What a great spot! Literally steps from the beach on a private path off the deck. And, oh, that deck... Super clean, and very comfortable and roomy. The pictures say it all, so trust them!

3 generations and we all had an amazing time! This place is the best and exactly as described! Such a peaceful break from the world. Cell service is iffy but not really an issue if you connect to wifi. We cannot wait to book again and come back. Dogs even had a great time!

It was really fun to be able to walk out from the cabin directly to the beach. The house was well stocked with everything we needed, and had a great open layout. Waking up every morning to a view of the ocean can't be beat.

The cabin had everything we needed to have a great trip (boots, flashlights, games, puzzles, and more). The cabin is on a dead end road with a few other homes, but it felt very private. Unfortunately it rained a bit so we weren’t able to enjoy sitting on the deck to watch the waves, but that didn’t stop us from digging clams with the beach being very close to the cabin. We will be back. Thank you so much for sharing this gem with us😌

The view, location, and accommodations were perfect for our two couple group. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked with cookware, and the beds were comfy for all. The short trip to Seabrook for groceries and beverages was an easy drive. We could definitely have stayed here longer to just relax and breathe in the ocean air, but we did enjoy our forays into Olympic NP. Great place to stay!

Couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. Property exactly as described. The views out the big windows were picturesque and the sunsets were even better. Easy walk to the beach on the cute little path and we practically had the beach to ourselves!! Our dogs had a blast playing in the water and the outside shower was nice to rinse them off when we got back to the house. The only thing I would add is some blinds on the front window as the afternoon sun got the house quite warm. Everything that you would need they have provided. Seabrook is an easy 7 minute drive if you need groceries or a bite to eat. Definitely will be back and would stay here again!!

This was the PERFECT place to stay! Spacious, light-filled, with comfy furnishings. Just sitting and gazing out at the ocean and sky through the enormous floor-to-second-floor-ceiling windows was restorative. But we also took long walks, following the sweet little path the owner had built from the yard through the bushes and over the creek (heard frogs) out to the beach -- a short distance, and then you can walk miles in either direction. We made elaborate dinners and found all the cooking equipment we needed -- and then some! Unfortunately it was too cold to sit on the deck or use the grill ... but we will return, and maybe in warmer weather!

What can I say. This is our 2nd time staying with Paul. We are already planning our 3rd. This kitchen is fully stocked. The view brought tears to my eyes, yes even the 2nd time! Close to Aberdeen for shopping and close to Quinalt Rainforest for a beautiful hike. My husband left his cpap and they overnighted it to me via the mail! Restful stay and consistent good service from amazing hosts! Thank you Paul!!!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! This was my second time staying at the Moclips cabin. This place is stocked with everything we needed for beach activities, games/puzzles for indoors, and a warm outdoor shower to rinse the sand off. It was so relaxing to sit in this cozy cabin talking and watching the weather roll in off the water.
I’m sure I’ll be visiting the home again in the future! ☺️

Information online was exactly what we found except even better - you couldn't have asked for a better get-away and VIEW. The place was well-stocked and probably better than what I have at my home.

All the comforts of home! Have you ever gone somewhere and found out you didn't have an item, such as a corkscrew, salt or flashlights? This home had it all including a doggie basket filled with old towels and toys for the beach. The best part about the home was that it has 2 comfortable recliners that were perfect for watching the beach and sunsets. Easy access to the beach and an incredible deck to soak up some rays. We will definitely be back!

This house is exactly as advertised and more! Beautiful home, very clean, fantastic deck and views, pet friendly and a short private walk to the beach. Given we went in March, the trail was extremely wet but also very managable. We were 4 adults but I can see how this would be a great place for kids, with all of the amenities this house offers. We’ll be back!

I (we) have stayed in many rental places around the country - and even some parts of the world - for many years. This property was far and away the best we have ever stayed in. We have stayed near the Pacific Ocean from California, Oregon and Washington and have never found a place with such ease of access to the beach and relative seclusion. The house is beautiful and came fully stocked with everything imaginable. It felt like home when we walked through the front door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and my wife had what she described as the best birthday celebration ever. We tried hard to find something that needed improvement but could find nothing. We hope we have a chance to stay there again.

Typical of Washington winters it was a bit rainy and overcast for our stay. That does make this property or our experience any less amazing and walking the beach with that misty magic was fantastic!
Close by are several geocaches as well as a funky museum and the charming town of Seabrook. We enjoyed getting out and about and listening to the roar of the waves throughout the days.
Definitely worth a repeat visit!

This house is the PERFECT coastal getaway. It’s an ideal location to look at and hear the ocean and walk down to enjoy it with the pups. The kitchen has modern appliances and and setup well to cook together. The spare rain coats and rain boots were such a nice touch to help us enjoy a rainy evening attempting to get some clams! We loved our stay with the dogs and will be back again:

Awesome property, even better than in the pictures! All the amenities you’d want, yet still with that beach cabin vibe. Close access to the beach (thanks for building the boardwalk so we can walk over the muck!!) and our little 4 legged friend felt very welcomed with his own basket of towels, bowls and tennis balls! We have been renting cabins in Moclips for decades, and this one is definitely going on the short list!!!

We had a wonderful time and will highly recommend this place to others (I already have). Very spacious, fabulous view, amazing loft and view, very clean, and well stocked with supplies.
It's always hard to find a place that will allow dogs, and 2 no less! The place was right on the beach and it was a short jaunt along a private plank path to the water.
We loved that we could completely detach and relax. It was very comfortable and we spent hours listening to the ocean from the deck.

This was our 4th year on Sunset. We were happy to have found this home as other listings have gone. Everything you need is there. Beds are great! The warm outdoor shower for rinsing sand is awesome. Privacy is great. Beach trail perfect. One thing I would add is some curtains for the upstairs master and the upper windows of the living room. It was a bit of a challenge to use the dinning table in the afternoon with the Sun. We had a GREAT stay. Will Be back!

Amazing views of the ocean from the house. Well equipped kitchen with everything needed to cook meals. House was very clean and had everything we needed. So nice having a path to the beach right outside your door. Enjoyed walking along the beach, watching the seagulls eat the crabs that got washed ashore, and watching the sun sink into the ocean at the end of the day. Even saw a bald eagle sitting on a log on the beach. About a 40 minute drive to the Lake Quinault area (recommend hiking the Quinnault Loop Trail). Would love to come back and relax by the ocean.

We enjoyed this house. The beds need to be redone, for two couples, linens as well as sizes, but we made them work ok for two couples with one sleeping on a bunk bed as the available beds are queen (me) and double (not for 2 people). Good for kids only. Kitchen was great. The path to the beach is made of wooden planks and works GREAT!

We had an amazing anniversary at the beach, it was great to be able to bring our dogs and have a dog friendly house to stay at. Everything was very clean and communication was excellent and the view is amazing.
