This house was perfect for our little family of 4. The house is perfectly located to the beach and we were able to walk to all our favorite spots. The house had everything we needed and the backyard and garage were a great bonus. Would gladly stay here again!!

Feels like home

This was a great property in a perfect location. I parked my car in the garage and never had to drive. We were able to walk to everything or ride the bikes that were part of the rental. I would definitely rent this adorable cottage again.

We enjoyed playing freebie and attempting to surf. The home and area was clean and seemed safe. The kids and I appreciated we were not on the main boardwalk, and when you step out of the front door, you can see the beach. I would love to stay there again.

We had a great time and the property was beautiful. Great location and Matt was great to work with. Really appreciated it.

Home away from home

Our family loved staying at this little home so close to the sand at Newport Beach. It was private, had everything we needed, and so close to everything! We will definitely come back! What a bonus to have beach chairs and bikes available for use. The cherry on top was being able to park in the garage out back (we were able to fit our minivan no problem). Thank you Matt for opening your home up to our family for a relaxing vacation!

We love staying at this beach property. It's got everything we need to enjoy ourselves at the beach, and the location is perfect. This is our 2nd time utilizing this cute cottage and we can't wait to come again.

Matt as always is wonderful to work with, and provides quick responses to anything that may come up. This is one of our favorite places to stay in Newport. The house is cozy, quaint, and the perfect size for our family. Not to mention it's only steps from the beach.

Amazing stay!

We have stayed at this nice little beach house for the past 2 summers and my kids & have enjoyed our stays. The house is close to the end of the street so the beach is close and walkable all day long as we can enjoy the beach and then get out of the sun when needed. The house is old and cozy and feels like a home.

Wonderful original design home and great host readily available to answer any questions. Home is located in a FANTASTIC neighbourhood. We had a great time.

Property was clean, safe, and in an amazing location. Loved the family feel rather than a cold, modern refurb. Would stay again anytime!

My husband sent me and my college roommate on a 2 day get-away trip for our birthdays. I can't say enough good things about this place. It is an old house, filled with vintage touches and charm. This home welcomes you in such a cozy way, you feel enveloped in a big hug as soon as you walk in through the front door. Everything was bright and beachy, full amenities, everything you might want was readily available. The bedrooms were stocked with extra pillows and blankets, the heater kept us toasty as the January weather at the beach was a bit overcast and foggy. (But we didn't care! Went for walks on the beach anyway!) There were great restaurants nearby, lots of places to explore.. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend this home. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We stayed for 3 nights in November. We have 2 kids, 3 and 4 years old. They had a blast. The sand yard is awesome if you don't want to go to the actual beach. The kitchen is fully stocked and so cute! There were some fun games for the kids to play inside too. Thank you for being so family friendly!

What a great place to stay and vacation. Steps to the beach and a few short blocks to the pier, shops and restaurants. House is fully equipped with everything from beach towels, sand toys,, beach chairs, boogie boards and bikes, very affordable housing.

This house was the sweetest. Our teenagers loved being able to go out in the morning and walk to the donut shop. Also walking distance to many food and bar options. The house was thoughtfully lay out. Plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows. Also, plenty of hooks in the closets and bathrooms. I know that's an odd observation, but those hooks are so helpful when you have a lot of jackets and sweatshirts! There is only one bathroom, but outside the bathroom is an additional sink, mirror, and shelves, allowing others to get ready if someone is using the bathroom. The garage meant that we didn't have to fight for parking. That was a huge gift! It was too cold (for us) to use the boogie boards, but we loved using the bikes in the garage to ride around town. Our entire family agrees that we will return!

This house was perfect for our family of 4, and an excellent location for our kiddos ages 3 and 5. Having everything in walking distance (beach, bike/scooter path and restaurants) was golden when traveling with little ones! Such a convenient location and it was so helpful to have bikes and scooters and sand toys at the house, as well as a little backyard which I imagine is rare in the area. The house is adorable and cozy, loved looking at the old photos and imagining the history there. Would love to stay again!
