Perfect location at our favorite place. Just make sure your car mirrors are folded in or else they could get smashed!

This house was perfect for our family of 13.House was very spacious and clean.We enjoyed our afternoon short walk to the beach,and enjoyed the beautiful sunset and views.We enjoyed the parks and the zoo near by as well.The deck was nice too and loved seeing the wild tukeys in the morning near the hill behind the house.Overall this house was perfect and relaxing for our weekend getaway!Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.We will definitely be back!

Our families second visit to the area and we brought friends along with us this time! Perfect location for us- short trip to the amazing zoo, walked on the pier and the kids loved the beach (even though it was kinda cold& windy), and had an amazing lunch at Dunebillies. The back deck was great and we saw deer on the hill behind us every morning and evening.

Roomy, comfortable, easy walk to beach

The property was easy to find. It was in close proximity to the beach, the zoo, a large park, and other places of interests. We had a good size group and there was ample space for everyone. Parking was limited but the neighborhood was quiet, and the people around the area were very accommodating it solved our parking issue. Todd was really quick to respond to our inquiries and request.

This was a wonderful family vacation place. My daughter and her husband, my son and his wife, myself (grandma) and my 10 grandchildren had a great time, with plenty of room to sleep. Some of the beds weren’t the best. The queen bed in the loft was like sleeping on the floor according to the couple that slept on it. We took the foam topper off a bed in the basement and put it on the bed in the loft, which helped. The 2 metal bunk beds squeaked so the mattresses were put on the floor. The dryer squealed loudly, so we just made sure to run it only during the day and kept the door shut. The tub and shower in the loft area had some mold on the caulking around the tub and on the shower curtain, which was torn. We loved sitting on the deck, especially in the evening. The house next door had occupants on a couple of the days that we were there, which was no problem until they started smoking marijuana, which drove us indoors. In spite of these things, which I am positive that they will fix now that know about them, our stay was great and we would return.

Lovely home. Lots of amenities. We thought we were going to be closer to the beach. The 3 of us thought the cleaning fee was excessive.

Wonderful time had by all. We spent many hours at the beach which took just minutes to walk to, and the Washington Park Zoo was just delightful.

The house worked perfectly for our 4 families. The kitchen was exceedingly well supplied. The proximity to the beach was great. We loved the deck and backyard especially the treehouse! The yard could use a little work there is a large limb hanging from a tree that should come down and the deck flowers and beach chairs had been neglected but we cleaned it up and enjoyed all of it. We’ve been staying in the area for 3 years now and we all felt this house served us the best. Thank you Todd!!

Alegria is well maintained and furnished. We enjoyed the close walk to the beach, which is huge and fun!! The private back yard is great for early morning coffee and evening dinner and relaxation. So enjoyable!

Very nice and very roomy. Loved the long table and multiple seating areas! Most of the beds were comfortable. Beach was a pretty short walk. We enjoyed it.

Everything was great! We were in a great location for everything we wanted to check out in the area, although we were quite disappointed that the splash pad at the park seems to be shut down, and that was one of the area amenities listed that helped to make our decision. Maybe update the site? Other than that, everyone found something to enjoy! Thanks for having us!

I want to thank Todd and Joy for opening their home to us! It was a perfect location for an out of town wedding spot for our family and friends. The layout was perfect for different people coming and going throughout the week. We even hosted a rehearsal dinner there that was perfect with the outside deck and the kitchen setup. The three levels was great we never felt crowded or even had trouble with everyone getting ready the morning of the wedding. The short walk to the beach was perfect - many trips to the beach for walks without having people in our backyard. Would definitely stay there again and suggest to any family and friends as the perfect place - always felt safe even at night when walking.

Spacious, quiet setting, close to beach, plenty of things to do both in and outside of property. Cabinets fully stocked with dishes and utensils. Temperature cool throughout the house. Cleanliness was a 3 out of 5. Hair left in shower and bathroom floors. Upstairs pull out bed linens had not been changed both hair and dirt present. Wife was not happy with that at all.

Two best friends (9 & 10) and their moms stayed for a quick getaway during spring break. We had the best time. Lots of room for the adults to get work done, chat, and read while the kids played. Short walk to the beach and fun sights to see. The house was lovely and had everything we needed. Host was easy to communicate with and check-in and out were a breeze. The host was also accommodating to a special request, which made our trip even better. Thank you! Would definitely book this house again.

The location was great. The house space was open and perfect in fitting everyone in the main area for team meals and activities. Would return again but mostly likely in the summer.

This is a great place for a larger family. We have twelve, including six adults and six younger ones from kindergarten to 17. Plenty of sleeping areas. We needed a porch light replacement for our late arrivers and Todd was right over to replace it! We had a wonderful weekend.

Great place. So much room. Enjoyed time sitting on the back deck - even had a visit from a deer. Our trip was planned as a relaxing time, not a typical overbooked, always on the go vacation. We were able to use the very well stocked kitchen. The large dining table was great for meals, crafts, and games. And then we all had our own space when it was time to quit for the evening.

Was a great set up with 3 roomy levels and full bathrooms on each of those levels. Everything was very clean and owner was amazing at communicating with us about any questions we had. Great main floor area for everyone to congregate with a dining table that seats 10-12 people. It’s also close to the outlet mall and other shopping and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

I had read a few unfavorable reviews about this property, but it was so perfect for our group that I decided to book it anyway. I was so glad that I did! It is just so charming! It has a cozy feel while still having room for everyone. There were so many cute touches. Everything was very clean. We had a mix of family and friends, ages 2 - 86, staying with us for our daughter’s small beach wedding . We were able to find places for everyone to sleep and loved having a bathroom on every floor. Wonderful experience!

We had a great time.! The house was exactly as described. We all had plenary of space and enjoyed the deck and privacy.

Appreciated Todd’s flexibility regarding check in time! Charming, clean home with outdoor spaces. Well stocked kitchen. Very close to the lake. Mattresses in a few areas super hard for sleeping. This may not be a negative for some, but hard on my back.

Very nice house and super close to the beach. Our wifi went out and the owner, Todd was very responsive. It was a holiday and he came right over to fix it. Nice guy!

Overall was clean. I am very picky so there were a few things that could have been cleaner. But we had a great time and would stay there again

This house was EXACTLY what we needed for our vacation. It was the perfect size for our extended family (3 floors for three families). It is so close to an awesome beach as well. The owner was super quick and helpful when we needed some assistance with the Wi-Fi. We would love to make this trip to this house an annual thing!

Outside the property was not clean, the patio was very dirty, table included nasty ashtray with cigarette butts in it, gutters cluttered, grounds unkept. The thermostat would not stay at a steady temperature. Many spiders and insects were in the house, downstairs shower had black substance coming out. TV did not work.

We will be back very soon.

We were very disappointed with the conditions & cleanliness of the “yellow house”. No kitchen dish cloths, oven was filthy, one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, burnt out light bulbs, no soap for bathing, no mattress pad on one bed, cobwebs & insect debris, poor mirror access in bathrooms & french door frames were grimy. We were charged XXX for cleaning fee, obviously it wasn’t cleaned prior to our arrival. This home needs attention.
