We loved this house! Exactly as described, everything you need in a gorgeous house. Instructions were well laid out to make everything easy to use. Loved the hot tub and the view was amazing. I couldn’t stress enough how wonderful this place was and would absolutely recommend to anyone. We want to come back !

We had a great stay. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the view was nice. We would recommend to anybody staying in the area.

This was a great little cabin to stay in. The hot tub was very welcome after a long day of traveling and appreciated that there was coffee provided so we had that in the morning. Was nice that adult and two kids could each have their own sleeping facilities. Shampoo and conditioner were provided which was appreciated. Felt pretty isolated so if you want to be able to cook anything there make sure you stop in advance of settling in. We were there less than twelve hours because we got in very late and got going early but it was a great stay!

The hostess was incredibly responsive and kind. The house was just what our family needed as a space to relax after our adventures exploring the many beautiful sites nearby. We will definitely will be back!

Although our stay was cut short by a cancelled flight, we really enjoyed the house, location, and surrounding area. Wish we could have stayed longer.

I went to this property with my family from the US. It is close to Borgarnes but feels utterly remote. The view from the hot tub is gorgeous, the home is comfortable and was well-stocked for cooking meals and staying in. It was a perfect getaway.

The views from this house are unbelievable. We enjoyed staying at this house and had the luck to see northern lights on our first night. The information packet provided by the owner was very helpful, especially upon arrival. Hot tub was great for relaxing. Only thing we could have used was a microwave, but otherwise the house was perfect!

Wish we could have stayed here longer, it was a def highlight to our trip. Northern lights both nights, loved being able to see them from inside; house was cozy and warm. Warning to other US travelers, this was all on us but because we couldn’t get local cell service, we had to have someone back home call to open the gate for us to enter/exit. T Mobile claimed we’d have service, and we could text etc, but actual calls were blocked. Hosts were very accommodating, and happy to open for us, we just hated inconveniencing everyone! A minor hiccup for a great location far away from light pollution etc. Also really appreciated the recommendations on activities and places to eat etc. Highly recommend adding the local craft store, we all ended up with beautiful pieces of jewelry and knitting.

The property is impeccably well-appointed and maintained, and was the perfect getaway close to majestic scenery!

We wanted a place to max out our chance of seeing the northern lights and this home did not disappoint! We saw an amazing show both nights. Our first sighting was from the hot tub - does it get any better than this?! The house was extremely comfortable. The all of the instructions from the host were spot on - we had no issues finding the property. We enjoyed a few meals in Borgarnes and easily accessed the golden circle and the Langjökull glacier. We can’t thank the hosts enough for sharing this amazing property. Takk!

Lovely, very clean cottage-well equipped with all you need. Perfect location for daily excursions on the west coast. Host was very responsive and checkin/checkout was simple!

What an amazing place. This cabin is so cute, nicely decorated, clean and comfortable! Its conveniently located near Bogarnes where you can find everything you need yet feels like in the middle of nowhere with amazing views. Its very private and was the perfect base to explore the west. The host were wonderful, great communication and helpful! Thank you!

Myself, my husband and two boys stayed at this property for 3 nights and we really wish it was longer. The cabin was well equipped and extremely comfortable. One of the highlights of the trip was coming home from a full days sightseeing and relaxing in the hot tub, we were also blessed to witness a Northern lights show on our last night. I would not hesitate to recommend this property, we had a wonderful time.

This is a great rental located outside Borganes, Iceland. Perfect for day trips to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, local geothermal spa (Kerio) and elsewhere. We loved feeling remote, isolated and away from people but also having the convenience of Borganes being only 8 minutes away. The remote location is great for seeing the Northern Lights if conditions are suitable. The house is very clean, well docorated with nice décor, well supplied and very well maintained. The hot tub was clean, hot and ready to go--awesome on chilly, windy nights! And the bedroom was extremely comfortable--dark room and comfy bed and pillows for sleeping. Definitely worth a visit!

Great place to break up the distance traveling!

This property has 360 degrees of views of mountains. It is just beautiful. The hot tub is very relaxing and the home is well equipped and comfortable. Being only an hour from Reykjavik makes it plausible to return, and we hope we will!

With Bunkbeds in these rooms, we would've been comfortable if we were a family of 6! Very clean & Easy to get to. Borgarnes is a short 10 minute drive with a local grocery store, bakery, and a few nice restaurants. Each day we were able to drive out, go for hikes, return back and make a meal for our Dinner. Wifi & internet connection were really high quality. My wife and I own our own business and I spent mornings catching up on things. There were no issues with connectivity at all! I needed to contact the owner once during our staff for a minor issue. They were very responsive and a ton of help! Bottom line is that we were 100% satisfied with everything this cottage had to offer. We would rent it again in a heartbeat. Thanks Heidi & Robert!!!!

Das Objekt liegt wunderschön im Hinterland und bietet eine sehr gute Ausstattung und einen wunderbaren Blick übers das Land aus allen Räumen. Der Whirlpool brachte uns nochmal Entspannung und eine tolle Aussicht. Das Haus ist optimal für 4 - 6 Personen.

Well equipped and very fine house situated in a lovely landscape with a fine view. Great to end the evening watching the mountains from the hot tub.

We had a splendid stay in the Kettur house. Worked very good for our familiy of 5. Fine nature. Great views. Perfect hot top. Clear communication with the owner before and during our stay.
