My family stayed here for a week. The kitchen was stocked really well. There were pots and pans for light or heavy duty cooking. Plenty of dishes for serving many guests at one time. Pool was cleaned before and during our stay, and they were cleaning it as we were leaving for the next guests. I found the bedrooms were very quiet even with people in the living or pool area which is great if you have different bedtimes living together for a week. This house definitely worked for us. Would rent again. As an added perk, there are fresh apple fritters available every day at Sandbridge Market which is about a 3 minute walk from the house. Usually sold starting at 6AM and sold out by 7:30AM because they are that good!

I was very disappointed in this property. One of the bedrooms that was listed as agame room with bunk beds and pullout couch did not say that it was completely separate from the main house. We could not use it for the children to sleep in because you have to go outside to get to this room and it has no bathroom. The house doesn’t seem to be very well maintained. The ac was not working in the game room when we arrived but the property owner did have it taken care of the following afternoon. The fenced yard was not good for dogs. After storming the part of the fence fell. Notified property oqwwner and he responded with pretty much what was the problem. We made temp repairs to keep the dogs from getting out easily. The stove door came apart but we chose to fix it because we hadn’t really had much action from the owner. The location was fantastic and the pool was great. The rooms are smaller than they appear in pictures. I felt like it was quite a bit over priced. I would not recommend it for smaller children if you plan on using the beds in the game room or for pets.

This was our second time at this property. The house, amenities, pool / hot tub, and location to the beach make for a perfect stay.

Had a wonderful time despite the horrible weather! So much to do around Sandbridge if you’re looking for activity but, you come back to a quiet little village at the end of the day. Trivia night at the corner bar/restaurant proved to be a hoot for three of our older children; great golf; a visit to Norfolk for a victory rover cruise is a favorite; but nothing beats the beach. Sadly, beach days were few and far between due to weather- but the backyard pool and hot tub kep everyone entertained! Terrific location, comfy beds, nice amenities! Loved it all!

I made a last-minute decision to take my grandchildren away for spring break, and was lucky enough to find George’s house in Sandbridge. It’s directly across from the beach a short little walk out the door, a jog to the right up the path and you’re there. we played games on the front deck And I was in heaven as I could see the water and that’s a must for me. JORGE had the pool open and there was a hot tub so a quick plunge in the cold pool followed by a warm up in the hot tub was perfect for an April visit to the beach , the layout of the house suited us very well. George was friendly and communicative and I know if we had had a problem he would’ve taken care of it. I would rent this house again.

We rented this property on a bit of short notice to get to the beach this year. My family and inlaws and 2 dogs went. The house was laid out perfectly for us, with an angry teenager suite downstairs and two wings upstairs. The house was clean, and towels were provided on every bed. The pool and hottub were awesome. It is a short walk to the beach or the sandbridge market and ample parking. We had one day of heavy rain, which caused some flooding, but luckily nothing got into the house or pool so we were able to have a good time still. Couch and tv setup was great in the main room. The owner was incredibly fast to respond and very helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at Placebo. Location is perfect, the pool was a hit with everyone as the weather was quite hot, the home is clean and we had a great week.

The location of this house was absolutely perfect! It really worked for our family. I had never stayed in Sandbridge but will definitely go back!

We enjoyed our stay here. The location was great with the beach across the street and public access close by. The pool was great for the evenings as we had 5 little ones. The hot tub was perfect for the cooler days/nights. More than enough rooms and bed for 7 adults and 5 kids. There are lots of shops and restaurants close by within walking distance. Really great and fresh donuts at the Sandbridge Seaside Market for the mornings 2 blocks away. Also, ample grocery stores and fast food restaurants within 15-20 minute drive.

The property is located 1 block from shore in neighborhood. The pool and hot tub extra convenience.

The location, pool and hot tub, and reclining couch were the best features of this property. The game room area had a very strong smell to it, and appeared to have asbestos tile. There was also a gaping hole in the tile behind one of the toilets. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay and definitely really enjoyed the location of this property!

We had a great vacation at this house! Semi-oceanfront with nice view of the ocean, easy walk to the beach, & great location to the market & restaurant. We really enjoyed the pool area with plenty of seating options. The house is set up nice for large family gatherings.

Check in and check out were easy. The property is in a wonderful area of VB. It was an easy drive to convention center. House offered game room and pool/hot tub. Perfect for families! Would stay again.
