Our growing family (aged 1 to 67) just spent a week at Cedar Beach Inn The house was spacious and extremely well stocked! We have been coming up for years and this rental was the best so far Most amazing was the view and all of the outdoor spaces (yard and multiple decks) AND proximity to the beach, playground, town of Baileys Harbor not to mention - all of the west coast towns - nothing is more than 15 minutes away Can’t wait to return

Our family ( 3 generations ) stayed for a week. We enjoyed the porches, the backyard, the view, and fire pit. We had a slight glitch in that the oven was not operational, however the owner made an accommodation for that. We had a wonderful time and have great memories of our time at Cedar Beach Resort.

We came up for our daughters wedding. We had my 85 year old parents and our adult children. Every one had plenty of space. My parents loved sitting on the huge porch out back watching the water. The view was amazing. Beautiful sunrises. Very relaxing. The proximity to town was perfect. Made life easy to step out for dinner or drinks. The trees that lined the backyard made things very private on both sides. The shady front porch had plenty of seating to relax and people watch. The home is Decor is eclectic and charming with history rich items. I have a fond appreciation for. We had an amazing weekend and couldn’t be happier. We will definitely be back.

• The view from the porch and yard was beautiful. • The yard was big enough for kids to run around and play games. • The furniture had issues. Recliners were broken or difficult to operate. Wooden tables and chairs wobbled, creaked and appeared ready to collapse. • The coffee makers had used grounds in them. We bought vinegar to run through them and it came out completely black in one of them, yuck! • The whirlpool bath was not cleaned when we arrived. In general, the entire house looked like it could use a good cleaning. There were clothes and stuff in closets and dressers. • The garage door opener didn’t work. • There were not very many towels available and we ran out of toilet paper with 2 days left. • The steps to the lake were unusable. The balcony part had no support and would have been dangerous to use. • One of the garage bedrooms was so tiny! It was almost entirely filled by the bed. We dubbed it “the dungeon“. • The owners never responded to phone calls or messages through VRBO. Ray stopped by on his way to a meeting the first day but not because we had reached out. Messages sent after that got no response. • The fireplace in the living room didn’t work. • The house will sleep 16 but the only place for 16 people to gather is the yard. • I’ve read the responses to other reviews so I’m fully expecting a snarky response with excuses and blame shifting. • I love Baileys Harbor and we will be back, but not to this property or these owners again.

We had a group of 10 women on a girls trip to Door County. Some family and some friends so we wanted a place big enough so we could have our own space if we wanted. This was the perfect house for us! Plenty of beds and bedrooms and bathrooms. The porch facing the lake was amazing and we spent quite a bit of time there. It is in a nice location and could walk to several restaurants and bars. We would definitely stay here again !

It was an enjoyable stay . We were celebrating my 70 birthday with 3 other couples. The housewas within walking distance to area restaurants. Would stay there again

Greatly enjoyed our stay at Cedar Beach Inn. Perfect for our family. Right in the town of Baileys Harbor but also right on Lake Michigan.

Fantastic! Each family had their own space for privacy plus plenty of space to hang out together. Perfect for our parents who are in their 90s. They had first floor bedroom with walk in shower. They LOVED sitting in the four season porch overlooking the water. Couldnt have had a better mini vacation.

Great location. Lots of privacy for each couple. A porch with a view of lake and sun sets. Who could ask for more?!

Our group consisted of 4 70+ ladies on annual getaway. We loved this house! Everywhere you turn, there is another interesting collectible. Situated right on Lake Michigan, we enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch, cocktails on one of the decks in the evening and a fire in the fire pit on the lawn in the evenings. House is huge with lots of character. It's located right "downtown" Bailey's Harbor and walkable to restaurants, beach, shops, etc. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean; the rest of the house could use a good deep clean. But we were happy and would return.

Excellent place to be with a group, plenty of space to spread out and relax, owners were very prompt/easy to communicate with The view bay and lake is so beautiful, peaceful and relaxing Walking distance to all shops restaurants coffee shops Convenient store right next door you really can not see for all the trees/shrubs…just so nice to not have to drive anywhere if you don’t want to…Labor Day weekend crazy fun was a piece of cake at The Cedar Beach Inn!

Great views, easy beach access, convenient location to store (kids loved that). Enough room for family of 11 to gather for games of old maid, yet separate spaces for alone time. Great screen porch to watch summer storm. Appliances were new and easy to use. Did not use grills.

Great location and beautiful lake view. The property is old but that was fine with us. Unfortunately, the house was not cleaned before we arrived, leaving us to do the job, even though a cleaning fee is charged each rental.

Great Overall Experience.

The location is great - next to a well stocked gas station with a sandwich shop inside and within walking distance to everything Baileys Harbor has to offer. The house is spacious with ample sleeping space and a gorgeous view of the lake. Owners were accessible. No actual lake access, but a short walk to the public beach. The house could use some updates like new seating. The vintage bikes have the original tires, so they only hold air for a couple blocks. The kitchen is modern and well stocked. For some reason it seems to be a common issue for rentals to not have sheet pans, including this one.

It is a very comfortable house and we would like to book it again, but are a little hesitant because of the lack of cleaning. Owners were very responsive when we booked.Overall our stay was great!Just really wish it had been cleaned.

There was a large urine stain right on top of one comforter, curly hairs left on the shower walls plus hair in drain. And worse, but it's too gross to specify. Porch smelled like urine. Had the owners been more responsive to our inquiries they could have spared themselves this review, but there were very slow responses(I realize they have lives, but any other properties we've rented replied VERY promptly) and now nothing for over a week, and... my messages have been deleted? We felt the cleaning fee should be waived, since the home was cleaner when we left than when we arrived. Does not appear we will even have the satisfaction of a reply. Looking back through reviews now I see others have had these issues as well. Many many better choices in Door County!
