We absolutely loved this cabin. The communication before check-in was amazing. We loved the information about local hikes and restaurants. The cabin was very clean and very well stocked. Thank you for a fabulous weekend away.

A beautiful cabin up in the mountains! Quiet, peaceful, and sometimes creepy at night when lounging in the jacuzzi. I’m contemplating coming back in the fall!

Such a beautiful cabin. Enjoyed our visit. So clean. Loved the front porch swing fireplace and spa. Owners are so nice and informative. Highly recommend and would stay there again.

My husband and I enjoyed just relaxing at the cabin by the fireplace. The cabin was conveniently located to Blairsville, Blue Ridge, and Elijah. We did a lot of shopping at Alexander’s, ate at the Sawmill Restaurant and just chilled. If you’re looking for a cozy spot, this one will not disappoint.

This property was exactly what we were looking for! The cabin was homey and comfortable, the surroundings sooo quiet. We loved the screened porches all the way around, and the hot tub gazebo. The fireplace was nice to have going as well. We had everything needed to be comfortable and relax. The hosts are exceptional, with prompt communication and a well-appointed cabin. This was a quiet, peaceful, slow paced getaway, and we hope to come back very soon!

We had an amazing time at this sweet home in the woods. The kitchen was fantastic for home cooking, and the hot tub was a star! The property was very clean and welcoming, and the hosts were very informative throughout the process. Will definitely be booking again next year.

I brought my boyfriend up here as a suprise mini vacation before his next big work job. Absolutely hands down what we needed! The space was amazing, the view was spectacular, nice and quiet and 1000000% relaxing! This may be our yearly anniversary spot from now on. Adored this cabin!!

We had such a Wonderful Time with our stay at the Dancing Bear cabin. I had wanted to get a place that my wife and I could celebrate our Anniversary without the day-to-day concerns that we all face and our stay here was just that and more. Eunice & Jim have turned there home into a couple's paradise. There wasn't anything that we could have possibly wanted that wasn't provided for !! I hope there will be some time in the not to distant future that we can stay here again ! THANK YOU Eunice & Jim ... We Loved It !

We had everything we needed at this cabin. Lovely wooded area, immense wrap around porch, separate covered porch with hot tub. Hiking trails, waterfalls, nearby grocery stores and shopping. Great place to truly rest, read and enjoy conversation.

It was very enjoyable, the cabin is located off of the main drag. No noise of traffic, just you and nature. Definitely would recommend this cabin

Cabin was very nice and very clean. The best part about it was that it felt very secluded. You could hear people but not see them. We would stay there again.

Excellent location, hosts were great. Cabin exceeded our expectations.

The Dancing Bear was phenomenal. We enjoyed our short stay and will be back in the future!

We returned to the Dancing Bear to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The cabin was our honeymoon get away as well. This cabin is the ideal get away, with its perfect mixture of seclusion and convenience. It is 10 minutes or less from Blairsville which has everything you’ll from groceries to restaurants to local shops. The Bear is also a 20 minute drive from Blue Ridge, which we visited this trip and enjoyed the shops. We love this cabin and always enjoy interacting with Jim and Eunice Williams.

Cabin was very clean. Hot tub was the best we’ve ever experienced with the jets. Furniture clean and comfortable. Centrally located to attractions. Cooked everyday on the grill. Perfect cabin for a couple.

The cabin was just as described. It was very clean and the owners were easily reached when we had any problems. The air was not working, but the owner tried to rectify this.

This cabin was ideally suited to our purposes! It is clean and well sized for a couple, with a beautiful wrap-around porch and a wood aesthetic perfectly suited to a vacation home in the mountains. The property is not a run-of-the mill vacation rental when it comes to appliances and feels a lot more like being in a home than a cabin when it comes to creature comforts, which is wonderful if you want to do a lot of cooking and spending time at the cabin. It is also really well located: not a difficult drive to downtown Blairsville or other locations nearby, and easily accessed even with a regular car (no four wheel drive required). At the same time, the cabin is situated in a way that feels fairly secluded, even with no leaves on the trees. I imagine if one visited when there were leaves it would feel even more private. The owners are sweet and communicative, and instructions provided are very clear both for accessing the cabin and expectations for guests. I am very happy with having chosen Dancing Bear and can wholeheartedly recommend it for a romantic getaway for two.

We had a great stay at this property. Everything was exactly as described and in great shape. The directions to the cabin were perfect and easy to follow. The jacuzzi was just what was needed after some long hikes. We will certainly try to stay here again if we make it back to Blairsville.

Your cabin is absolutely beautiful.. we loved the bear decor and the holiday touches! The cabin was so clean, kitchen completely stocked, the bed and the leather couches were comfortable, and we loved the peaceful and quiet area. We hiked at the waterfalls and Brasstown Bald, rode the train in Blue Ridge, and went to the Orchards. Relaxed in the hot tub (such a nice area and set-up) and loved the wrap around porches. You both have truly thought of everything for a perfect stay. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us and we will be back!

Property was as described. Very quite and peaceful. Nicely stocked kitchen. Local restaurants were great. So relaxing we didn't want to leave.

2nd time staying at this property. Read 3 books, hiked to 5 waterfalls, ate at local restaurants and relaxed.

This cabin was perfect. Clean, well located, host was super. We enjoyed the hot tub after hiking. Loved the porch. Inside was large and comfortable. Can’t think of anything more we would have wanted. Close to Blue Ridge, Helen, and Blairsville. Will definitely be back.

Dancing bears cabin was even more beautiful than the pictures portrayed! Eunice, the owner, was amazing to work with! Even though we never met face to face, by the end of our stay, I felt like I had made a new friend! Our biggest problem while there was having to leave! This was our first time to this area but it won’t be our last!

Great getaway

I wished we stayed an additional day… or two… or three! There’s so much to do in North Georgia that we would've liked to spend extra time just to enjoy “Dancing Bear”! We were so impressed by the little touches in the cabin that made it special. The location is great and very private. We loved the wrap around porch and deck. We WILL be back!
