My wife and I loved the stay, the chatue was even nicer then the description, the location was great, we had such a wonderful time while staying here. The host was wonderful and friendly.

We are pretty picky when it comes to accommodations and this place exceeded all of our “requirements”. Location, space, comfort, Internet, view of the Bayou, proximity to everything, friendly hosts, and the list goes on. All details were covered – it almost felt like we were home. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are spacious and well-appointed, kitchen has everything you need, and parking is convenient. We got really lucky finding this place when we decided at the last minute to visit new Iberia. We will come back again very soon

Chateau Royale is truly unique given the history of the property and located looking out on the Bayou Teche. The Chateau's back porch is one of the highlights of the accomodation and offers a relaxing escape to enjoy morning coffee or an evening glass of wine (or 2!). The Chateau itself is decorated in an ecclectic, jazzy, shabby chic kind of style and was very comfortable throughout. Mickey and Tiffany thought of everything that a family could need or want; we lacked nothing! Mickey outdid himself by being so attentive and hospitable and we are very much hoping to return post-haste to Chateau Royale and New Iberia. We love this property. My husband and I stayed at Chateau Royale for the weekend with our two teen daughters and their friend. The house is beautifully appointed. Mickey and Tiffany have everything you might possibly need available to use - even extra toothbrushes! The deck overlooking the Bayou was a wonderful way to start the day with a cup of coffee and finish the day with a glass of wine. Beds were very comfortable and the girls enjoyed the loft. We liked the proximity to shops and restaurants in New Iberia and we walked to St. Peters for early mass on Sunday. On a final note, Mickey and Tiffany are very accessible and will be very helpful with questions you might have or suggestions for activities. We will be back!

Between the location, cleanliness & beauty of this place, we didn't want to leave!!! The balcony alone was an awesome place to work or relax and enjoy! They had everything we needed except for clothes!!

Great place with lots of character within a perfect little town that is walkable. Enjoyed breakfast at Victor's and great Italian at Calabrias. Hosts were amazing.

We have stayed at this location one time before and had to cancel due to Covid. We were so excited to come back and bring our family. The unit is so charming and pretty. Truly stocked with everything you could need. The beds are comfy. There is a super cute loft for kids to sleep and hang out. The deck out back over the bayou is beautiful. There is a large table out there to have dinner at and comfy furniture. We all totally relaxed and enjoyed ourselves and the unique things there are to see in the area. Mickey is easy to reach and a very friendly guy. We look forward to returning!

We were thrilled with this property! It is conveniently located for exploring Acadian country. The attention to detail in the unit it fabulous! We spent a lot of time on the back deck…watching the boats go by in the beautiful Bayou Teche! The owners were incredibly easy to work with. Highly recommended….we will be back!!!

The Chateau Royal was beautifully decorated , very clean and a perfect location . Our family celebrated Avery ‘s 10 th Birthday on Avery Island . Avery also has a La state notebook due this year in her class so we were able to visit the Avery Island experience which was awesome & get a some great pics . We ate at Preservation Restaurant on our stay and the food / service was fantastic . We even got a pic with the Chef for her School project . The weekend could not have been any better. We were very impressed with Chateau Royal . It was everything we would expect South Louisiana to be ! ❤️

The was a fantastic property conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. The property is amazing, with a beautiful view of the bayou.

Our weekend getaway surprised us with a New Orleans feel in decor, architecture , and busy street. So many places to take out food in walking distance. Lovely walk around town with shops and historical sites to see. Great weekend get away.

I absolutely loved my stay here. I actually only live 15 minutes away, but i wanted a place for a girls night out (no kids, no laundry, no cleaning house before guest came over)! This was the perfect location! It is within walking distance to my favorite restaurants. So it was perfect to have a little wine and cheese tasting at this house before dinner. The kitchen was perfect for entertaining, and back porch overlooking the bayou was fantastic. We were able to walk to the restaurant for dinner, and walked back after. It’s located right off of Main Street. They always are having events in the Plaza within walking distance! We got to enjoy an arts and crafts show on the Saturday before check out! This house is one of the hidden gems of New Iberia!

Loved our stay at Chateau Royale! Brought our two dogs and they had just as good of a time as we did, maybe better. Plenty of room for all of us. Nice size kitchen where I was able to do some cooking. Beds were comfortable, and appreciated the jetted tubs. We'll be back!

3rd time at this place, and it is always great.

We came in town for a wedding and just needed a place to sleep. We were so surprised by the charm of the town and the beautiful home. It was very inviting and relaxing. We had everything we needed and things we didn't know we needed (such as a great radio and an outdoor deck) We wish we could have had more time just hanging out! Might have to come back just for a mini weekend getaway ;) Hosts were fantastic!

We thoroughly enjoyed this property while in town on business. The house was extremely clean and very well appointed with everything we needed, and then some. Outstanding deck to relax and grill on! I will definitely stay here again.

Our family of four stayed here for one night on the way back to TX from a beach vacation. It was a slice of Louisiana heaven and we wished we could have stayed another night. This historic business building has been beautifully renovated with attention to excellence in craftsmanship. It is artfully decorated, in a warm and welcoming New Iberia style, and has a large deck overlooking the bayou. There are two full bedrooms and baths, with comfy beds, plus a cute loft area that sleeps two kids. Some places provide none of the little things you always forget (paper towels, hand soap, laundry detergent, salt and pepper) but the Chateau had them all, as well as books, games, and other thoughtful touches. So appreciated! Walk one block and you are one the main street with restaurants ranging from Calabrian Italian and sushi, to cajun and new American. It seems like almost every building was built in the 1800's and has a bronze about its history. Walking on we found art galleries, pubs, a museum, a pecan store, and a restored plantation home that can visited. We can't wait to come back to the Chateau and explore more.
