve and Sonia even sent the most wonderful recommendation email on the area of Seaside which was so helpful and exciting!! Book your vacation here, you won’t regret it. We can’t wait to come back!!

Great large family house for vacation

This property is incredibly close to the beach, and it feels like we are staying on the beach. The third and fourth floors have great views of the ocean. And the house is walking distance to the shops and dinning at Seaside. We had 3 families stay in the house for a combined total of 18 people. Each family had their own floor, and all with complete privacy. The house layout was perfect for the three families. The property came with pool/beach toys for the kids and beach chairs and umbrellas. This is our third vacation at Seaside, and seaside is by far our favorite family vacation spot in the world (we have been to many beaches such as: Aruba, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Trinidad & Tobago, California, south Florida, Cancun, Puerto Vallarta) - and seaside, FL is our favorite - hands down.

House was great for a large family of 16. We had 9 adults, 7 children. Lots of space for outside and inside dining and hang-out space. Kitchen was very nice and each family was able to have their own bedrooms.

Immaculate house that easily held our 13 member family. We loved having our own pool; beach access across the street; a five minute walk to Seaside; beach chairs and umbrellas; and bicycles. It was fabulous!

This house is absolutely amazing. It was spotless and very well stocked. The location to the beach is perfect and the bikes, beach chairs and umbrellas were so appreciated. This property is just what our large family of 11 adults and 5 children needed. The close proximity to the beach and to Seaside made it so easy for us to walk or bike to everything we wanted to do. Publix is just a short car ride away as well. We are ready to book this one again!

We were looking for a house that could accommodate up to 20 people for a family wedding taking place at Rosemary Beach. This house was the perfect choice. Plenty of beds and room, and a separate kitchen on both the 2nd and 3rd floors. Great view of the Gulf, and a heated pool and fireplace outside. It is about 1/4 mile east of Seaside Village, which made it extra convenient for us. We highly recommend this home for a group of between 12-18!

This property is an AMAZING location right across from the beach walkover and steps from seaside. It has all of the amenities you can imagine and is EXTREMELY family friendly. We have a toddler and it was a perfect set up. They even have a crib and a high chair. Thanks again, hopefully we’ll be back soon!

Steve and Sonia are wonderful hosts! Their house, The Avalon, is gorgeous, spacious, and perfectly located in Seaside! You are directly across the street from the beach access, it’s basically like being on the beach! Then you are just a 5-7 minute walk from all the well known Seaside restaurants, like Bud and Ally’s, Great Southern and all the food trucks and shops. It was absolutely perfect for our group with 5 couples and 3 singles. We all had our own space, and the main gathering areas are huge and accommodating for large parties. The balconies are also huge and perfect for morning coffee and beach views! I could go on and on about our stay at the Avalon. I would 100% stay here again and recommend to anyone looking to have the perfect vacation in Seaside!

Traveled from Ohio to Seaside for my nieces wedding with 17 family members. The house completely accommodated our large family's needs during the trip and weather was outstanding for 7 straight days. The 3rd floor balcony had amazing views during the day and evening and ended up being our place to congregate to play games into the wee hours. The house is well stocked if not over the top stocked with everything you would need for a vacation. We placed an order on Instacart with the local Publix and they delivered food and drinks shortly after our arrival which was wonderful after a long day of air travel. Rented golf carts which were delivered prior to our arrival also which was a bonus too. The communication between the rental company and myself was exceptional and they were able to get us into the house earlier than check-in which allowed for us to settle in a bit before the family wedding. The proximity to the beach is amazing and we all giggled that we had it so easy as compared to many in the area. The property is well stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, floatation devices, beach toys, etc. We all just grabbed an armload each day and headed across the street to the beautiful beach for a full day of fun each and every day. Upon return back to the Avalon we would congregate in the pool area which was slightly shaded and a welcome relief from a full day of sun at the beach. The children and adult men all had a great time playing in the pool, as the water was a cool and refreshing way to finish out the day before showers and dinner and games. The homeowners were so attentive and sent us several packages of additional games and cards to enjoy while staying at the Avalon. I don't think I watched 1 minute of TV with the exception of the OSU Buckeyes game the entire week. GO BUCKS!!! There is some construction going on all around the vicinity, but that goes with a booming town, so you just go with the flow. Fortunately we were at the beach most of the time and by time we arrived back at the house they were wrapping up for the day. An exceptional home to rent for a large family without a doubt. There are lots of stairs, but we all got a great workout and most didn't gain a pound after a week of eating and drinking !!! With that being said, the stairs both inside and out are wide and deep with handrails which made them quite safe. We just placed our folks in the house according to their abilities to go up and down the stairs.

The small issues/requests we had were responded to very quickly. Fair warning, you'll get your exercise going up and down stairs. The house allows groups to easily spread out for different activities or to spend time together. Overall a great house for a large family! Highly recommended!

Great place for our families summer vacation. Everyone enjoyed it so much. All wanting to return next summer. 14 of us had plenty of space. The owner kept in touch and gave us great advice about house and the area. Thank you Steve for everything.
