1st night (4 of 11 present) commode overflowed in main bath "due to excessive rainfall" [3.5 hours later owner response -use the master, it doesnt overflow. Stained towels; 4 wash cloths, 2 hand towels. Filth under EVERY bed. No folding table/trays; 6 dining chairs for 11 people.

The property was advertised as suitable for 12 although there was only a 6 chair table setting. Definitely could not all eat together. Living area only had couch, old recliner and two very uncomfortable chairs. Definitely needs more seating. House rules stated to use cutting board and not cut on counter only there is no cutting board. Twin beds were box springs on bottom bunks and very thin mattresses on top. Bunks were too high to use the top without hitting the ceiling.
While "linens and towels" were furnished, there was only enough towels for one night and would have to wash them every night. Ended up buying our own. If blankets were furnished, we couldn't find them,
Dock area was not well kept (wees and trash present) and lake was low so no water at the dock anyway.
Overall, not as advertised but it gave us a place to lay our heads at night.

The purpose was to gather with family for quality time shared. We filled the home with our children, grandchildren and a great grandchild. We played games watched football games, prepared meals together, visited park, fished, visited museum, attended a little league championship tournament and we enjoyed every moment! The owner was absolutely amazing throughout the process of planning.

The house was not very clean as indicated by dust, dirt, & spider webs everywhere. Most lamps were not in working order. Only 2 of the multiple TV would work. No hot tub as advertised. Boat house & dock were unusable due to low lake level. Exterior of the home has been neglected. Kitchen was not very well stocked. I booked the house for a boating trip and my friends that were there with me were disappointed.

We all really enjoyed our stay here and were able to get out on the lake every day with our boat and jet skis (once we were able to find a pathway through the milfoil) The location and lake access was perfect and the dock was amazing! The property itself could use some tlc, but a great time was had by all!

House, screen porch, boat house —all good. Great flat yard for games. House fairly close to Highway / bring ear plugs. Grocery and fast food less than 2 miles away. Chester Frost Park is a must / free and close by. Owner responded quickly to questions. Check in was super easy. Some updates / refreshing to house and property would add another 2 stars! Great place for our family gathering.

The property was as described. House has plenty of space and a well-appointed kitchen. Thoughtful decor made it welcoming. The memory foam mattress in the master suite was a pleasant bonus. The the screened-in area is a nice outdoor, but not outdoor, space. It's a 100 yard + walk to the dock, but the yard was mowed and it's a pleasant walk with lots of birds and green space.
Located less than 10 minutes from restaurants and a large grocery store.
Overall, a comfortable stay in a good neighborhood.

Everything was great. We’ll have to rent the place in the summer. It was very cold weather and the lake was very low. That’s no fault of the owner. It was very clean and well stocked with essentials.

This was a great place for the men in our family to fish and close enough for the women to enjoy shopping. The kids had a great time as well.

The property was beautiful. Very clean and lots to do. Had an issue with ac while we were there and management was all over it within an hour. Great place to stay.

This is an amazing property. Great location to stores and restaurants. Chester Frost is a must see if your in the area. House has plenty of room to spread out, for a large group. Thank you

We were meeting family and had family in town. We also had dogs. The property met our needs in that there was a large yard for the dogs. There is a covered patio that I could sit in outside with the dogs while everybody else slept. There is a covered dock for our boat. The owner is easy to get in touch with and responsive. This was our second time at this property and I am sure we will be back.

Great stay.Plenty of room. A mattress update is needed in the 3rd bedroom.
Nice outdoor area. Pots pans can use update. A little more attention to detail i by the cleaning crew. Mold in main bathroom and fixtures needs attention.

Lake Chickamauga 2022 vacation.
We had a great visit. The property was as advertised with plenty of room for 11 with the outdoor area being a plus. The full rental process including checking in and out was simple and efficient. Would love to return!

Nice location, loved the outdoor pavilion but only 1 of the 5 ceiling fans worked and only 1 light fixture would work occasionally! This place needs some TLC ! Has potential but it really needs an overhaul!!!!!

Nice location, loved the outdoor pavilion but only 1 of the 5 ceiling fans worked and only 1 light fixture would work occasionally! This place needs some TLC ! Has potential but it really needs an overhaul!!!!!

Terrible And not as described
Our family arrived to this property at about 7ish on the day of our arrival we went into the home which had not been cleaned from the previous guests who had just checked out hours before we arrived. Once we entered not one room in the house had been cleaned, the cover was rolled back from the last guest, cigarette buds were pulled in a cigarette tray. Total disgusting just to imagine we are arriving with 6 children and 3 of them were severely special needs, this place was just not as secluded as the ad mentioned. I immediately call the host and he did respond fast but his only accommodation was to buy our family dinner while he called and made to get the home cleaned. That unfortunately was just not good enough for us for one we had just ate 30 minutes prior to our arrival at the home the only thing we needed to do was getting in before 8 PM so that we could get our medical kids hooked to their G.I. Feeds. We explained that to the host but he would not budge with any other additional accommodations the only thing we want it was our money back so that we could find an alternative to stay that evening, we explained that us giving them an hour or two to clean the home would not get the home cleaned and turn back around in that short notice all of the bed linen comforters needed to be stripped from the beds washed dried and remade up not to mention bleaching down the bathrooms floors to get it Covid standard. The host would not budge issuing a cancellation. We called VRBO and made a claim in their suggestion was for the host to simply go in and cancel the reservation so that we could be refunded immediately but the host was on accommodating. Future guests please be ware and make sure you only use PayPal.

Close to everything, house was able to accommodate 12 easily. I would suggest an on demand hot water system...a tank runs down quickly with 12 at end of busy day. Other concerns were full trash cans on arrival and they didn't get dumped thru week...ended up with overflow but it worked out. The sharp cornered brick in front of fireplace needs serious padding for little ones...we used pillows and blankets to avoid an injury for little ones. We had a blast and would recommend this location to others...ff

Lots of pots and pans to choose from. Host was very responsive and helpful for any issues we had. Overall a great stay!

Awesome!
This rental was perfect for our family! We were very comfortable and had plenty of room inside and outside. The boat ramp was perfect for our kayaks. The two times I contacted the owner he answered quickly and was very helpful and personable. Would definitely recommend this property.

- Garbage disposal: partially broken, makes a terrible sound
- Pots / Pans / Utensils are all old, beat up, and disgusting
- No extra spices or anything (typically there are at least a few leftover from past stays)
- TV in main room wouldn't work
- Oven door handle kept breaking
- There was a mouse on a sticky pad in the pantry
The dock is a solid 100 yards away from the house, and the water is shallow and has a ton of seaweed, not a place where you would want to swim. We rented a boat and had to drive a fair way away from the property to find a place to jump in.
The house is right off a busy highway. Doesn't feel like any type of getaway and is loud. There are neighbors all around.
Someone is living on the property in a small house / 5th wheel. There was a car that was coming and going which made us feel very uncomfortable. We were expecting more seclusion and instead had the busy highway, lots of neighbors, and someone living on the property.
Overall pretty disappointed.

Family of 12 first out is state vacation post covid. First time not using a hotel or our camper and it was a success. Property was perfect. Loved the pavilion. The lake was perfect for the fishing and water sports.
