Once you are in the house, it is like living in a bird's nest. You look out through the trees to the bay beyond.It gave such a feeling of calm. We could walk out the back and down toward the bay and all the opportunities there. The house is comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed.

It was my friend's birthday and we had a great time. Location was awesome we walked everywhere. Plenty of space and lovely views. The place has been very well cared for and it shows.

View of harbor was superb, kitchen well stocked. Lots of games, books & music, no TV.

I was looking for a place to just relax and enjoy the Bodega Bay area, grill some Hog Island oysters and get some chowder from Spud Point Crab Co. I also needed a place I could spend the mornings writing. This was the perfect house for me and my family. Will definitely book again!

Comfortable place with a great sunroom and deck with beautiful views of Bodega Bay. Close to a lot of great options for food, hikes, drives and overall nice place to stay. Will be back!

Wonderful views enhanced by recent tree trimming. Wonderful kitchen enhanced by recent new oven. Fabulous sunroom. Great new cement for parking. In general a comfortable place to stay.

We stayed one day only, not the originally scheduled 4 nights and that first morning was intensely uncomfortable which is why it was necessary to leave. Our hosts knew we were 3 senior women who were vacationing to celebrate 2 birthdays...{one 77th and one 80th). All of us are in good health and fitter than most our age. There was no wifi available the first day and night and trying to reach our hosts proved fruitless. But the worst part was to come the first morning when workmen showed up to clean up the grounds at the front of the property facing the bay. It has a marvelous view, which we were enjoying in our pajamas with our coffee, when workers started walking on the deck and around the side to access the front shrubs and trees. One man actually climbed the tree on the front side of the main window and started trimming the tree with a power saw!! There are no drapes or curtains of any kind in this house...so we abandoned the idea of breakfast watching the bay and went to get dressed. That was the next surprise...no curtains in the upstairs bathroom made it possible for the workmen putting a new roof on the property next door to peer straight into that upstairs bathroom!!! What a surprise that was!! I have pictures of all of this and the ants. With all of the noise from the roofers nail guns, the power saw trimming the tree and the gentlemen hauling yard debris around the house and deck we decided to leave to try to figure out what to do to remedy the situation.

Great location and beautiful view of the bay. WiFi but low tech (1 small old tv available for DVDs only). Spacious master bedroom down steep stairs has even better views. Beautiful glassed in room which came in very handy when it was raining.

We had a bit of trouble parking since the neighbor had paved the front of the house and we had to try and park in a small space right next to the busy highway. Also we had to spend a bit of time finding the doorway into the front porch. But from there onwards it was great stay. Bodega bay is a quiet relaxing place. The store next door was very convenient and we enjoyed their pizza which was fresh.

Cozy place- especially enjoyed the living area upstairs when you open all the windows to hear the birds- feels like you are outside. Panna/ owner is very responsive and helpful. Needed to be in Bodega Bay for a week and also work. Wifi is very good, but a lot of my Verizon calls dropped- even on wifi calling. I would recommend taking some of the older chairs out of the lovely windowed living area. Parking and pulling in and out of parking area is a bit hard at times because of CA -1- but the trade off is the convenient location.

The views from this property are outstanding. The upper and lower levels both have wonderful views, and lots of birds to watch. The home is a comfortable space with lots of seating, both indoor and out. Right in town and a short drive to everything Bodega Bay has to offer. Added bonus, can walk down some stairs to the Marina. We will likely return to this spot.

This cottage on the bay was charming, offering spectacular views of the water, birds and ever changing weather. The close proximity to various activities made it even more appealing.

We had a good stay! We felt the house could’ve been cleaner. When you pay a cleaning fee the sheets should be clean. We were happy there was a washer & dryer so that we could strip the bed and wash the bedding. The crumbling parking area was a dangerous place to pull out to the busy street. The view is fabulous and we enjoyed walking down from the house to the marina. The heaters were great which we needed to stay warm & dry in this maritime environment.

We loved being on the bay and having great views when we were at the house. Great Wi-Fi (I had to work one day, and this is a great spot to do it). The house had everything we needed and overall this was a great trip for us.

This property is the beach-town equivalent of ski-in, ski-out lodging. You park your vehicle on the 1st day and don't have to touch it again until you leave. For relaxing, that's not so unusual, but from this house, you can walk to 2 stores, 4 restaurants, sportfishing, and kayaking in literally under 5 minutes. In 10 or 15, you can get to other restaurants, hiking trails, and more. The house itself is nicely upgraded and very comfortable. Not one of those odd rentals where 2 people use 1 bath, and 4 or 6 use the other! Balanced layout, plenty of great details like towel racks in the bathrooms and spices in the pantry. It made for a truly special experience for my wife and me and our 2 sons in their 20s.

I decided to take my family to the Bodega Bay Area, as I had lived nearby about 20 years ago, and had great memories of my time there. Not really knowing what to expect, as pictures typically don’t do a place justice, that was the case for Bird Watcher Paradise 2. Walking into the property, opening the door, and seeing that view from the living room was just breathtaking. We had what we needed. Everything was clean. It was perfect for what we were looking for. We felt like we were staying in a treehouse! The views are stunning. We were fortunate to have both sunny and misty days. Such a lovely escape from the heat. The location is fantastic for walking to everything. The steps out the back lead directly to two restaurants and the small marina. The only suggestion we have is to bring a robe and eye masks if you are staying in the downstairs bedroom as there are gorgeous big windows but no blinds. Overall, we had an amazing time here.

This property is very centrally located to great trails as well as the beach. It has a wonderful view of the bay which is very relaxing.

My Wife and I had an amazing time in Bodega Bay! We were blown away with the views from all over the house. It was close to so many shops and restaurants which was nice after a long day of exploring. Our Host's were extremely helpful throughout the entire process from reserving, getting to and in the house, and suggestions on things to do while in town! We cannot wait to come back to Bodega Bay!

Comfortable house on the harbor with a great view in a really cute and fun town.

We throughly enjoyed our time at the Heron’s Nest, so much so that we ended up adding days to our stay. Panna was great making us feel welcome and provided us with valuable information for our drive home amidst inclement weather. Location was perfect, right next to the market and so many places to explore nearby. We would definitely come back!

The home in Old Town Bodega Bay was perfect for our family of four and mini-dachshund. The house was extremely clean, private, and had beautiful views of the bay. We loved the fact that we were able to walk to Diekmann’s (next door) to get ice cream and whatever ingredient we needed. Parking was tight for our Tundra. However, if you follow the tips that are provided by Panna, it was simple and we had no issues getting in and out of the driveway onto highway 1. Overall, this place was perfect and we can’t wait to come back.
