We were a mix of 27 adults and kids who spent a long weekend together at this fantastic property for a reunion. What a perfect location. It's size comfortably accommodated all of us. We made use of the large pool, the entertainment area in the barn, the large kitchen for meal prep, large tables for dining, and the numerous spaces around the property for relaxing and enjoying the nature that surrounded us. Several of us took advantage of the trail system on the property for hikes or runs. Check in and check out were easy as was communication with the host. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful four days at the Lodge. It was perfect for our family, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, lots of space both indoors and out to hang out, including the pool. Dottie was very responsive and responded promptly to all our questions. Kitchen was nicely equipped for preparing meals for almost 30 people. Altogether a great place to stay for,this kind of gathering.

The property was large and more than we needed for our family of 16. The great room was exceptional - we loved that all of us could be together in it and the kitchen. If you value family togetherness, this is your property. We were, however, puzzled that the kitchen was not updated. Because of the property's remote location, we really had no choice but to cook onsite...the old kitchen made feeding everyone more difficult than it should have been. The bedrooms & the smallish bathrooms were adequate. When one toilet clogged, Brook & Tom were wonderful in their very quick response. Both Brook & Tom were helpful in making our stay enjoyable. The barn and pool house were incredible activity spaces: lounging, ping pong, foosball, yoga & exercise. Please note the pool is not heated. Our group also loved walking around the 160+ acre property. One other concern: we were pretty far from emergency medical services. Luckily this was not an issue for my 90-year-old+ parents. Great location, and lovely property!

We rented the lodge for our wedding party and few friends during our wedding weekend. The property was fantastic and worked out really well for our group. There was plenty of room for everyone and lots to do without even leaving the property. Dottie was very easy to work with and very responsive to messages. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

We had a fabulous family reunion. Property and amenities are amazing. Three years ago we stayed here as well. However, we woke up the second and third mornings to no power. 6 hours of no power the first time. The last morning was a challenge packing up with no power. We couldn't communicate with the property manager. But we didn't let it dampen our enthusiasm for our wonderful reunion.

This is the perfect location for a family reunion. There is plenty of room for everyone to spread out or be all together. You don't have to leave the property if you don't want to. Just bring your own food and there's plenty to keep all ages entertained. I highly recommend this property for a family reunion group.

Great for a family reunion!

This property checked all the boxes for us. The only thing we had not paid attention to was the fact it was about a 45 minute drive from the fwy. The pool was amazing and our family of 17 fit great in the house. I would highly recommend it.

Hosted our second board/staff retreat. My board and staff all love the property. We are always well taken care of when we stay there and appreciate the care and attention.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. Beautiful estate and a lovely home. We most enjoyed the walks up the hill to watch sunsets and gaze at the stars in the nights.

It was such an amazing time at the ranch. Highly advise hiking to the viewpoint for a beautiful sunset and enjoying the pool all day!

We had an amazing group escape Covid retreat at Dottie‘s property. The place is amazing And very private. The facilities are great. Dottie is an attentive host. Can’t recommend highly enough. We hope to come back.

Great venue to stay and play golf on the California coast and have the room to house 16 adult golfers. The ranch had all the amenities we needed to have a great experience.

Recently I hosted my board and staff at the Lodge for a 3 day retreat. It was the perfect setting. Comfortable, secluded and in a beautiful setting. The kitchen was perfectly set up for large scale meal prep. Dottie and her team took care of us from start to end and we look forward to another stay soon.

Our family of 21 enjoyed three great days at the lodge. The accommodations were excellent, plenty of bedrooms and places to Gather in the main living area. The barn was a great place to hang out to play ping pong shuffleboard and Silent Disco. All ages from 9 to 80 had a great time.

We really enjoyed our stay at Oak Creek Lodge - the main house has a lot of character and the barn has been beautifully restored. Each family in our large group had its own privacy with plenty of bathrooms but at the same time we really enjoyed hanging out in the large living room to play games or just relax. We do a lot of cooking and really enjoyed the convenience and space of the large kitchen. We also did some nice hikes on the property. It was overall a perfect stay!

Everything about the ranch is incredible. It is the perfect place to host large groups as it is more than just lodging. There is plenty of space and the property itself is sprawling with lots to explore. The hosts were incredible and very responsive to our many questions. Highly recommend!

We were a group of 25 and had plenty of space. The property has a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bedding, bocce, yoga studio, swimming, hiking, ping pong and great congregating spaces for groups. Our group ranged in age from 11-82 and the property was enjoyed by all. We would defintely book it again.

Very pleased with this property. A wonderful setting and very comfortable for large groups. It was especially nice that sit down meals can be accomodated in one room.

We had been looking for lodging to accommodate 23 of us to celebrate a family reunion, and found Oak Creek. The size of the lodge was perfect, plenty of bedrooms, a great room for conversations, games, and space for little ones to set out their toys. The physical setting is stunning,...rolling hills studded with live oaks, very private, abundant wildlife(we saw a bobcat out the window the first morning), and the rooms/mattresses were very comfortable. We cooked half our meals, and had the other half catered, so you really must plan ahead. There are no close-by stores. Oak Creek had exactly the kind of space we needed, the facility was well maintained, attention had been given to decoration (though the kitchen could use a tune-up), and the caretaker was extremely helpful. The one big disappointment was the pool, which was closed while we were there -except for the last day- something we had looked forward to. If you anticipate swimming, don't book until June 1, when pool officially opens. Nonetheless, we had a great time. Loved the bocce ball court!

It was everything we expected and needed. Lots of room to get away from each other, beautiful, beautiful area for hiking, and a great fireplace. It was clean, modern and just wonderful. Cannot recommend highly enough.

What a lovely time we had staying at Oak Creek Lodge. It was nice to have so much space to roam around, and plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone. The only part that could do with an upgrade is the kitchen. Although large with plenty of appliances, the layout was awkward to use with the sinks so far away from everything. But anyone can make do and still have a great time staying here among the oaks, relaxing on the deck and enjoying the California sun. Thanks!

I hosted a meditation retreat at the Oak Creek Lodge and it was exactly what we were looking for. The place is really comfortable and spacious and the grounds are stunning. It is a bit remote so make sure to bring everything that you need. I look forward to hosting many more retreats here in the future.
