The updates of the home, the size of the rooms and bathrooms, the amenities included, the view outside, the proximity to the pool complex, and all the little extras made our stay so pleasurable! I would stay here again 😊

Island Pearl fit our needs perfectly. Our family enjoyed the benefits of a big common backyard area. Lots of room for the little ones to run. We loved the closeness of the pool, as the path to it, was right off of our driveway.. We will return next year!

Great property with a wonderful location!

The rental was amazing. Beautiful location and spacious right next to the pool and hot tub. Best out of all our stays through VRBO. Tried to book it again for December but it was full. This would be our go to spot for out getaways. Great hosts ♥️

This was a wonderful place to stay for our family of 5. The pictures do not do it justice. So much room for all of us, a fully equipped kitchen with high end appliances, right next to the pool and short drives to the most beautiful beaches. We didn't figure out we were walking distance to the cute shops until the end of our stay but could have done a morning stroll for coffee each day. Very comfortable with all of the amenities you could ask for. Mahalo!

We had a great stay at the island pearl villas! The location was fantastic- right next to the pool and in short walking/driving distance to amazing beaches. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances/gadgets and the beds were all comfortable. The only issue we ran into was in regards to the cleanliness. There were small bugs in the kitchen on the counter next to the sink and we found clothes from the previous stay upon arrival. One of the pull out beds also appeared to have not been cleaned. Regardless for the price and location we had a fantastic time and would stay again.

My family and I stayed here for a couple of nights; great location and really nice pool! It's a wonderful space and perfect for a family. The access to the private beach club was perfect as well!! We would definitely stay here again!

The property was very much what we expected to find from the pictures and description on-line. It's a very nice neighborhood, centrally located in the Mauna Lani resort. Three large bedrooms provide equal comfort for three couples with no one needing to squeeze into a third bedroom meant for children. All of the bedrooms had their own bathrooms and king size beds. The furnishings are a bit bland, but the kitchen was well stocked with all of the appliances we needed and the grill came in very handy. The property is right next to the community pool, but fairly well protected from the noise coming out of the pool area. The property does have a fair amount of deferred maintenance. Some of the sliding doors would not lock, several of the closet sliders or shutters to the outside have come off their tracks so would not close or closed with difficulty and one of the sinks was backed up. However, overall it served us well. Everyone had a comfortable rook and we enjoyed the location. I would certainly come again.

The home was perfectly equipped for our party of 7. The home was beautiful, clean and located in an excellent location near all the best beaches! There’s also a well stocked grocery store just down the street. The garage was nicely equipped with all the beach gear you might need. Tons of beach towels and even an ice chest! This particular villa was directly next to the pool which was very convenient. The night we arrived we had a neighbor upset that our vehicle was in the driveway, we hadn’t even unloaded our suitcases yet so that was a bummer. Apparently he wanted us to park all the way over in visitor parking then drag our suitcases to the house? Aside form our neighbor’s complaint, everything was PERFECT! If you’re on the fence, book it! You won’t regret it!

The property is very nice and it was very easy to communicate with the property manager. We like all the amenities, private access to the beach and how close it was to the pool. They really have everything you need for a great vacation. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful home with all the amenities. Loved their well stocked and spacious kitchen to entertain. Very comfy and spacious rooms, each with double sink, tub and shower attached. Swimming pool is right next door. Kids loved the bikes to cruise around on in a quiet and safe neighborhood. We enjoyed every bit of our staycation. Access to the beautiful private beach. Would definitely return.

The location is good. The pool for The Islands is very good. The Units are well built with expensive appliances. The quality of the furnishings in Unit L1 are mixed. The kitchen equipment and supplies are very good, as are the beach toys, but most of the remaining furnishings are low end for a unit of this calibre.

Loved that they supplied, beach chairs, towels, sand toys and bikes! Additionally, kitchen had all the necessities! BBQ and lanai's were amazing! Really large and spacious. Only recommendation we had was more seating in the living room. There wasn't enough seating in there for everyone. Property managers very attentive to inquiries.

We had a great stay during our time on the Big Island. The property is right next to the pool, and very close to the shopping center. It was also a short walk to the fish ponds and the beach. The kitchen was well appointed for any of your cooking needs including appliances (rice cooker, blender, etc.). The property as a whole was very clean. My only complaint is that there were a fair number of ants found in the laundry room and kitchen. Do not leave any food out overnight or the ants will be all over it by morning. Otherwise, we had a great stay!

The perfect place for a family vacation. I would highly recommend this place if visiting the Big Island. A nice back yard, think grilling at night, a pool next door complete with its own grills and lanai and brand new outdoor furniture. A short walk to the grocery store, or to the ocean.

Great place away from all the heavy tourism. Peaceful, beautiful and very comfortable house and location. The house was fully equipped, the beds were comfortable with clean, crisp linens, the 3 bedrooms with private baths were the best for everyone. We had a bit of A/C maintenance issue that the owner responded to on the same day. We would love to return every year if we could.

This is a breathtaking house - beautiful. Lots of extras - plenty of towels, beach towels, beach “stuff”, kitchen is well stocked with every appliance you need. The property itself is fabulous - a beautiful pool and the private beach had some of the best snorkeling we did on the island. Well worth the money.

This property is everything one would imagine from the description - it is absolutely lovely! The surrounding area is immaculate, the community pool is adjacent and almost always empty. Kitchen is well stocked, NEW full size bottles of Pantene shampoo and conditioner and bars of soap in all bathrooms, more than enough laundry and dish detergent for our 5 day stay and a binder detailing some of the owner's favorite things to do/places to visit in the surrounding areas. We did have some trouble with the cable and it was promptly reset for us but the problem continued intermittently throughout our stay. This may just be an "island problem" as we had the same issue at another property. Just something to note. Also, the hot tub at the pool area is just that - a hot tub, not a whirlpool or jacuzzi. The next door neighbor explained this to us one evening when we asked if it was broken. Regardless, this property would be our first choice if we return to the Big Island in the future!

We had an amazing stay at Puako on the Big Island.... We had everything we needed for our stay including bicycles, coolers, towels, snorkel gear... Place was clean and super spacious.. 3 large master bedrooms with ensuites.. We were also right next to pool.. Which we used daily.. Several awesome beaches are just 5-10 minutes down the road each way... I didn't golf this trip, but the course looks amazing...

Everything you need for a great stay. Beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, beach umbrellas, towels, even a wagon to haul it with. Not on beach but a short drive or easy walk (15 minutes) Very well equipped kitchen too

Let me begin by saying that we have renting dozens of VRBO places, I this vacation home was the best equipped for a family vacation that we have experience! I celebrated my 60th birthday with my someone his family, with kids 6, 4 and 2! The private beach was great being close and easy for kids, we visited the black sand beach several times, as well as Kua Beach - all great! If you have family, the golf cart we rented was worth the extra cost, made it easy to run places with the kids, and was a hit with them to go "exploring" in! We did the Akaka Falls, easy hike, and went to fabulous little free zoo in Hilo - worth seeing! I cannot say enough how much I appreciated the little things that made this vacation home wonderful - extra toilet paper stocked, tons of extra linens and beach towels, good quality kitchen/cooking ware/knives, basic cooking spices, even dish and dishwasher soap. It may sound small, but having to buy basic stuff like that never sits well when I arrive at a place. There were plenty of bikes (which we used), beach chairs, sand toys, noodles, boogie boards and snorkel equipment - all in really good shape! Some places advertise, but what you get when you arrive is not quite what is expected, but this place we hope to stay at again! I am the organizer for the 6 of us to paradise Big Island. I am very pleased that everyone was happy with my condo choice. Great location, quiet, clean, reasonably priced and the private beach club is a nice bonus. Each couple had a similar size of bedroom suite and they are away from each other added privacy. For some reason it seems more mosquitos this year than the past, therefore we couldn’t enjoy outdoor dining. Only suggestion is the living room could add couple sofa chairs to accommodate 6 people. It’s a large living room but there are one sofa and on loveseat.

The 6 of us loved staying in this place. We 3 couples had a great time. The place is clean and had lots of room to spread out. The kitchen is very well equipped. It was only a short walk to the pool area which was never crowded. The Beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are great. We enjoyed having a BBQ at the lanai and the lawn furnitures. If u are looking for a great time on the big Island this is a great place to stay. All of us would stay at this townhouse in a heartbeat.

This place was perfect. It was a great location, super clean and big enough for a family of 9. We came in and everything was stocked with anything you would possibly need for cooking and cleaning. They had dishwasher and laundry pods, shampoo, conditioner, soap...this place thought of everything. And the best part? You have access to one of the best beaches on island—they give you a card to get into the Mauna Lani beach which is phenomenal! If you didn’t want a beach day or if you wanted a quick dip in the pool, you could skip out your front door, walk a few quick steps and your at the pool. It was quiet and and convienent, especially when you have 3 crazy kids with you who just want to swim all the time! The location was great. You had the Mauni Lani shops a few minutes away and Beach Drive (which has more shops and places to eat) just right down the road. This place is in the middle of all the places you wanna be. If we needed anything they got back to us really quickly, they had great communication and were really friendly. I would definitely stay here again. Don’t pass this place up! Thank you for letting us stay, we loved it!

Our family has had a great week in this lovely, spacious home. We were traveling with 2 small children and this place is so well equipped with high chair, crib, bikes, beach stuff and it's a very kid-friendly environment. Each room has it's own master bath so we adults were all very happy and comfy, too. We all agree that we would love to stay here again.
